mbambah1:dnt go crazy yet...and it’s not true u have to check between 11:30 and 1 am.... I got an interview date for my wife... after trying the same time frame for almost two weeks Only for me to check around 6pm one evening and lo and behold interview dates... so my take... I think they upload available dates at any time... and people are grabbing those dates as soon as they are available... so stay vigilant and keep checking constantly... u will surely get a date. If u try to book via email ... Ull get a mail telling u to book via the appointment web app/page |

Odees:@Odees Please how long did it take for them to get back to you after the precheck was submitted. And what followed? (I mean what other processes and time frame) I’m asking because my wife sent her docs for precheck a few days ago...so I’d like to know how long before we hear from them... Thanks.. |

jaybeyblu:Like I said an understanding for the denial is key. I am sorry for the denial, I know how u feel. Now that we know the denial wasn’t based on any unprovided document or key unmet criteria...yes ..u should take the study route..there r vocational schools that offer free tuition and the application begins in February..the bachelors degree has tuition fees and requires u take an examination outside Nigeria (poses some stress). Ask ur husband to fill u in on the vocational thing..it’s quite easy to apply for and easy to get accepted. Best of luck ma’am...and hey no worries...u surely will come over to be with ur husband...na just small time be the sacrifice. 2 Likes |

jaybeyblu: If u dnt mind sharing, what was migris reason for the denial...a clear understanding of this will help in future applications...switching from one application to another (spousal to study) immediately after a denial raises a lot of red flags...this is my opinion cos u will be asked at the interview why the sudden switch rather than rectifying the reasons for the denial in the first application...and the last impression U want to give them now is that u r desperate..(with all the immigration crisis going on in Europe especially with Nigerians) |

How soon can one re-apply if one is denied a residence permit on the account that ur sponsor didn’t show enough evidence that they could sponsor u...and what is the best way to sort this out...? |
Travel / Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by anthochie: 9:28am On Oct 26, 2017 |
lastee: Firstly get in touch with ur school and try to get them to defer the admission till January...u will need to convince the school that the delay is from migri..show them a copy of the initialization of residence permit application process. Secondly, call or mail migri to inquire what the delay is for PS: if ur admission is revoked...migri will automatically deny ur permit as there are no more grounds for issuing the permit...speaking from experience 1 Like |

Abeg..need advise A friend applied for a vocational course at the Helsinki business college...and was placed on waiting list. She was however sent an acceptance letter on the 18th of July after which she gathered documents and applied on the 24th of July and got interview date on the 8th of August. She attended the interview successfully. The official resumption date for the program was 11th August which she couldn't meet up with based on when she got her own admission so she wrote the school informing them of the situation. The school is however saying if she does not resume on the 1st of September her study place will be revoked. Based on migri processing times a decision will be made on the 8th. The personnel spoken to at the university isn't even considering the time line and processing times of migri...she just insisted that she has to resume on the first or loose her study place. ADVISE GURUS IN THE HOUSE...thanks in advance 1 Like |
