PoliticsBreaking News; Book Haram Launches Radio Station by Apelex(op): 2:18pm On Jun 18, 2016
According to a report monitored on the Hausa service of the Voice of America, the Islamist sect, Boko Haram has established an FM radio station.

Residents in Tolkomari, which is in the far northern part of Cameroon, have confirmed receiving broadcast messages from the sect via the radio station on 96.8 frequency modulation.

The Voice of America report said the station broadcast mainly propaganda materials to counter media reports of victories by troops from Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger Republic against the Boko Haram militants.

The report said the Cameroonian government is worried by the new development and has commenced investigations towards locating the radio station, which is said to be on the Nigeria-Cameroon border.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Went For Police Screening But They Stole My Original Credentials by Apelex(m): 7:22am On Jun 18, 2016
Emmysteve:
I traveled all the way from Abuja to Gombe for the ongoing police recruitment screening but came back empty handed as my bag that contains my original credentials such as my NYSC discharge certificate, Degree result, and all my vital credentials got stolen at the screening ground. Also contained in the bag is my Gionee original charger, battery, cloth etc. In fact I had to come back on my plains.

Initially, I kept my bag in a hidden place under a table but one police woman corporal came there and threw all the bags way from the table that the table belongs to mai shayi (I wonder what concerns her ). By then we already queued up ready to enter the screening ground. We had to keep our bags beside the building.

After I finished the screening, I came outside to pick my bag and begin my trip but couldn't find the bag. I complained to them but no any solution. In fact one of them said they nothing concerns them with our bags what we are on our own.

There was no any other option for me than to leave devastated. I later told my sister who is still there to do a police report but the police told her that they can't do it without my presence (obviously they wanted her to pay bribe before they could do it.). When she informed me I told her to leave them.

That is how I lost my original credentials.

I think I might just get myself registered for another JAMB and start from afresh.
Go to the registrar of your school for another certificate...you be required to bring court affidavit and pay certain fees which are not much.....
Get back your certificate..
Inquire from the NYSC office in your state for your discharge CERT.....

While I can not totally agree on Seun's decision to ban forex trading and football betting on nairaland, as I believe everyone should have the right to choose what is wrong or right from the site, as long as it is not illegal or morally wrong, I also I understand why Seun took the decision because generally betting discourages youths from investing their time and energy in profitable investment.

Nevertheless, I believe sports betting should be an expression of an individuals passion for whatever sports that interests them. I believe more people need to be educated on the reasons why they should engage in such ventures.

In my opinion presiding over a country goes beyond having a 'certificate' (which is paramount by the way), it has to do with understanding the way a country works, the driving force of a typical Nigerian on the streets, the working structure already existing.

Of course, having a certificate is a prerequisite for becoming a president, but it should not be the deciding factor on the leadership capabilities, economically soundness and emotional clearness needed for a leader of a great nation such as Nigeria. Robert Mugabe is currently the world's most educated president while Abraham Lincoln is one American least educated president. Between the two of them, who would you rather have govern Nigeria right now?

Yes sire, I see myself winning this. I'm intelligent and articulate. I've got a magnetic personality that makes me unique. I am calm, poised, gracious, reserved and likeable.

On the prize money, i and my team members have decided to use it for our charity project to help people fighting depression.

Mr, shut up there!

Broke nigga you are. Broke and cheap it is.

It's a man's duty to care for his woman. Better get a life, make money, and be man. Not looking for the woman that has money. Cheap ass
I didn't insult you or any one by my comment.you have so insulted me but I will keep my words...

Caring for his woman doesn't mean she shud lean on him for her every needthe OP is talking about single ladies..

Unlike you am a married man and I don't play with me family. But that's my family,..it was different when I was dating and unmarried. My wife has a Job.I take charger as a man,but she is very helpful too.Dats why she is my wife.

You can't bring such context to modern day relationships of ladies that are mostly Gold diggers.that will tell you to make her hair, buy her cream, and the rest.that's very stupid of them..I wud help u on more important things. U shud be able to meet your basic needs. You
Are probably still very young.from your insulting and harsh words.
Every one is entitled to his opinion.u can quote me and not insult me.just make your point and as I have pointed out to u...

Be matured in your ways..even if it's a social site.I once gave a job to a young lad here.cuz unlike most posts I read by mist guys here ,just like u we began a conversation. We both made hot points but we Neva insulted each other..that's maturity.

Even your username tells me a lot about your personality

I will drop my pen at this point.
