Cmanforall: @adebasket and sirkezman....
I want to put things in order before contacting the Finnish embassy. Please, the issue of health insurance, which AIICO was the best suggested for(in this forum) as against SIP... I want to know if one is to pay for 1month insurance? Cos the kind money ds ppl talk for a year is damn too scary...
. Part of their mail on health insurance: .
'.......Please note that any communication or questions about the insurance should be directed to the insurance provider and that your residence permit will only be valid for as long as the health insurance that you buy.'
Ogas, pls clarify ds, abeg. U would need one year insurance regardless of what is written. Ur insursurance must cover u to the sum of 30, 000 Euro. I would have advicesd you buy SIP..but the price is expensive. Using SIP means there will be no issue with the verification of Ur insurance document as even the embassy recommends it. However other insurance policies are accepted...but will go through verification and other processes to ensure the quality and the ability of the firm to pay claims in case something does happen to u. This takes time. Whatever one u purchase..must be valid for one year....and be worth 30,000 Euro cover |

Onyeoma3: It depends on the type of conditional offer...
A conditional offer requesting for the presentation of certificates or transcripts is a walk over (as the applicant will definitely attach the required documents to his/her application).
On the other hand, a conditional offer requesting passing of some courses as pre-requisite for being admitted into the main program is rarely considered good enough for issuance of TRV by the VOs...(In this case, the "What-if" analysis comes into play)
Whichever case applies to him, he should hope for the best in his application... God has the final say in every application. Thank you so much for the info....I was ignorant about this info |

Also, some of our bosses here have shared their experiences as well. The SOP is a good idea, but this finnish peeps are not like their usa/canada counterparts, I believe. So if anyone wants to include it, you can. Ur a right...remember I said important but not necessary....anyways..God go crown all our efforts....sop or no loe..once God says ull be given..nothing can go against it....it is well |

If u can not sufficiently prove where the money came from...na kerosine una wan take do wine.....when a white man says sufficiently prove....be careful... Another thing the vo will look at is Ur capability to sponsor urself the following year.......remember u r not allowed to depend on work from the vo's point of.View if Ur company will not provide u with a paid leave letter...please involve Ur family members in the way I described in my other post.... Also note...it is important to include an sop in Ur application..it is not neccessary..but significant....sometimes Ur document might not follow a chronological order and the Vo may overlook certain documents...Ur sop may simply detail the documents uv attached and it's purpose..for example ..U use two bank statements....the vo might simply take a look at one and simply conclude u do not have enuf funds.....Ur sop can make the vo aware that u r using two bank statements from different banks....dumb analogy...I know ..but consider it from a broader perspective |

Hi great people....please I was discussing with a few people and I learnt that applying for a study permit from a country that isn't Ur home country has dire consequences. Especially countries considered as developing
I am currently in Ukraine..been here as a student for almost 4 years....I applied to two Canadian universities and I have gotten conditional admission to mun...waiting for Regina.
My bachelor's degree will be out in June ...20th to be precise...where upon I hope to get the unconditional acceptance from any of the schools. Because of time and the financial burden of traveling back to Nigeria ...I would want to apply here in Ukraine via online route as was adviced on this forum in the past.
But today's discussion put some fear in me..as it bordered on those who have tried in the past and had been denied...I know that it is unique to them..But my people...is there a way around this...what loopholes should I cover..to avoid discriminate refusal based on the fact that I am applying from another country...please help.. |

hayqinsbFX: @diamoonds4ever
From my research.
Decisions on visa application made from different countries are bounded by different conditions
For Nigeria as a developing country and a very low level of living there are more stringent conditions.
You can go by this thread and ask how many people have gotten TRV by going for an UG at 28. You can ask few of your friends studying in CA for UG They will tell u that there are very old people in their classes but they are never Nigerians or africans....mostly Asians, Indians or arabs.
If you say he should apply, he really could as there's nothing God cannot do. All we can do here is to advise on how to make our chances of TRV higher I like the way you analyze things |
