Hello everyone,

Please how do I go about collecting my waec certificate in Lagos?
And please what are the requirements?

LISTEN CAREFULLY!!!

▪️If you wrote your WAEC in MAY/JUNE which you graduated from, To get your certificate or original result, you must go back to your school. Your school is the one authorized to collect your certificate on your behalf. Such a certificate should be ready with the school management latest within a year (officially 90 days) after the release of the results online. For example, if you write the exams in 2015, your certificate should be there by 2016 or 2017.

▪️For Private Candidate, GCE...
You will collect it at the WAEC office in the State you sat the examination with the following:
1. One passport photo
2. Photocard
3. Computer print out of the result
4. N5,000 cash (payable to WAEC)
5. NB: If your certificate has stayed in the WAEC office for more than 4years, the Custody Fee will apply.

▪️THERE ARE TWO WAEC OFFICES I KNOW OF, ONE AT (YABA) BESIDE YABATECH AND THE OTHER AT (IKORODU) EBUTE ROAD, IGBOGBO LAGOS.

2022 first semester came to an end 2 days ago 16/06 marked with the conclusion of the exams.

I wish you all the best as you await your results, I pray you all come out in flying colours.

It is not too early to start planning for next semester by at least start saving towards it.

If last semester was your final semester you can just do a portal analysis to make sure nothing will hold you back. If you are done with your project already pray that your result come out as at when due, if you are still on it you can roundup next semester without any payment of school fees or if you are done with all your courses.

All students should try and save their previous exam result from their portal because you won't have access to it again once a new result is released.

If 2022 second semester is your last semester and you have not started doing your project, you need to start immediately the semester resume by making payment for at least your project and get a supervisor so you can finish on time.

NOTICE TO FINAL YEAR STUDENTS

Those of you who are almost due for graduation especially 2017, 2018 set of matric number. Remember that some new courses were introduced in the year 2017, some GST and departmental courses. You are expected to register them, sit for the exams and pass the courses before you can graduate with the old set of students in 2021.

Every university do not just run programmes, courses are actually reviewed by NUC every 4 years or more, for accreditation. So, in the process, some old courses are removed, New courses are introduced.

Check your matric number and all your courses from 100 level to 400 level to be sure you have done all the newly introduced courses, not just GSTs.

We see some final year students waiting for their graduation list when they still have some newly introduced courses left undone. If you do not do it this semester, your own graduation may be till 2022, after you must have realized why your name was not listed in the Graduation list.

Some students did not graduate last year, due to omitted and newly introduced courses. And they are still yet to do anything about those courses, they are hoping for a miracle on the Graduation list.

BEGINNING OF RACE FOR 2021_2 ACADEMIC SESSION


Firstly, I want to inform you that e-exam for 2021_1 will end on Thursday, 15th July whereas McCarthy Study Centre will resume the rescheduled e-exam on 26th July, 2021.


Secondly, we are joyful that 2021_1 POP exam ended well so let's be expecting the result before second week in August. Meanwhile, preparation for a new semester has started this week nationally.


Thirdly, I want to remind you that it is a culture in NOUN that all students do ''portal registration'' at the beginning of every semester. Why? NOUMIS usually refresh the portal nouonline.net in preparation for the admission of new students.
