"A 12 year-old Dutch schoolgirl gave birth to a baby girl during a school trip, according to local health services. "Neither the girl nor her family had realised she was pregnant, and there were no external signs to show it," a spokesman for the health services said, adding he did not know how many months pregnant the girl had been. The girl, from Groningen in the north of the Netherlands, was on a day out on Tuesday last week with her classmates where she began to feel violent stomach pains, the spokesman said. A supervisor thought the pains suspicious and alerted the emergency services. When ambulance staff arrived they saw the girl was on the point of giving birth and rushed her to a nearby building where she had her baby. Both "are doing well" in the maternity ward of a Groningen hospital, the spokesman said. DrummaBoy:I know |
There is beauty everywhere |
BoboYekini:I AGREE but I also feel culture plays a role to with high education & class |
fergie321:Cosign 100%, In the western world most mixed kids who are half black have non-black mothers, most likely white and majority of the time they follow the culture of their mother(regardless if they are treated as black or not), not many are like Obama or Halle Berry that has benefited the african american community but not many mixed race people of that background of Obama's for example follow that path. Plus their marriage patterns connects to it. |
"Nia Long is pregnant with her second child and before rumors can circulate of who the baby’s father is, Nia Long has revealed that it is basketball played Ime Udoka. “This is the most exciting time in our lives,” Long and Udoka tell PEOPLE in a statement. “Words can’t explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers.” Ime Udoka has previously played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trailblazers, Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs. interesting interview but I thought his mother was hooking him up with somebody or he was with somebody already. I am also glad he explained the real deal between Genevieve and him because you hear different from every source if they are really together but here he told how it was between them. I must add though somebody with that career will always have a tough time finding a wife, especially if it is not a priority for them. He seems to want to be the bachelor for now before he settles down. |
the sequel came from a excellent movie so I am not surprised, congratulations to them |
wow congratulations to him |
aribisala0:True, but not many in Nigeria, mostly in England & other westernized countries but that doesn't mean it is accepted by most Yoruba's. So whether it is new or not is irrelevant. I just think people need to start talking about their tribe then nation, because their are different trend's in each tribe. This "one Nigeria" thing is hype in Nigeria at times when it comes the things that goes on in each tribe. |
publisher:That is a load of BS, maybe in the cities in the non-yoruba parts of Nigeria that is going on but in Yorubaland whether you are a man or woman, it is looked down upon to be with oyinbo not to talking about walking in a Yoruba city in Nigeria with a oyinbo. I never heard this in Yorubaland, so please be specific next time on where it is going on in Nigeria. |
"SIRTE, Libya (Reuters) - Muammar Gaddafi called the rebels who rose up against his 42-years of one-man rule "rats," but in the end it was he who was captured cowering in a drainage pipe full of rubbish and filth. "He called us rats, but look where we found him," said Ahmed Al Sahati, a 27-year-old government fighter, standing next to two stinking drainage pipes under a six-lane highway. Government fighters, video evidence and the scenes of sheer carnage nearby told the story of the dictator's final hours. Shortly before dawn prayers on Thursday, Gaddafi surrounded by a few dozen loyal bodyguards and accompanied by the head of his now non-existent army Abu Bakr Younis Jabr broke out of the two-month siege of Sirte and made a break for the west. But they did not get far. NATO said its aircraft struck military vehicles belonging to pro-Gaddafi forces near Sirte at about 8:30 a.m. (0630 GMT) on Thursday, but the alliance said it was unsure whether the strikes had killed Gaddafi. Fifteen pick-up trucks mounted with heavy machine guns lay burned out, smashed and smoldering next to an electricity sub station some 20 meters from the main road, about two miles west of Sirte. They had clearly been hit by a force far beyond anything the motley army the former rebels have assembled during eight months of revolt to overthrow the once feared leader. But there was no bomb crater, indicating the strike may have been carried out by a helicopter gunship, or had been strafed by a fighter jet. Inside the trucks still in their seats sat the charred skeletal remains of drivers and passengers killed instantly by the strike. Other bodies lay mutilated and contorted strewn in the grass. Some 50 bodies in all. Gaddafi himself and a handful of his men escaped death and appeared to have ran through a stand of trees toward the main road and hid in the two drainage pipes. But a group of government fighters were on their tail. "At first we fired at them with anti-aircraft guns, but it was no use," said Salem Bakeer, while being feted by his comrades near the road. "Then we went in on foot. "One of Gaddafi's men came out waving his rifle in the air and shouting surrender, but as soon as he saw my face he started shooting at me," he told Reuters. "Then I think Gaddafi must have told them to stop. 'My master is here, my master is here', he said, 'Muammar Gaddafi is here and he is wounded'," said Bakeer. "We went in and brought Gaddafi out. He was saying 'what's wrong? What's wrong? What's going on?'. Then we took him and put him in the car," Bakeer said. At the time of capture, Gaddafi was already wounded with gunshots to his leg and to his back, Bakeer said. Other government fighters who said they took part in Gaddafi's capture, separately confirmed Bakeer's version of events, though one said the man who ruled Libya for 42 years was shot and wounded at the last minute by one of his own men. "One of Muammar Gaddafi's guards shot him in the chest," said Omran Jouma Shawan. Army chief Jabr was also captured alive, Bakeer said. NTC officials later announced he was dead. Fallen electricity cables partially covered the entrance to the pipes and the bodies of three men, apparently Gaddafi bodyguards lay at the entrance to one end, one in shorts probably due to a bandaged wound on his leg. Four more bodies lay at the other end of the pipes. All black men, one had his brains blown out, another man had been decapitated, his dreadlocked head lying beside his torso. Joyous government fighters fired their weapons in the air, shouted "Allahu Akbar" and posed for pictures. Others wrote graffiti on the concrete parapets of the highway. "Gaddafi was captured here," said one simply. From there Gaddafi was taken to the nearby city of Sirte where he and his dwindling band of die-hard supporters had made a last stand under a rain of missile and artillery fire in a desperate two-month siege. Video footage showed Gaddafi, dazed and wounded, but still clearly alive and gesturing with his hands as he was dragged from a pick-up truck by a crowd of angry jostling group of government soldiers who hit him and pulled his hair. He then appeared to fall to the ground and was enveloped by the crowd. NTC officials later announced Gaddafi had died of his wounds after capture." http://news.yahoo.com/libyas-gaddafi-caught-hiding-rat-164753890.html Gaddafi https://www.fishandcheese.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/GaddafiPurple.jpg When Gaddafi was found https://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/About/General/2011/10/20/1319113297803/An-image-captured-off-a-c-007.jpg |
he had it coming to him |
fergie321:The white females I know that have been with black men despite them being good in bed, they in the end of the day prefer their white men from their culture, and these women are European, so I feel culture is involved. It goes beyond bed, but I have seen that trend you mentioned with white american females, so it isn't as clear cut as you make it because of s-ex with black men, so I disagree. There is even a documentary about married and single white women from around the world that will travel to the Caribbean just to Be Intimate with black men then go back to their white spouses: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtU3m2M1Ivs I also think class is involved because high class, wealthy white women whether they been in bed with black men or not never consider Black men for marriage(especially European women) just based on S-EX, the same goes with most middle class white women unless the black men is in the same middle class level but the white women I tend to see to just settle with Black men because of s-ex ONLY is mostly is white american women of the lower class, and also lower class backgrounds in other countries. White females like Kendra Wilkinson usually use s-ex with black men as the determining factor in choosing a black man but a white female like Pippa or Kate Middleton, you wouldn't see them near a black man only high class, wealthy white men; even if they are sleeping with Black men on the side behind closed doors. The only non-white guy a high class, wealthy white women may consider is a wealthy man of multi-multi millionaire or billionaire status with a un-trashy background like Al Fayed or Dangote. this s-ex with black men as the end all to me is overrated and isn't as strong to push somebody to stay with somebody. When it comes to white men not wanting white women who were with Black men before, to a extent it is true but many times white women never tell the white men they are with that they were with black men in their previous relationships. I mean why should they, it will ruin their chances of being with a white man, the only times white men find out that a white women they have interest in was with a black man, is if the white female confided in them or if they have mixed kids before with a Black man. |
I couldn't believe it until I saw it on the news, how the mighty has fallen http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/oct/20/gaddafi-dead-says-libyan-pm?newsfeed=true |
lindabon:I never experience a white female friend like the one you mentioned but I know some white females that have went out with Black men but still stay and prefer their white men of their culture to marry and almost all of them are not American, some of them are German, Russian, Greek; so you have a point. Most of the cases they tell me it is because of culture, which is true & I don't question it or see nothing wrong with it because I can only see myself with a Yoruba man to or mixed Yoruba men that is raised in the Yoruba culture. That saying about "once you go black and you never go back" tends to be with white and black americans, especially for the low class at times. |
Long One:Actually in general Women are the keepers of Culture I have seen many examples where Nigerian men have married out of their race and culture and the children, which majority of the time are born & raised in the western world follow the culture of the mother; Maybe if they bring them to Nigeria it is possible, especially if the mother is from another african country but if she is non-African & non-black it is mystery box but most children from Nigerian fathers & non-African mother(specifically non-west african) are born in the western world so it is a given, they will follow their mothers culture Women are the keepers of Culture, without african women many african cultures would have collapsed because it is women that are around the kids more then the fathers. |
