It's crazy honestly and both sides are guilty like anonimi said. Some APC folks also believed Jonathan was having an orgy in the presidential jet while traveling for foreign functions while some PDP supporters still believe today that Buhari married Aisha when she was 9 years old!! cheesy

I was watching one video on facebook where they were interviewing Americans on the streets. You'll be surprised at how totally ignorant and stupid so called white enlightened folks are cheesy

Idiocy isn't restricted to one side and surprisingly education doesn't totally eradicate it cheesy
Enlightenment is LIMITED to the information you have been exposed to, which determines how you process currently available information.
That is why many governments, politicians, business people spend so much on propaganda, mass information, advertising etc.
The white people were educated when they butchered some 10 million Jews just over 70 years ago. shocked angry embarassed
It is possible due to the SILENCE of those who know better but are not ready to SHARE that knowledge by ALL means necessary.

Politics › Re: APC Matters In Pictures by anonimi(op):
tawa89:
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has expressed regrets that he did not become the president at a younger age as there is a limit to what he can do at the age of 72.

He made the assertion on Monday while addressing members of the Nigerian community in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he also vowed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will "kill" corruption in the country.

The president, who recalled his times as state governor, petroleum minister and military head of state, also explained that he repeatedly contested the presidency because of his belief in the practicability of conducting free and fair election in the country.

He expressed confidence in the unity of the country, saying that even though there are some 'crazy' people who talk about the disintegration of the country, the country will never break up.

Buhari stated: "How I wish I became Head of State when I was a governor, just a few years as a young man. Now at 72, there is a limit to what I can do.

"But what brought me there I think mainly is because I love this country. I was in the war front for 30 months during the civil war. I lost a lot of loyal people to me, I lost relatives. A lot of Nigerians did too.

"We lost about two million Nigerians just to keep Nigeria one. So, nobody should come now and tell us rubbish. We are going to remain one country. God has given us another opportunity to reorganise this country. Those who work hard, the society will pay them back."

He said he had been told that there were 83 Nigerians in South African jails, disclosing that he would discuss the matter with President Jacob Zuma during his planned visit to Nigeria in the near future.

Buhari also revealed that he would inquire from the South African president about the whereabouts of the $9.7 million the Goodluck Jonathan's administration had transferred to South Africa for the botched arms purchase.

The president added: "I refused to speak from this draft speech because I wanted to speak to you from the bottom of my heart. Please, keep Nigeria's pride close to your heart, make sure you behave yourselves. If you find yourselves here, obey their laws. Where you don't obey their laws, you will have to bear the consequences.

"I'm told they are 83 Nigerians in prison, I don't know what they have done but I spoke to the President of South Africa this afternoon. He wants to come to Nigeria. There are issues he knows to talk about, I will certainly talk to him.

"I hope our ambassador will send a comprehensive report about the court cases, about those who lost properties during the disturbances and at that time, I will attempt to ask him about our $9.7 million which was not correctly transferred."

Prospect of a possible alliance between the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, was dashed yesterday in Kano as the leader of the party and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu described CPC as parading “expired leadership.”

Dollarization Of The APC Primaries: How Amaehi Vanquished Atiku #saibuhari

The blogosphere was inundated with reports of the excessive sharing of dollars at the All Progressives Congress which took place during the latter part of last week.

One APC supporter and Special Adviser to Osun Governor on Environment, BolaIlori had blown the scandal open after he saw the beginning stages of the dollarization in action.

He took to his Facebook page and scribbled, “Crazy things are happening here!!! Some of these cannot represent the change Nigeria is yearning for. Excessive dollarization by one of the aspirants to is to say the least obscene. I have been involved in political process for decades now, I have never witnessed this volume of raw dollarization of party primaries. I only read about this kind of things in PDP primaries. A question been asked by conscientious delegates is that whoever can be giving out between $2000 to $5000 to…delegates certainly does not represent the kind of change Nigerians want…those who contributed to the pauperization of Nigeria now revel in dollarization… majority of Ondo delegates are still standing with Buhari but have been reduced from 85% to 70% within 24 hours…the remaining has gone with dollars ooo.!!!!!”

One has to wonder how Buhari was able to win the primaries in this era of stomach infrastructure where dollars are like the Biblical manna that God sent down from heaven to nourish the Israelites as they made their way to the promised land.

Sources close to the APC with knowledge of the way the Primaries unfolded have revealed that it was Rivers State Governor, Amaechi who flew back to Rivers State and returned to Lagos on Thursday morning with enough dollars to make Benjamin Franklin blush.

It has been revealed that Atiku offered the delegates $5000 each, but Amaechi doubled it to $10000 a pop. Thus turning the tables in favour of General Buhari.

Since his adventure into the APC, Amaechi has gone out of his way to prove himself a party loyalist, always the first to shoki or azonto at the many events the APC holds, which he himself is usually the chief sponsor.

According to party insiders, Amaechi has overtaken Tinubu as the major financier of the party. One does not need to wonder why he is always at President Jonathan’s throat over misappropriated oil wells or other such business. Anything that diminishes from the State’s coffers will have a ripple effect on his funding budget for the APC.

Joe Francis wrote in from Port Harcourt.

The phone call president
Are you sure he is actually making those reported calls?
A man who cannot hear word when spoken to him face-to-face, how can he hear word when spoken to him over the phone huh
Stories from the Association of ProgreTHIEF Criminals, APC.

The best solution is in our hands, total economic revamp Of Nigeria.
Very correct.
We need to be committed to make the sacrifices on the long road to sustainable development starting with the education of all our children.
Can WE pay and make the sacrifice huh

my darling prof, nigerians don't have that kind patience for your solution. The solution to our economic problems is a long term one but I don't think we as nigerians can bare the pain that comes with the process. so I think the government is doing the right thing.
You ease the pain and hunger in the land first before embarking on long term solutions
How many people that you know on campus had to wait for their parents to ease the pain and hunger in their homes first before ensuring they educated their children huh
Do you ease your problems first before you fast & pray or do you fast and pray first in order to ease your problems?
Are we so incapable of THINKING rationally for our society even though we do so on the individual basis huh
If we don't make the individual and COLLECTIVE sacrifice by paying our taxes, import duties, levies etc promptly and adequately at all times, we will remain slaves to other races who understand that and are making serious progress as a consequence.

If you can keep pumping dollar long enough to saturate the market and keep the black marketers/speculators out of a job for good, then it's the right solution.

If the oil revenue increases and pipeline vandalisation decreases, then Yes, it's a possibilty.
Which oil?
Groundnut oil from the north that has ruled ruined us for the most part since our independence in 1960 and has received more share of the Federation Account monthly allocation?
Or Niger Delta oil in the south huh

Very artificial and unsustainable.
It will undoubtedly not revive the factories that are closing shop and creating more unemployment for our youths.
As it was in the 80s when old soldier Agunmaniye ruled ruined our country.
Once clueless, always clueless. grin shocked
