VictorDivine:In your American dream. ![]() |
bonechamberlain:Watch how many of these so-called United NATO countries would start distancing themselves from this brouhaha as it takes a new turn. Bulgaria is already turning away from the war party, and many more would follow suit if it happened that the referendum were held and they voted to become part of Russia. No one wants to be on the cross hairs of Moscow nuclear warheads. Expect many states to declare neutrality soon. |
God1000:It was the west that started what they cannot finish. |
They want war, let them have it. ![]() |
Opolopoopolonio:Where are you getting your facts from? Russia started the SMO with 150,000 regular Russian soldiers, the rest are Donbass milita men and Wagner group which are not even up to 200,000 combined. Ukraine has a standing and active army of about 600, 000 men and you say Russia out numbered them since the start? That's not true. Get your facts right. Lmao. Himars was effective but it changes nothing. Except you believe that 16 pieces of Hirmars can win the war for Ukraine. If Russia with such a small amount of forces could carve out such a sizable landmass of Ukraine in less than 7 months, I wonder what a partial mobilisation would be like on the frontlines. Macron isn't calling Putin frantically for nothing. Ukraine is about to experience the full wrath of the Russian might. Kids gloves are off now. The only painful thing is that it's mostly innocent people that will end up dying needlessly in this conflict. ![]() |
rottennaija:It's game over for Ukraine as a nation. The next shift now is the Balkans. Alois Irlmaier's prophecy is coming into play. |
baralatie:Agreed that he didn't stick wholeheartedly to the Minsk 2, but he never allowed himself to be goaded into trying to take the two breakaway regions by force. That was why they brought in Zelensky. |
shogsman:Macron the last minute caller. Zelensky don buy market. |
shogsman:It's getting more daring and serious than we all think. |
baralatie:I blame Zelensky for this crisis. He allowed himself to be goaded into this mess by NATO. If it were Poroshenko who wasn't a saint either, he would have negotiated quickly from the start. But Zelensky think war is like the movies he use to act. It's painful seeing that beautiful nation torn to shreds. And the worst is yet to come. |
sanpipita:How much land Ukraine have lost since then? You tell me. |
budaatum:I did not disrespect you. I only pointed out a fact. Your excuse on their behalf is nothing but an apology. You don't just anchor on a premise that is entirely based on assumption when there is no factual occurrence supporting it. |
RichProminent:It's easy to spot a child even from afar because you can tell through his tantrums when he has nothing to offer as a rebuttal. Kid. If Africa closes its economic doors against the EU for one year, most of the countries there will reel back to Stone age. But alas, I don't expect a plantation niggga like you to understand that because you don't even know what you have to begin with other than what your slave masters tells you on BBC and CNN. Pathetic. |
RiceProducers:Russia will only break up in your fantasy world of delusion. Putin and Russia is always a step ahead of the collective west in the geopolitical chestboard. Get off your delusional high horse and live in the reality of the moment. It's shallow thinking folks like you in the collective west that has put Ukraine in this untold suffering and miserable position because you and them pigmified ediotic western leaders think you can wage war against Russia in its own backyard and prevail. So far, it's the collective west that has boxed itself into a regrettable economic tight corner. |
In saner climes where true Federalism is practiced, state police is key to guaranteeing public law and order. But here in Nigeria, some state leaders particularly from the North would always kick against it because they knew that once it is implemented, they will not have room to let loose their marauding Fulani cattle and rapists to terrorise other states at will or have other northern indigenes becoming the commissioner of police in a state they do not originate from. They also knew that if there is a state police, it would help to dismantle the "born to rule" entitlement mentality of the northern leaders, and that is something they cannot afford to happen. But it must happen. If the southern states are serious, they should just go and set up their own police with or without approval from the central government. Period. |
If only our leaders can for once man up and close door against their western capitalist greedy bastard colonial masters. The EU needs us more than we need them. Unfortunately, we are blessed with irredeemably blind and corrupt leaders. |
Jesus. This war is about to wear trouser and gown. For the love of Christ, Zelensky should negotiate and end this war quickly before more areas of Ukraine are destroyed. If the current SMO upgrade to full blown war, many innocent people will die because Russia would be bombing indiscriminately. This is really bad. I hope this war will just end. |
budaatum:You have moved from being deliberately ignorant to deliberate apologist or what were you trying to achieve by this puerile excuse you put up there? ![]() Is it that you didn't read where the paper described some of the leaders as "lesser leaders" whom same paper anticipated that they would be given the bus option, which rightly happened according to how the organizers arranged it? The paper simply reported what was planned by the organizers and it turned out to be true, so I don't know why you're trying to be an apologist by bringing up the notion that had people like Buhari rode on a motorcade, some people would have said he was wasting our money. That's assumptional excuse that holds no water. The fact remains that the arrangement was degrading, to even suggest it was unwise and poor in terms of security. If their own papers is castigating it, it's simply because that is what it connote: some Animals are more equal than others. Simple. |
Broveens42:Obj would never have taken the bus way. |
shogsman:Even a single car from each of their embassies would have sufficed. |
budaatum:You're just being ignorant. You overlook the bigger picture to cherry-pick your assertion on what you think is 'balance' on a political pendulum that is otherwise blatantly unbalanced. For a start, referring to some leaders as 'more important' and others as 'lesser leaders' is class discrimination defined, notwithstanding whether the actors/victims involved are whites or black. If you call yourself a democracy which hinges on Equality, then every leader that attended the burial should be treated equally. But as usual, George Orwell was, and will always be right; some Animals are more equal than others. Secondly, you ignored the security risk involved in cramming such huge numbers of leaders in buses. Like a thief, no one knows when terrorist cells may strike. Imagine if they decided to make global headlines by targeting the burial ceremony. A single drone strike or 2 to 3 suicide bombers dressed as security targeted one or both buses successfully, it means half if not all of an entire continent would be mourning the mass death of their leaders in different countries. Think about the political and economic upheaval that would resonate from such a scenario. Guy, as much as you don't want to believe it, the fact remains that the bus arrangements for African leaders packed like sardines was bad in all aspects. |
shogsman:And these lesser leaders irredeemable blinded and zombified bots here on Nairaland would waste no time glorifying same white men and racists western mainstream media. Do you blame them for calling our leaders lesser leaders? We have sheep's and plantation niggaz here doing their biddings by gobbling all that the lying media throws their way. This is pathetic to watch. |
It's high time African countries withdraw from the Commonwealth and watch the so-called British Empire's prestige crumbles like a pack of cards. But our enslave leaders who are wired to think they can't live without their slave overlords won't think of that. Just imagine how Commonwealth Games would look like without African participation. I would love to see the face of this irredeemable racist of a goblin King Charles when he would formally declare the Games open knowing that Africa, the formal British Empire's major pride isn't under its sphere of influence anymore. |
shogsman:Oh, so they've shifted the effect of the Sanctions to early next year?... How pathetic people can be. ![]() I thought they said Russia is finished. It turns out that it's the western economy that is getting to the finish line. Fact: Russia is too big to fail. |
baralatie:If both parties involved are happily selling and buying, it's because they love the terms of the contract and is favorable to both. So, your question doesn't make sense. |
baralatie:The war affects everyone. |
baralatie:The pipeline project is a different topic schedule to kick off soon. China is already buying huge quantity of Russian oil and gas via tankers. |
baralatie:The question should be "are they buying the gas and oil or not?" Answer: they are buying in huge quantity more than ever, which means the price is favourable to the seller and the buyer. Period. |
baralatie:This is childish. There are no senior or junior brothers in bilateral trade--just business. Mind you, Russia isn't the only country selling oil and gas. China buys oil from Saudi Arabia at large quantity, but don't expect them to not pounce at an opportunity to buy same oil even at cheaper rate from elsewhere, which in this case is Russia. Heck, even Saudi Arabia now buys Russian oil to sell also. It's all business. The fact is, as long as the current price of oil ($85-95) is twice the amount ($40-45 last year) at which Russia pegged it's budget before the SMO began, they will always make profit even at discounted rate (say $70-$60). Once you're big, you're big. It's Europe that's the biggest loser here. |
Vl3ly:I must say I agree with you. Before the war started, there was a reported meeting between Russia and some Middle Eastern countries (you can guess who they are already) . It was perfectly timed with the NATO/Ukraine provocation of Russia vis the US plot to get it bogged down. Hence. The hasty and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan with the sole purpose of focusing on a new front, which is this current war. But once again, the western economic/military/geopolitical planners underestimated and miscalculated Russia and the outcome this war would bring. If anyone think Russia would take off the soft gloves and upgrade this SMO to a full blown declaration of war, then that person would have to think again because this was a carefully planned operations hence, we saw how Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Venezuela, and OPEC simply gave the US the middle finger per the demand to release more oil into the market. As long as this so-called Ukraine war lingers, countries like Russia will get richer, the cost of economic production in Europe will get higher while they will end up losing their competitive advantage in production and market share current and emerging markets from Asia, because if there is one thing you can never replace, it is CHEAP RESOURCES. There is talk that another angle of the gas/oil price inflation as orchestrated by the current Ukraine war pushed by the US was a deliberate attempt to weaken Germany primarily and by extension, Europe which was becoming too independent to the liking of the US elite. And that is coming from within US own intelligence circle. Unfortunately, Europe overreached its limit and is the one now paying the ultimate price. As for Russia, it will continue to drag this war which is becoming obvious to everyone including western think-tanks. Because the longer it last the more money they make from natural resources. This war is far from over. It is only simpletons that love to shout "Russia have lost the European market" forever. As I'm typing, Spain is covertly buying Russian oil while pretending to go with the Sanctions. |
joyandfaith:Such is the reality of economic influenced by politics. Yes, Russia sells at lower rates to China compare to what they sell to Europe while China sells at a much higher rate to Europe compared to what Europe buys from Russia directly. So, both loses while China gains. |
Jokerman:You mean the one led by 99-year old Joe Biden who loved to shake "empty air?" ![]() |
