REMINDER!!! Academic Calendar Changes. We would like to bring to your attention some important updates regarding changes to the academic calendar. Please take note of the following information: ✅ Admission, course, and exam registration deadlines have been extended until Sunday, April 16th, 2023, at 11:59 pm. This means that individuals who are interested in obtaining NOUN forms may still do so and complete their registration before the closing date of April 16th, 2023. ✅ Furthermore, we would like to inform all new students that the Orientation and Matriculation ceremony has been rescheduled to April 17th and 18th, 2023. ✅ Regarding the Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs), please note that none of the TMAs would close until the TMA3 closing date. With this extension, TMAs will be open until April 16th and beyond. We understand that these changes may cause some concern, but we would like to assure you that there is no pressure. Tips About Distance Learning It will require more self –discipline and responsibility you as you will study at your own pace. Excellent time management skill will be needed to keep up with the pace of work. Study every day because it enables you to spread your work out over a period of time than to attempt to cover too much within a short space time. Set realistic goals for daily studies and keep to them. Develop a weekly study plan. Review your work at the end of each week and modify your plan accordingly. Use a calendar/diary to plan as much as possible. 1 Share

TMA SUBMISSION ISSUES Hello students, If you are having trouble submitting your TMAs, here are some possible issues you might encounter and ways to solve them: 1. Invalid details: This might happen if you are a new student and your registration has not been completed yet, or if the school has not uploaded your details into the eLearning database. If you face this issue, try logging in with your matric as the password (lowercase e.g nou123456789) and keep trying until the school uploads your details. 2. No course found: This can occur if you registered for your course 1-2 weeks before the TMA commences. If you encounter this error, keep trying as your courses will be available soon. 3. No questions: If you see this error, it means that the school has not yet uploaded questions for that course. Keep checking for updates. TMA 1 IS OPEN HOW TO ACCESS YOUR TMA (1) From ur browser type https://elearn.nouedu2.net (2) Click on Login (3) Provide ur Username (Matric Number in small letters) and ur password (Matric number also in small letters) and Click on Login. [Proceed to (5) if you are not a new student.] (4) The system will ask you to change ur Default password. Go ahead and change the password. (only if you are a new student) (5) Your informations will appear at the top part of the screen. (6) Select any course you want to start ur TMA with. (7) Click and take part in all course activities or click on circle button at right part of ur screen, untill it change from white colour to green colour. Which shows that, you have participated in that activity. (8.) While scrolling down you will see ur TMA 1. (9) Click on it and click on attempt quiz now. Mac Solutions 1 Share

FACT TIPS ABOUT T.M.A FOR FRESHERS TO TAKE NOTES ♻️1. TMA is the acronym for Tutor Marked Assignment ♻️ 2. It is the continuous assessment of NOUN. ♻️ 3. It carries 30 marks while the exam carries 70 marks. ♻️ 4. A course, ENT309 for instance, has 3 TMAs. Namely, TMA1, TMA2, and TMA3. ♻️ 5. Each TMA has 10 questions. (10 marks) ♻️ 6. It is done and submitted online from the Elearn portal. (elearn.nouedu2.net) ♻️ 7. Whatever you score in a Course (TMA 1 for instance) eventually will be over 10 marks. ♻️ 8. Your total TMA1-3 scores are what will be used for your assessment. ♻️ 9. You cannot re-attempt your TMA again once you have submitted it. ♻️ 10. If what happened last semester is to go by, it then means that you can’t view TMA 2 until you submit TMA 1. In the same way, until you submit TMA 2, you cant view TMA 3. ♻️ 11. A good TMA score will go a long way in boosting your Exam grade at the end of the day. ♻️ 12. Samisha500:Summary of the Online Webinar The Webinar started with the reading of the agenda by Mr. Adewale Adesina. ✅ NOUN anthem was sung. ✅ The opening address was taken by Prof. Olufemi Peters who encouraged everyone to read course materials straight away as exams will not wait for anyone. ✅ TMA was intensively explained and will begin by 4/3/2023 - first TMA followed by others consecutively. ✅ The Exams Director Prof. Olugbenga Ojo, encouraged everyone to take reading seriously and encouraged that despite us not meeting face to face, they are always with everyone. ✅ The DLCMS team gave an overview of students Essential requirements (4Ds):- 📌 Devices: - mobile phone, tablet, laptop and desktop. 📌 Data: - interconnectivity, modem, wifi, broadband 📌 Digital literacy:- lecturer, learners, and parents. 📌 Digital platforms:- course and user management, two way conversations and feedback, creation and management of interactive communications media, digital instructional delivery components, instructional videos, course materials, discussions forums and online chat, live facilitation. ✅ Characteristics of Open and Distance learning were analysed among which are, self motivation, manage time, be persistent etc. ✅ Helpful habits were discussed, few among others are, plan your time for reading, attend online facilitation, be curious, take notes in learning, chat with other learners, update your profile on the facilitation portal etc. ✅ Important information: Facilitation will start on Monday 27th March 2023: 1. Go to the portal and copy your time table or log in your facilitation portal you will see it too. 2. Update your profile picture on the portal. 3. Change password to the one you will remember and keep private. ✅ How to use the facilitation portal was practically educated which I will not be able to write them here, but as an experienced technological literacy, you will be able to navigate the portal and understand its rudiments. ✅ Download Moodle Apps before Facilitation date. ✅ Q&A, Final Remarks and NOUN anthem. ✅ Lastly, the link to the recorded webinar will be sent to the email of all students. If you are yet to activate your email, go do so.

According to the school academic calendar, all registration will close on the 3rd of March which is coming up soon, in relying on any extension from the school may not be possible. To avoid any problems, it's best to register for your courses and exams before the deadline. Masters in Business Administration – is a postgraduate business management degree designed to develop leadership and management skills. It's for Professionals looking to advance to a General Manager, Managing Director or a CEO position. M.Sc. graduates tend to specialise in their function and prefer to pursue roles such as Head of Department, Director of Marketing, CFO etc. While MSc is extremely specific, an MBA is wide-reaching and goes into details about how businesses function in general. And holders of M.Sc. Business Administration could further academically to obtain a PhD in Business Administration while MBA isn't a requirement for PhD. Thank you |

GRADUATED STUDENTS FINAL CLEARANCE Good afternoon sir/ma; Good news to all 2023 graduated students 90% of your final clearance will be done online through nouonline.net. The school Management itself has put the final clearance page on the school website. Steps to do your final clearance on the school website click this https://www.nouonline.net/gcheck.php The Final Clearance Process ✅ Check your Wallet ✅ Determine the Total Amount Payable ✅ If the Wallet Balance is adequate, the amount gets deducted from the wallet automatically and the clearance is completed successfully. ✅ If the amount payable is above the wallet balance, you are redirected to Remita to generate an RRR for payment. ✅ After payment you should submit the RRR and your Matric Number for verification. If RRR verification with Renita is successful, and the clearance process is complete. ✅ Please report any discrepancy to the nearest NOUN Account Officer.
