alexistaiwo:
Had a heated argument with my girlfriend today. In the course of exchanging words she said that she is always approached by guys better than me, guys I can never compare to. she made it sound as though she is doing me a favour by dating me.

Though I love her and she loves me too, some words are relationship deal breakers. I just can't get that statement out of my head even after much apologies and crying on her part.
That's how all girls feel. Even when a truck pusher or a driver sent on an errand aproaches them, he is usually seen better than their boyfriend.

Girls don't value what they have. They believe they can always get someone better but when you leave them, they realize you're just the only one who could be you. Other people are different.

If she doesn't do more than the words, still remain in your relationship. They are not different from each other.

PoliticsNERC Expresses Gratitude To Jonathan Government For Steady Power by anwo247(op): 9:09am On Aug 31, 2015
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC has attributed the recent improvement in power supply in the country to the efforts made by the former President Goodluck Jonathan-led government.

In an interview with Leadership Newspaper, the NERC Chairman, Sam Amadi stressed that a combination of activities and steps taken by the Jonathan administration had now yielded impressive results.

“But essentially, we have light because, one; it is a combination of several activities we have taken especially towards the end of last year,” which is the Jonathan’s administration.

Amadi disclosed that several meetings were held within that period, between the commission, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Chief Executive Officers, CEOs, of electricity generation, distribution and transmission companies, including government institutes like the Bureau of Public Enterprise, BPE, bulk traders and special task force on power.

“Therefore, what you are seeing is partly as a result of the success of those meetings because initially, we were more concerned with regulations. But now, since last year, we are now saying ‘let’s now sit back and look at how these regulations are working”

In addition, the NERC boss attributed the “very clear direction of reform”, from President Obasanjo to President Jonathan, for the improvements seen now.

NERC in a report earlier published by Post Nigeria, hinted that power generation in the country may increase to 5,500 megawatts by the end August pending the completion of the on-going repairs on gas supply pipelines.

During the Jonathan administration, a Presidential Task Force on Power was established in June 2010, to drive the implementation of the reform of Nigeria’s power sector.

According to records, some of the achievements of the reforms are; privatizing the power industry, improved power generation from 2,200 megawatts he inherited, to 4,500, re-instating the moribund NERC and commissioning of several power plants in Ogun, Aba, Sapele and Lagos amongst several other achievements.

According to a report obtained on Tuesday, August 25, as disclosed by the Presidential Task Force on Power, Nigeria generates 4,748.1 megawatts which is the highest capacity the country has ever generated.

The country’s latest peak power generation of 4,724.6MW was recorded on August 22, 2015, while the peak demand was put at 14,630MW, the report stated..

Romance38 Coverless Virgins On Their Way To Be Tested By Swaziland King Die In Accident by anwo247(op):
No fewer than 38 virgins have been killed in an auto crash on their way to the festival where Swaziland King chooses wives.

DAILY POST reports that a long time tradition in Swaziland (Swazi) permits the King, Mswati, to choose a new bride every year (August), in the Swazi Reed Dance Festival where the King parades and tests topless under aged virgin girls publicly to ascertain that their virginity was still intact.

The Sherburne-educated king is known to pick his wives from the girls who perform for him at the traditional dance, a tribute to the queen mother. The King had chosen a 19-year-old virgin from the dancing maidens last year August, who became his 14th wife.

The single truth is that even buahri himself is so corrupt. Even till now, the Dullard refuse to declare his assets publicly.

We shd know if it's still the same 1m naira and 150 cows!

Until then, he remains the most corrupt and hypocritical fighter ever known.
