Memorial Head:
This larger-than-life, 750-year-old head from Ife was very thinly cast and, accordingly, is quite light. Its enormous size indicates that it does not  belong to the tradition of heads that were bedecked with the Oni's actual crown after his death. More likely, this head was outfitted with a similarly-cast bronze crown.
The various holes that dot the face were originally ornamented with small pearls, leading Willett to suspect that they were perhaps intended as a means to seal the mouth. This practice hearkens back to various traditions according to which the Oni, as a type of divine king, was not permitted to show his mouth publicly - neither while talking nor while eating
(cf. Willett, p. 30).

interesting, I always knew those small holes were meant to hold something but the debate was what?; willett's theory about it's intention, I never really suspected though

I'm a fan of Kanye west music but seriously, world leaders?. what has he done in the world when it comes to politics and the economy around the world when it comes to jobs, healthcare, civil rights and etc. World leaders don't really befriend or mingle with entertainers(sometimes they don't even respect them unless they are Steven Spielberg, and etc), even when Micheal Jackson, Elvis Presley, and etc died no world leaders came, which I am not surprised. Unless he is a world leader himself(President/Prime Minister), the Pope, Nelson Mandela, Queen Elizabeth, and etc; then he better keep dreaming.

World Leaders and entertainers don't usually mingle with each other; two different worlds. Kanye West better get off his high horse and into reality.

Most of the black athletes in basketball, have black wives, although some have white wives/girlfriends. But alot of the times, it's because these black girlfriends they were their H.S sweethearts, or something like that. If these same athletes were to wait to look for a mate AFTER being established in their professional career, most would be with white wives. Most black athletes in American football though, that I know of, have white/non-black wives. I don't know much about soccer, so I wont comment on their athletes.
oh well I never knew about that, which is interesting but it is true about what you said that the difference between tha NBA vs. the NFL ratio's of Black men married outside their race; because statistically it has been said 90% of black NBA players are with Black women: http://www.yaaams.org/black-athletes-and-the-media/nba-and-whitewives/

You won't see white men marrying black  women, these fools will be dashing white people the money they worked hard to get from american football to basketball to footballer in the europe leagues
I am not against what you are saying however I am surprised you as a Black man is complaining about this. At the same time, This is a subject that I don't really concern myself with but I would like to correct you and say that the truth is majority of Black athletes in America(from the NBA to NFL) are with Black or  Black american women; now I am not sure about the UK but I have heard many are with Black women too, there was a thread or something on it on Nairaland which I commented on that touched base on that. Also sometimes these athletes they call black men are actually biracial men(with Black fathers) at times. Now I am not saying some Black athletes are not with white women because there are some that are with white women but it is not the majority that are with them, especially in America from what I have heard.

" Shaquille O'Neal is still making his way through the promotional rounds, trying to drum up eager buyers for his tell-all book Shaq: Uncut, and on Wednesday he made a stop on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live." His 5-2 girlfriend Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander was also in the building, and she was almost crushed after ,  well, just watch: (video in link)
In just seconds, "Wow, that 5-2 woman is able to pick up 7-2, 350-pound Shaquille O'Neal and walk him across a floor in high heels" goes to "SOMEBODY CALL THE PARAMEDICS!"

Also, Shaq is 39-years-old, and he's spent most of that existence being much, much bigger than just about everyone else in the room. How does he not know his own strength, by now? She's 5-2! And wearing high heels!

That goes for the Kimmel staff, as well. Write it on a placard and put it on the side of the stage: NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO ATTEMPT TO CARRY SHAQUILLE O'NEAL."
What potrays African American culture in the movies below

Big momma's house
For Colored Girls
Why Did I Get Married Too?
Abduction
Things Fall Apart
Gun
Caught in the Crossfire
for colored girls, big momma's house, why did I get married too; are based on african american culture & are black Hollywood movies, especially "for Colored girls" that was based on a african american play.
For Colored Girls
"Structurally, For Colored Girls is a series of 20 poems, collectively called a "choreopoem." Shange's poetry expresses the many struggles and obstacles that African-American women face throughout their live"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_Colored_Girls_Who_Have_Considered_Suicide_When_the_Rainbow_Is_Enuf

Abduction is not even a black Hollywood movie or based on african american culture, the only african american presence is the director. When I say Black hollywood, I mean Tyler Perry movies for example where the director, cast, and etc are black and the plot centers around black american culture. I never seen the other three movies but I read a little on "Caught in the Crossfire", and it seems like a gangster movie to me.
