They will call off the protest after two days when allawi don enter. and come and give some spurious reasons. bunch of idiots
Is it not obvious that Oshiomole was making all the noise to collect egunje for his political ambition
EzzyCarter: "He said workers and Nigerians are disappointed that the government decided to increase both the price of fuel and electricity tariff at a time “other countries across the world are giving palliatives to their citizens to cushion the effect of COVID-19.”
Lmao. It's too early to wail sir. Remember the enthusiasm y'all used in ushering in this present government, it's time to keep that same energy. We all should put our hands together to support this wonderful and proactive administration. Nigeria is definitely on its way to glory. I believe
hilariousdammie: Media mogul, Dele Momodu, is super excited about Muhammadu Buhari‘s APC Presidential primary win.
He took to Instagram a few minutes ago, congratulating Buhari on the victory with picture below with inscription: “#ANewNigeria Congratulations Nigerians! The Saviour is here”

If there is any chance of the Fulani Republic of Naijeriya, FRN surviving as is beyond 2023, it will be because a reliable Igbo is made president. Anything else is the death of this contraption. Sure, certain death.

gurusprout: They have powers and responsibilities. It's just that, like every other Nigerian politician and political appointee, they have become irresponsible and they continue to get more irresponsible.
In SW, the only thing kings know how to do is sell hectares of land containing farms and hamlets to churches. Unfortunately, these poor people have no voice.
Things are going south for Nigeria.
Is there anything that you can do for these poor people to have a voice
Eastlink: I’m ashamed of him and other IPOB Abia based miscreants. Tell them to vote out PDP they won’t. Clowns disturbing Ndigbo with useless chants of Biafra. Charity should begin from home.
hisgrace090: One of the reason everybody is lamenting about poor roads in abia state.
When it rains in ABA you hardly differentiates road from gutter.
As long as the governor distributes kerosene the people are happy in their fatality conditions.
Igboblog: 2019 : I Weep For Abians By Wisdom Nwedene (Must Read)
Written by Wisdom Nwedene
Yesterday, pictures of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu branded Tanker distributing free kerosene to people at Umunkpeyi and other locations circulated the social media space.
Many people were seen struggling to get the free kerosene from the tanker.
I was shocked and wept bitterly when I saw the pictures because this is no longer the Abia State I know before.
From Ikpeazu's moves by sharing free kerosene and money to Abians few days to Governorship election, it is crystal clear that he is aware that he has failed the people who entrusted him with power.
I also heard that Ikpeazu said that the dark days are over for the civil servants in Abia State and donated 10 million naira to them.
My question to the civil servants is, will Ikpeazu 10 million naira solve the pains and problems you have been through in the last three and half years?
Let me quickly recall that in the last three and half years, almost all the civil servants in every sector protested over non payments of their salaries.
Let me do flashback, in 2018, the staff of Abia State owned University teaching hospital, Aba protested and cursed Ikpeazu over non-payment of their 9months salary.
The demonstration was staged Inside the premises of the hospital.
Also, in terms of infrastructure, Ikpeazu has not done well.
Let me also draw your mind to the Osisoma Flyover being constructed by Ikpeazu for over three years now.
Despite his promise that the flyover will be completed in January 2019, the truth is that the project has been abandoned.
When it comes to good road, hospital, empowering the farmers, Ikpeazu has not delivered also.
I don't know any reason a true Abia State born should want Ikpeazu to return to the Government House when he has failed to deliver half of the promises he made in 2015.
If you come to Ebonyi State, you will see what Umahi did in terms of infrastructure . He built many flyovers, good roads and empowered farmers. That's what I expected Ikpeazu to do.
Let me make it clear that I'm not from Abia State and didn't receive a dime to pen down this article but as a journalist, I know it is imperative to speak against evils, injustice, hunger, etc when I see them.
kaylardz: The gang up against tinubu and oshiomole is real, even d president is not left out. history will not be kind to Buhari for single-handedly destroy the party dat helped him to power.
Stop wailing already. ThiefNuibu, the greedy drug dealer was barely tolerated and now has reached his expiry date.
ignis: Every project initiciated in Nigeria will always benefit the elites more.
Unlike what we had when real progressives like Jakande and Awolowo governed the same Lagos.

WHO SAYS 4 YEARS IN OFFICE IS NOT ENOUGH FOR MEANINGFUL ACHIEVEMENTS?
IT'S A FACT THAT 90% OF GOVERNORS IN NIGERIA SINCE 1999 WITH REVENUES AT THEIR DISPOSAL CANNOT BOAST OF A QUARTER OF THESE ACHIEVEMENTS EVEN WITHIN THEIR EIGHT YEARS IN OFFICE.
.......... via Niger republic hence the railways to Maradi and other Nigerian money for building things in his home country. Barawo Bubu is not loyal to Nigeria at all. What else would make him abuse Nigerians every time, if not that he is an alien. An illegal Fulani immigrant.
President Muhammadu Buhari has berated Nigerian youths for being 'uneducated' and 'not ready to work'.
President Buhari, while speaking during a panel discussion at the Commonwealth business forum in Westminster, London, expressed displeasure with youths in Nigeria because they were dependent on revenue from oil to survive.
He said the youths, who make up 60 percent of the population, were waiting to get social amenities free without doing anything.
"And then the economy. We have a very young population and our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. The 60 percent of the population is below the age of 30. A lot of them have not been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria has been an oil producing country and therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, healthcare and education free,"
The moderator had asked Buhari to give his final thoughts on the issues discussed. The President said he had fulfilled his campaign promises by improving on the nation’s security and the economy.
White007: This is Yusuf. He doesn't like to work. He stays in a free house, eats free meals and rides a power bike all day long. When sick, he flies a chartered or presidential plane to some of the finest hospitals to treat himself all for free. Yusuf is a #LazyNigerianYouths Don't be like Yusuf
GEEBITE: The President of Guinea Bissau Umaro Embolo is a fellow Fulani. In fact Buhari bankrolled his election as that will be the first time a Fulani man will be the President since 1973 when they got independence from Portugal, even though they are the majority ethnic group in that country same as Guinea(French). I am sure they are planning to perpetuate themselves in power now. So dispel the thoughts Buhari is a popular figure outside Nigeria.
Many thanks for the background information. Barawo Bubu is extending his Fulani Republic of Naijeriya, FRN strategies to Guinea-Bissau.
comos: The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, on Friday justified the arrest of only suspects of Yoruba extraction over the recent clash in Ile-Ife, Osun State, which resulted in the death of about 46 persons. He said crime neither has tribe nor identity.
Idris spoke with State House correspondents shortly after briefing President Muhammadu Buhari of security situations in parts of the country inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The police had been in the eye of the storm for arresting and parading 20 Yoruba persons, including a monarch, over the clash while not a single Hausa/Fulani person was detained.
The pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere; and the Oodua Peoples Congress are among groups and individuals that have been criticising the police over the development.
Idris however said the police would not hesitate to apply the law once criminal cases are established against individuals, irrespective of their tribe.
He said, “You know we are police officers. Crime has no tribe. If you are a criminal, you are a criminal.
“Crime has no face. We don’t look at crime in the identity of where you are coming from.
“As far as you are a criminal and the police find you wanting, we apply the law.”
He said investigation had revealed that the crisis started with a disagreement between two people selling food along the road.
chukel: Bubu is loved beyond naija. Good man. But please, where is the road. I really want to see the road. I dont want to believe its that thing in the video. The surrounding area looks poverty stricken. Is that the capital of guinea bissau?
When you impoverish people beyond a point, they love you even more. Nigeria overtook India’s almost 1.5 billion as the extreme poverty capital of the world under Barawo Bubu, yet we loved him enough to reward his change with the next level second term.
ednut1: my uncle went to the uk in 1987. His wife joined him in 1999 after he divorced his arrangee wife. He came home every 3 years and hit the jackpot 3 times. Today all the kids are doing well abroad. He is enjoying his retirement there too. Money is very important in this life. No point staying in 9ja suffering with ur wife. She may still cheat on you.
Please what is the meaning of the bold part? Thanks
