Health › Lady Commits Suicide After Her Mum Accused Her Of Taking Her Money (Photos) by Aonkuuse(op): 6:56pm On Mar 19, 2021
On the 15th of March 2021, I found out about the most disturbing news; a close friend of mine took her life. It was the unbelievable because she was literally fine the night before, posting about the Grammys only to find out she was dead some hours later.

She killed herself. This is the most vibrant person I’ve ever known. What happened?

Almost no one could answer the question at the time and most of us just seemed to assume it was depression and she was just masking it with a smile. I have known her for a long time and even with personal issues, it never got so bad that she’d actually take her own life.

I found it too hard to believe. So I did some digging to the best of my abilities. I discovered it wasn’t entirely depression. It was family issues and ultimately emotional abuse that pushed her off the edge. I was able to get some chats before the family seized her phone. Chats between her and her mother. Apparently, her and her grandma accused her of taking a large amount of money which she had nothing to do with. She pleaded with them of her innocence and it seemed it had been happening for a while but no one believed her.

I will attach the chats below. She was reaching her breaking point due to the constant emotional abuse from her family. They threatened to arrest her for a crime she didn’t commit. She reached her limit and reached out to them one last time but all they did was more threats and emotional and mental abuse. She bought sniper, snapped it and told them of what was coming, they didn’t seem to care. She took her life over something that could’ve have been avoided.

I am posting this because I have been seeing strange comments regarding her death. Stop your speculations. I also want to raise awareness on the affects of words of family members, especially parents and guardians. My friend died because she was bullied by her own family so much that she felt alienated.

If you can’t be kind, don’t have kids. Stop bring children to this world to suffer. Parents should learn how to show their children love and affection, most times parents care only about physical health and not mental health.

I didn’t add,the money wasn’t physical, it was transactional(bank transfers), owner of money is abroad and my friend was in Nigeria so howhuh!!!

Politics › Biafra Claims Bakassi Peninsula, Hoist Biafran Flags by Aonkuuse(op): 12:39pm On Mar 18, 2021
The Biafra Nations League (BNL) in the Bakassi Peninsula, is threatening to unleash mayhem on any security agency prepared to stop its operations in the region.

According to the group, they have taken over the creeks and bushes of the region to hoist the Biafran flags in all parts of Bakassi Peninsula of both Nigeria and Cameroon.

In a statement signed by its Operational Commander in Bakassi Peninsula on Wednesday, the group also threatened to enforce the expulsion of oil companies from the region.

“BNL activities in Bakassi Peninsula will differ from other areas,” the group warned.

“Any oil vessel coming towards Bakassi Peninsula to stay off, otherwise their vessels will be hijacked in the sea,” it boasted.

Earlier, BNL had in a separate statement disassociated itself from Asari Dokubo’s Biafran De Facto Customary Government.

Politics › AAC Expels Omoyele Sowore by Aonkuuse(op): 4:22am On Mar 11, 2021
The Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 general election, Omoyele Sowore, has been expelled from the party, the AAC leadership has said.

Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, the National Chairman of AAC, Dr. Leonard Nzenwa, said Sowore’s expulsion was ratified by its highest decision-making organ.

He stated that Sowore was impersonating the AAC leadership by writing a letter to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) claiming to be the Chairman of the party.

Dr. Nzenwa, who is also the National Chairman of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) said that apart from the court judgement delivered on 12th July 2019, by Justice I.E. Ekwo of the Federal High Court Abuja affirming the suspension of Sowore, the party’s National Convention held in Owerri on 9th August 2019 removed and expelled him.

He said, “Our attention has been drawn to ongoing mobilization to hide under the name of our great party to wreak havoc on and burn down INEC offices nationwide, attack other public infrastructure and cause mayhem across the nation.

“Only last week, the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, that I lead bemoaned the state of insecurity in the country wherein we called on Mr. President to declare a State of Emergency on National Security even as we condemned in strong terms actions of some State and Non-State Actors in fanning embers of disunity through their speeches and actions.

“Same last week some group of people led by one Omoyele Stephen Sowore, a former member of our great Party, who was not only suspended and removed as National Chairman of the party but also expelled over various proven allegations of financial recklessness and misappropriation of party funds, abuse of party constitution, high-handedness etc started displaying and carrying out dangerously criminal actions, under the name of our great party thereby committing various crimes thereof.

“African Action Congress, AAC is indeed appalled by acts of a man who now appears to have relapsed and clearly is manifesting psychopathic and delirious behaviour after his expulsion since 2019.

“Before we proceed, it is pertinent to draw your attention to the following compelling and unassailable facts:

“Following various Judgments and Orders of different Courts of competent jurisdiction affirming I, Dr. Leonard Nzenwa as the National Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC), our great party has been enjoying peace and order and cordial working relationship with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other stakeholders in the electoral process in the country.

“Following the commission of various acts of financial recklessness and misappropriation of party funds, abuse of party constitution, high-handedness, intimidation and threat of party members including greedily double-roleing as party National Chairman as well as Presidential Candidate in 2019 presidential polls exposing him as a tyrant, etc, Omoyele Sowore was removed as National Chairman and later expelled as a member of the African Action Congress (AAC).

“Based on the Constitution of the African Action Congress (AAC), Dr. Leonard Nzenwa was appointed as the Acting National Chairman of the Party.

“Later on the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja in Suit No: FCT/CV/1874/2019 procured by Mr. Sowore for one Mr. Abugu Bako, affirmed the appointment of Dr. Leonard Nzenwa as the Acting National Chairman of AAC. A copy of the Order is now attached as Annexure AAC 1.

“Additionally, another Court of competent jurisdiction per the Honourable Justice I. E. Ekwo, J in Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/512/2019 delivered judgment on 12th July, 2019 affirmed the suspension of the former National Chairman, Omoyele Sowore and validated the appointment of Dr. Leonard Nzenwa as the Acting National Chairman of AAC. A copy of the Enrolled order is now attached as Annexure AAC2.

“That in exercise of his constitutional rights, the said Omoyele Sowore filed an Appeal at the Court of Appeal and which is still pending before the Court. A copy of the Notice of Appeal is now attached and marked Annexure AAC3.

“Furthermore, our great party on 9th August, 2019 at Owerri, Imo State held its National Convention, wherein the formerly suspended Omoyele Sowore was duly removed as the National Chairman of AAC and also expelled from the party; and the exercise was duly monitored by INEC in line with the law and this was widely reported across all media.

“Following the vacuum created by the removal and sack of Omoyele Sowore, the National Convention of AAC, which is the highest decision-making organ of the party duly proposed and elected Dr. Leonard Nzenwa as the National Chairman of the African Action Congress at the said and he has been exercising his duties without let or hindrances till date.

“In recognition of my little effort to deepen and entrench electoral and democratic process in Nigeria, umbrella body of political parties in Nigeria, the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC elected my humble self as its National Chairman and have been helping to integrate, as well as grow the party within the body of Nigeria political parties as well outside it. The body has established robust relationship with all stakeholders including (INEC) over this period.”

Continuing, he said,”Arising from the foregoing, we make bold to state categorically that the said Omoyele Sowore is UNKNOWN to the African Action Congress (AAC) and therefore has no basis for laying any further claim to the National Chairmanship position of the party or in any other manner holding out himself as such. He is also not in control of any structure of the party at any level or indeed any members of the party.

“Regrettably, in violation of these Orders of various Court and the terms of the election of Dr. Leonard Nzenwa as the National Chairman of the AAC by the National Convention of the Party, Omoyele Sowore by a letter dated 2nd June, 2020 wrote to the Chairman of INEC wherein he held out himself and signed as the “National Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC).”

“The said criminal action of Omoyele Sowore as expressed in the letter was reported by his online media propaganda and blackmail outfit Sahara Reporters.”

Many killed, Others Injured As Gunmen Invade Benue Community

Benue state boils again as unknown gunmen invade Sankara axis of the state, killing scores and injuring many.

It was gathered that the attack was lunched today, March 9 on Tor-Donga, an area in Katsina Ala Local Government of the State.

Although as at the time of this report, the reason for the brutal attack is still unknown as tension greets the area.

This is coming days after gunmen shot and killed the older brother of former Governor Gabriel Suswam, Dr Terkura Suswam in the same Sankera axis of the state.

There were speculations that the killings are done in retaliation to the killing of Mr Terwase Akwaza alias Gana.

The late Gana was declared wanted by the Nigerian government but later accepted to embrace amnesty and was gunned down on his way to Makurdi for the amnesty programme in what the military described as a gun duel.

Crime › Benue Places N5m Bounty On Killers Of Terkula Suswam, Bans Toyota Corolla by Aonkuuse(op): 6:52pm On Mar 04, 2021
The Benue State Government has promised a N5 million reward for anyone with useful information that can lead to arrest of killers of Terkula Suswam.

Terkula is the elder brother of Senator Gabriel Suswam, immediate past governor of Benue State.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the murder of Suswam but there are speculations that he was murdered by late Terwase Agwaza’s gang.

However, the state government says it is ready to pay N5m to anyone who will provide information that will lead to the arrest of the killers.

This was made know during the Benue State Security Council on Thursday.

Resolutions arrived at after a security meeting presided over by the Governor as contained in a report by Terver Akase include:

“Council condemned the gruesome murder of one of Benue’s illustrious sons, Dr. Terkula Suswam. Consequently, Council declared a clampdown on criminal elements in Sankera and other flash points.”

“As follow-up to the last Security Council Meeting which banned the use of motorcycles in Katsina-Ala and Ukum Local Government Areas as well as the curfew imposed on the two local government areas, Council reviewed the situation and extended the curfew to cover Logo LGA where Dr Suswam was killed.”

The curfew in the entire Sankera area will now be in force from 6pm to 6am.

“Council also placed a bounty of N5 million for anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of killers of Dr Terkula Suswam. Council also acknowledged the appreciation of Sankera people regarding the ban on motorcycles.

It further acknowledged the people’s complaints that criminals now use the Toyota car popularly called ‘duck nyash’ to carry out their nefarious activities including the gunmen who killed Dr Terkura Suswam.”

“Consequently, Council resolved to ban the use of the ‘duck nyash’ Toyota vehicle in all parts of Sankera.”

“Council directed security operatives to arrest anyone using the banned car and motorcycle operating within Sankera axis.”

“Council decided that commercial vehicles operating in the entire Sankera must update their papers to authenticate their ownership. Similarly, all commercial vehicles must load in motor parks henceforth.

Council chairmen were also directed to liaise with the National Union of Road Transport Workers, security agencies and vigilante to enforce the directive.”

“To prevent any case of attack on schools in the state, Council took the proactive step of directing the Ministry of Education to sensitize schools on security consciousness. The sensitization is to begin with schools in border communities of the state.”

“Traditional rulers and the local government chairmen were also mandated to ensure adequate sensitization of people to be security conscious.”

“Council also constituted a Committee to monitor the sensitization of schools and the general public.

The committee is headed by the Security Adviser to the Governor and has as members, heads of all security agencies, Commissioner for Education and his team, Special Adviser Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs as well as all the local government chairmen in the state.”

Sometimes we create problems for ourselves. I was raised by my mom alone and she wasn't strict like your parents but I personally developed that lifestyle you are talking about by myself.

When I got into the university, I felt depressed because no one wanted to associate with me and sometimes I find it difficult to make friends too.

I became depressed and thought I will give it a try and socialize. I joined unionism in my second year and suffered set backs because of my inability to socialize earlier but I pushed forward.

I was made the departmental president in my 3rd year, lo and behold I had handful of friends that I was made to handpick from over 20 of them, male and female.

At the end it was a disaster (Long story).

I advice you to live yourself, that's who you are, don't blame your family for it. I know of my uncle, a pastor who held his children more than the picture you painted but trust me their social life changed just in three months after going out.

As for a boyfriend, someone who likes you will not care about your silence ooo, this mingle and merriments always turn into more regrets and depression that you might later wished to be managing the depression you already had.

Don't struggle to be social so you won't meet bad people oo. Just be yourself but don't be over serious, smile and feel along thats all.

Went to thailand, felt the same thing but trust me it's not worth it.
