Dear Nairalanders, e-helpers Please help us save a friend's life! We are raising money to contribute towards the cost of a life-saving surgery for a friend Adepoju Moronfolu Gabriel who has been diagnosed with constrictive pericarditis (read more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constrictive_pericarditis) Folu, as he is popularly called, studied Chemistry at the University of Ibadan from 2004 to 2008. Folu is from a very humble background. And he has been through a lot of struggles. In his first year at University Folu could not afford a mattress for the first three months. He slept on a spring bed frame. But he managed to pull himself through the programme and graduated with excellent grades. Few years later in 2011, Folu returned for masters in Inorganic Chemistry. He had big dreams like anyone and hoped that a postgraduate qualification will help him realise his dreams. Unfortunately he has been diagnosed with a life threatening heart condition, known as constrictive pericarditis which can be treated by surgery. Folu is a poet, a writer and a very most easy-going and decent indivudual. So it is very sad to learn that such a fine person is going through so much pain. Thankfully, pericardial stripping -a life-saving surgery has been scheduled to take place soon at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, Nigeria . The surgery is estimated to cost 1.6 million Nigerian Naira (approximately US$ 8,000 / £5400). Unfortunately, raising this amount of money has been very difficult for Folu, which is why we lead with you to join me contribute towards his treatment, and give him a chance to live his dreams! Please join this campaign to save his life. No amount is too small. Thank you ever so much for your help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XK636sTKbyM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4BaJIjFRPE |

PDP is the worst political party in the history of Nigeria. They will be shouting the election was 'free and fair' at national level, but they do their dirty and corrupt work at grassroot level. Imagine over 10 booklets fully thumbprinted for PDP in just one polling booth 2hours before the official voting time, and you are wondering how PDP had over 90% votes in the SE. I'm sure this was thier plan across the country and that was why FFK was boasting that they are leading in 23 states. I pray God almighty will never ever allow Nigeria to be caused again with this plague called PDP. |
This cannot be the same Fayose we know. Maybe someone hacked his brain ![]() |
Politicians are very strategic, Cameron knows most black people will vote Labour and most of them go to church. The guy quickly turned born-again, and rushed to the largest black church ![]() Unfortunately, the same tatics did not save Jonathan, it won't save Cameron...the tories are going to be kicked out of No. 10 |
That is my president. Buhari's tenure will be a turning point in the history of our Nation Nigeria shall be great again! Sai Buhari |
This is the kind of President Nigeria needs not that clueless man from Otueke. Governance is Nigeria is about to start making sense. Sai Buhari |
Wow he has a brilliant resume, but it is only good enough to dispense drugs behind the counter. We are talking about governance, administration and leadership here. Compare his CV with that of Ambode below
|
I am certain lagosians are wise enough to make thier choices based on the capabilities, experience and what a candidate has to offer, and not based on the careless statement made by one Oba, who doesn't even speak for APC. JK definitely has nothing to offer, his campaign has been divisive right from the start, the statement made by the monarch was only used as a fuel. JK is not OK JK is Just Kidding Sai APC Sai Buhari Sai Ambode |
Great news. I just tuned to it now. |
Rubbish!! Is this not the same Jimi Agbaje that said this just before the presidential elections " Lagos State has not Benefited From its Share from the Federal Government, because Lagos State has always been in the opposition party. Until, Lagos is in the same party with the Federal Govt, Lagos will continue to be loosing" Obviously he didn't imagine that PDP would lose the Presidency JK = Just Kidding |
Reno Omockery, rather than wasting your time writing your usual trash, you better dust your CV and start looking for job as you will be jobless in less than two months. |
Even APGA...lol |
Like Obasanjo said, majority of our institutions lost their sanity during Janathan's tenure. Thank God they are getting thier senses back. |
This simple paragraph from Aisha makes more sense than all the words PEJ has said over the last five years. |
We don win Sai baba |
kay1one:Is Vanguard now working for APC? When they posted Ekiti results you believed them. But when the result is not in your favour you tag them liars. You should be ashamed of yourself. |
This election will do GEJ like film trick Sai baba |
