lexiconkabir: Do you know thats irrational of you? The judge who has learnt the sharee'ah of Allah perfectly, should be the one to judge and not me, why are you so fixated on this? All your aim is for you to see me say "yes! I will kill him/her", SMH.
Where did you get the teachings of Muhammad(pbuh), of which you want yo correlate these hadiths with? Mr Lexiconkabir, I rest my case here cos further answers may lead to saying something that is not so good and I wouldn't want that. Salaam. |

Empiree: I am honestly forced to comment on this. I can't wait till end of Ramadan to respond. I decided to go offline because I wanted to avoid back to back talks, vain talks in this Blessed month of Ramadan. Back to topic, I DISAGREE with brother lexiconkabir. Respectively, you are very wrong dear brother. You make my stomach turned.
I dont think i need to cite references further as rilwayne001 and others already did that. Brother lexiconkabir, first all, there is no way hadith can abrogate any verse of Quran....NO WAY. Do you agree?
This verse STANDS and VALID until end of time.
"THERE'S NO COMPULSION IN RELIGION"
The problem you have and those scholars you quoted have is wrong methodology. Let's assume the hadith you quoted is valid. Have you ever heard of something called "system of meaning"?, which means you can not take the above hadith or any hadith in isolation. This is lazy man methodology. You and those scholars supposed to put together all the data in reference to the hadith, put them together to form harmonious whole and then derive a meaning. You and the scholars you claimed you support took the hadith in isolation. This is very wrong and dangerous.
Now, let me explain the hadith to you if indeed it is true to begin with. The context of the hadith in reference to another hadith that you failed to cite in your #5 is when the prophet(saw) made the statement, it was in the time of war and if the apostate pose a threat to the community. So it is to mean that in that time when every man was a soldier at war and call to defend Muslim populace and then he joins the other side(enemy) and divulges the secrets of Muslim military to the enemy, then he's to be killed. This is clear case of treason. This is also general rule in any given nations today.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPULSION in Islam. You and your scholars go against Quran.
The thing is, in Islam, there is no separation of Church(Mosque) and State. Therefore, if a Muslim openly renounces Islam and then saying unspeakable things against Islam which may prevent or lead people astray or speak against the state, this is considered treason. It is only then govt will act NOT individual. When such a person in punished in our modern time, non-Muslims do not look at it as treason but as religious repression. They failed proper investigation.
As for you statement that Sahih hadith are ALL REVELATIONS, brother, it takes a very simply physics to dispel such mythology of yours. Yes, hadith is revelation also as reported by the prophet(saw) himself. But there is no where Allah guarantees protection of any religious Books or any books except Qur'an.
Allah Knows Best Thank you!! Let them read Qur'an. Qur'an first. |

lexiconkabir: I replied this, i said, i don't have the right to kill any one, whatever the court decides is what will be followed
If i may ask you, where can the teachings of the prophet bw found? How can u wait for court to decide when "Al-buhari "reported" prophet says u should kill the "apostate" however, he never "reported" to wait for court ruling. Ur question now In hadith (prophet says). All these "reported" cases may be complete or incomplete sometimes, accept the one that correlate with the teachings of Prophet and ignore the ones that does not, I beg. (As this yoruba saying goes: (Oro okere, ti o ba le kan, a din kan). |

It's people like you that make people believe islaam is a radical religion.....
You have been hammering on that same Hadith since, bit you didn't even see mine that is also in saheeh al-bukhari....
Even if saheeh buhari is the most authentic source of Hadith, it would still have some weak and fabricated Hadith, remember bukhari is a human being prone to error...
The prophet has once said that anyone who drags his lower garment, that portion is in the fire, but there are other Hadith which clearly states that rasuulullah dragged his lower garment, would he now enter the fire?? Subhaanallah!!!!!
The Quran clearly stated "no compulsion in religion" this is the word of God here, so why hammering on one Hadith for Allah's sake.....
My brother rilwayne also quoted lots of verses, but u still dey hammer on one Hadith, chaaaaii I tire ooo |

I asked you a question but u never replied me, if para venture one of ur siblings stop being a muslim today, will u kill him or her? Why must u leave what Qur'an teaches and prophet and believe u must accept what one "Al-Buhari" reported (when, where, how) all in the name of Sahih hadith which was written after the demise of prophet (S.A.W). |

lexiconkabir: Reported by Bukhari from a trustworthy companion of the prophet, whoever is truthful, we dont doubt, all hadith scholars(that i know) classed this hadith as sahih, and once it is proven to be authentic, we are obliged to follow it, i advice you to study a little bit of the science of hadith. But since Qur'an contradict what Al-Buhari "reported" which one would u advice me to accept when Qur'an 2: 256 and Qur'an 109:1-6 has said it all. |

lexiconkabir: Your Question will be answered by theses following points,
(1) This is the ruling of Allaah and His Messenger, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever changes his religion, kill him." (reported by al-Bukhaari, al-Fath, no. 3017).
(2) The one who has known the religion which Allaah revealed, entered it and practised it, then rejected it, despised it and left it, is a person who does not deserve to live on the earth of Allaah and eat from the provision of Allaah.
(3) By leaving Islaam, the apostate opens the way for everyone who wants to leave the faith, thus spreading apostasy and encouraging it.
(4) The apostate is not to be killed without warning. Even though his crime is so great, he is given a last chance, a respite of three days in which to repent. If he repents, he will be left alone; if he does not repent, then he will be killed.
(5) If the punishment for murder and espionage (also known as high treason) is death, then what should be the punishment for the one who disbelieves in the Lord of mankind and despises and rejects His religion? Is espionage or shedding blood worse than leaving the religion of the Lord of mankind and rejecting it?
(6) None of those who bleat about personal freedom and freedom of belief would put up with a neighbour’s child hitting their child or justify this as "personal freedom," so how can they justify leaving the true religion and rejecting the sharee’ah which Allaah revealed to teach mankind about His unity and bring justice and fairness to all? Let assume one of ur siblings change religion, will u kill him or her? |

Alhajipablo: LexiconKabir is it your post we should accept or the ones of those who posted before you?
How Sahib is the Hadith you quoted? Ask him ooo, sheikh Agege sometimes ago laid emphasis on some these hadith quotations that there are some wrong ones which we all know prophet cannot say, people are shouting here and there that he doesn't knw what he is saying, so, in a case where God says and prophet says to Sahih Buhari says, please which one do we count as authentic? |

Jackpal: There is this girl i met sometimes last year November after some period of friendship, we started dating. The issue is, she doesn't show me love at all. Even when I tell her i love her, she will only say Ok. When we try to have sex, she will stop me telling me she is still a virgin and that she will remain like that until she is sure of marriage. Around last month, i noticed a change in her behavior and she told me she wants to break up and that she didn't loved me right from the start she just gave it a trial. After like 3 days of begging, she decided to come back. I really love her and I can't imagine another guy taking her away from me. I try to start conversations with her but she wouldn't turn up but we talk more and joke will on phone. This is my first serious relationship though. I dont like having a girl around me for more than a month. I just Bleep them and move on. But I love her and i feel like settling down with her.
Please what can be done? Karma is catching up with you. |

WarRLaY: Mr seun , I was an atheist few years ago ... it all started when I wanted to study the word of God myself (Holy Bible), suddenly I started questioning and my atheism grew fasters with the catalyst of nairaland religions section then I felt i was not alone, fast forward to last year, I went to ekiti state with my dad, then we met a prophetess .. immediately she did her prayer stuff which I didn't even replied with amen, she told us the reason we came and how my dad enemy wanted to kill him 3yrs ago, ( actually 3yrs ago, my dad told us while he was sleeping he felt something strange like a sharp object in his body and immediately he woke up , he had pissed on his body, then he was building a structure in his hometown - he was not okay for like 3 months so he prayed and fasted and he was okay ) so the prophetess said a close relative fired an arrow to him spiritually that "is he the only 1 that will be building houses" .. so after she closed my dad chapter , she told me about not close to God and stuff like that.. my atheism was already fading away ... then she held a bible and a big key (not modern keys) , and inserted the key at the middle of the bible in a way that the key head is outside the bible , then she will hold the key at the top, (the reviewing part outside) and ask questions just like the normal oracle stuff.. she tells the bible to rotate to the right if something is true.. I was shocked .. I kept looking at her hand if she was not the 1 rotating it herself .. she give bible to my dad to hold, and ask questions about the future, in a way like (example : if seun's gf is his real wife , rotate right then she will command it to rotate left again "in Yoruba language" ) and the bible will rotate ... I just kept looking at the bible ..my knowledge in physics could not rescue or tell my why the bible was rotating, I kept my eyes close to it , anytime it's rotate .. ever since then my atheism belief was no where to be found, not that i can't reason logically again but I have evidence of God existence and am still not an extremist.. I pray to God quietly and hope to make heaven, I have stopped questioning and diverted that energy to something else maybe it could help humanity later on.. I think what we should campaign about is the limited time we have here on earth, to make the world a beautiful place and make Africa great Its very simple my brother, u already gave a clue to the prophetess, u didn't say amen to her prayers right? She later told you that u are not closer to God, how is that hard to knw. And for the bible rotating stuff, even one man (Ajilekege) closer to where I live does that (the man is Ogboni) if someone steals and know one confesses, the man will detect the person (with the rotating thing stuff) but ths time not with bible. What will u say about that? |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Salvation Plan by Antina(f): 6:00am On Jun 21, 2016 |
Seun: God created the first human couple and placed them in a garden with a talking snake and a tree that they were never to eat from. The talking snake convinced them to eat from the tree. For this, God cursed them and all human babies that would ever be born. Centuries later, God made a pact with a small tribe of shepherds in the desert - the jews. He would be their God if they followed his very strict laws.
God was surprised that the jewish pact didn't cause God to forgive all human beings, so thousands of years later, God prepared a new plan. God would impregnate a virgin, and she would give birth to God. God would grow up to be crucified for calling himself the Son of God. God's brutal murder by humanity would pay for humanity's sins against God. Then God would rise again after 3 days but only appear privately to his followers, proving that God was indeed the Son of God. Then God would chill for 30 days as God's followers met in a closed room, and afterwards God would descend on them in little flames of fire and cause them to preach God's good news in many languages.
Because of God's sacrifice, God would forgive any person who believed that God died for humanity's sins against God. After death, God would send the believers to a place where they would spend all eternity telling God how awesome he is. God would throw those who didn't believe this story or were not told about it into a lake of fire where they would be burnt alive for all eternity, demonstrating God's justice and love.
In an alternate reality, God said, "I'm angry that you ate from the tree". Adam and Eve said, "sorry sir". God said, "ok I forgive you". The end. I will urge you to read this same (story) u narrated in the Holy Book of the muslims (Qu'ran) and see how it goes. |

Roliks09: I have observed, with dismay the videos of so- called Islamic songs. I watch helplessly as core islamic values are thrown to the winds. The unfortunate thing is that these videos now serve as what people (non-muslims esp) see as ideal islam. My paramount grudge is that of using women in the videos. From my little understanding, women arent supposed to be dancing in public. So why do we have local videos with women dancing and no body seems to be saying anything. 2ndly, these women dont cover well. Subhannallah! I seriously pray that it wont get to the stage where they wouldnt even be covering at all. Ladies in those songs now expose their ear and necks, allowing the hijab to show their jewelry. What then are they covering? Its sad that no south-western scholar has come out (to the best of my knowledge) to condemn this. What can be done? Even the type of their so called "Islamic Song" is more or less like fuji now, infact there is a newly "cherubum and Seraphim" like released song by so called Iyan-ghana. |
