inspirator1:Well said. |
Hmmm. 100 retired Chinese service men just met randomly in China, then decided collectively to come to Ukraine to fight on behalf of Russia. Something is fishy...I think those men are regular Chinese soldiers covertly sent in to gain war experience. It also reinforce the notion that China is beefing up to take Taiwan by force, especially with the Pelosi visitation brouhaha and Xi's warning to Biden not to play with fire; hence they're out to garner some knowledge of western made weapons functionality in the hands of Ukriane since majority of Taiwanese weapons are western made. This is not good at all. Something is about to go down. ![]() |
Owerri1stSon:You just shown that you have never visited nor lived in Russia. I have two relatives living there. Stop the steroetype. A country where hundreds of thousands of it's citizens travels on holiday visits to different parts of the world cannot by any means be defined as poor. Yes, every society has poor people, but labelling Russia as poor generally is myopic. Measuring income by per capita is a crude method of aggregating people's wealth. You should be focused on PPP. For instance, In the first quarter of 2022, 14.3 percent of the resident population of Russia lived under the poverty line. The share of Russians earning less than the subsistence minimum slightly increased compared to the first quarter of 2021, when it reached 14.2 percent. As at February 2022, the US has a 14.4 percent poverty rate for the total US population. This is a slight decrease from 14.7 percent in January 2022, but a continuation of the spike from the December 2021 monthly poverty and annual rating. From the above two examples, despite the US income wealth per capita, it still has substantial number of people living in poverty, but you cannot because of that termed the US as being "generally" poor. Same hold for Russia. |
Kelvin3476:Emotions does not replace reality. |
okeysoninv:Lmao. S-400 routed by Himars... Even Zelensky would be wondering where you get your facts from. Probably from British intelligence. Ukraine have been using Himars to bomb civilian buildings and killing their own soldiers in captivity. There is no single Russian S-400 deployed in Ukraine, but in Belarus. And stop believing the propaganda...there is no Ukrainian counteroffensive other than firing Himars at the Kherson bridge It's laughable when simpletons like you easily fall for such nonesense. This was how the Lamestream media decieved you guys that Ukraine has countered attack and taken Severesdonetsk, alas, it was the other way round. Stop being fed lies and wait for the reality to manifest. Propaganda don't win wars. And listen attentively, Ukriane don't have the airpower, the needed ground forces and committed morale to initiate, sustain and realise a massive counteroffensive. These are facts, not some wishful thinking. Heck, they can't even hold on for long the frontlines in the Donbass where they have been losing territories gradually, with all their well entrenched fortifications being smashed to pieces by Russian artillery power. Right now, Russia is in the outskirts of Kramatorsk, and with the way the Russians are attacking other regions of Ukraine, it would be extremely difficult for Ukraine to even hold on to one area let alone find the forces to counterattack. You should be more worried about Zelensky future. The Zelensky inner circle is now crumbling like anl pack of cards. The man keep sacking his most trusted men I'm his government, including people in the SBU. There is now growing talk of a possible assassination of the president by his own men who he is busy sacking, sending to the frontlines to die while he and his wife are posing for Vogue Magazine making money for themselves. In as much as I hate this war, relying on propaganda won't suffice to buttress your point. The reality is the reality, and the stark reality here is that Ukraine can never win against Russia. |
That train strike was devilish. |
Another Igbofam spotted. ![]() |
Kingsnairaland:They are too emotional to even understand what is at play. ![]() |
okeysoninv:Classic trolling. Which table have turned? You are even calling God on MLS HIMARS? ![]() You sound very emotional. Please, don't get your hopes up, any talk of a Ukrainian counteroffensive is a pipe dream. Don't end up being brainwashed and disappointed like Igbofam who have retired to his Igbo Farm at Kwale in Delta State. Every sane mind knows that Ukraine have lost the war already. |
BritishNaija:Lmao. What you put there just contradicted your expectations. There is no bubble anywhere. Just simple logic. Create value for your currency backed by exportable commodity prioritizing production above consumption, and you'll have a functionally competitive currency that is neither too strong nor volatile. That is exactly what the Ruble and Chinese Yuan have done for themselves. They created real value for their currencies by being productive and having highly in demand commodity to sell and asking for payment of such commodity via their own currency. That's real value for you boy, not the wishful bubble you're expecting. ![]() Meanwhile, the situation for the collective west, particularly the EU is looking grim and grim every day. The US have for the second time in a roll see economic contraction and have entered into what they stylishly termed "technical recession". While the IMF affirms that Russia's economy is doing well contrary to what was expected. This paper said it better...https://english.alarabiya.net/amp/News/2022/07/26/Russian-economy-doing-well-despite-sanctions-IMF This is practical economy at play not some textbook steroetype economic theory. When you are big, you are big. The west are just learning that about the Russians. |
Barbarism and primitiveness at it's zenith. |
Owerri1stSon:Who told you Russians are poor? |
DukeNija:A very ignorant post. |
Mynd44:Brutality!!! ![]() |

Blackfire:A Nigerian friend of mine in the UK was like "why are these people burning so much from this minor hit?" The just watch them as they ran into fountains of water at nearby parks. ![]() |
Engeniu:You are dam right. Take Maiduguri for instance. There was a time the sun hit 53°C yet there wasn't any Bush fires as this one in Europe. Something is really wierd here. |
spy24:I agree with you. Just think about the fact that most times during the dry season, the sun in Maiduguri is way higher than this but there has been no Bush fires. So what is happening to Europe? This thing is something else. |
Zelensky overtly inviting his own assassination. What a sad ending we are seeing. |
How long will these ediots learn that even if Ukraine has five fleet of F-class planes, it still will not give them back any lost territory without boots on the ground to do the real job? And since half of Ukraine's main hardened fighting group have been lost or largely wounded, it's funny how F-class planes can assist the conscripts and wearied unrotated soldiers to fight on, let alone coming up against Russian more experience airforce and capable air defense systems, and that's assuming if the battle isn't over before the Ukro pilots complete their training. "A day without comedy is a day wasted" - Zelensky. ![]() |
It's getting hotter by the day. Russia is gradually turning on the screws. This is bad for Ukraine. |
Caseless:Most of the EU leaders of today are not visioneers, so they act out of emotions rather than being geopolitically pragmatic. Now that they have made the wrong turn, they're learning the hard way. No country in this world can survive 100 percent on its own. Europe need Russia just as Russia needs them. You can NEVER replace "cheap" in energy unless you want to lose competitive advantage in global markets. This is sadly what is facing economic powerhouses like Germany. |
Drenimarcus:Wow. I must have slept on such important news. I doubt if the US will open a hot front against Iran, that would be suicidal for the Democrats in the US coming elections. But these are people whose senility has long gone out with reality. So, anything can still happen. As for Himars being supplied to Estonia and probably being delivered to Ukraine, it will only help to hasten the war process because for every Russian territory they will strike with it, Ukraine will get ten folds in reprisals. The moment Himars came to Ukraine and the Ukrainians started using it on civilian populations in Donbass, Russia intensified it strikes deeper into Ukraine in so much that air raid sirens are now constantly blaring in every parts of Ukraine, which is about to cause another wave of Ukrainian refugee into Europe. Moreover, many EU leaders are now facing serious backlash at home due to rising inflation that has no stop sign in sight at the moment. People are getting frustrated and a mass revolution may occur across the block if they allow things to get even awry than it is now. With Johnson gone already, and Draghi facing resignation in Italy, plus the problem in Bulgaria, I don't see the likes of Macron and Scholz setting up themselves for more failures with regards to Ukraine and the EU economy in general. Nonetheless, these are neocons and anything could still happen. But what gives me a bit of comfort is the fact that Russia is always a step ahead methodically and geopolitically. So whatever the end game might be, Russia still have the edge. But we hope the neocons don't go on a dead journey with this crisis. God save the world. |
Drenimarcus:Possible. Some highly placed individuals were killed when Russian cruise missiles hit the Officer's Club facility in Vinnitsa, which means Russia sees everything that comes in and go out of Ukraine, which is a wake-up call to the west like British intelligence who always downplay Russian intelligence capabilities. When Putin said they haven't even started yet, that Vinnitsa strike underscore that remark, and as we speak, Russia has moved huge numbers of troops and equipment into Belarus. So you may not be wrong, something big is in the offing. Another assault on Kiev? Who knows. Trouble times ahead. God help Ukraine and the people in it. |
Well, that Russian missile strike on Vinnitsa Officer's Club changes everything because it seems scores of visiting weapon traders from the west were killed, prompting the US embassy in Kiev to ask all American citizens to leave the country because nowhere is safe from the damn Russians. The Z message was very clear: come and you will die. That message was so strong that Zelensky might have withdrew back into his bunker for safety. Who knows? ![]() |
Nancy2020:I hope you're not that nasty Nancy woman in Oliver Twist? Pity the west a bit.. ![]() |
This ain't even close to the one where he shook hands with thin air below. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_59agcnLAj4 |
The article is spot on. I remember during the Invasion of Libya, some NATO countries ran out of bombs. Just imagine if that was against a worthy opponent. |
The Russian way, the Indian follow-up. Some African countries to follow next. ![]() |
Caseless:You're so right. It's very hurtful when workers are about to lose their jobs. Some German top companies are already contemplating job cuts due to the inflationary rates that's not receding but increasing each passing month. And once you have job cuts, it means loss of productivity, so the observer was spot on. The fact is, you cannot replace "cheap" raw materials, especially when you're running an economy that overwhelmingly revolves around industrial manufacturing. You need the cheap raw materials to stay competitive in terms of market price, which has been Germany's secret economic weapon for ages--cheap energy, cheap metal sheets, cheap wood, coal, iron ore, palladium, nickel and so forth. Even as the country eyes diversification away from some of its dependent sources like Russia, the fact remains that prices of most of those raw materials have skyrocketed, and diversification isn't something you achieve overnight. Therefore, in whatever ways, the German economy is screwed for the time being as it continue to head on the negative side of things, no thanks to the devastating leftover effect of the Covid-19 virus and the ongoing war in Ukraine. |
Critical times ahead. |
