MrBrownJay1:Especially on social media where they are winning the war. |
Lmao. The comments here are hilarious anyway. ![]() If anybody really think that EU politicians will risk New York, Washington, Berlin, London and Paris for a disposable mad comedian like Zelensky and his Ukrainian inner circle, you have to think again. |
nigeriancritic1:Which sanctions? The ones that have failed or the new ones being proposed? |
Mrtaye:You didn't say this when Kosovo was forcefully separated away from Serbia. |
Heart3030:Of course.. . A 30-member Bloc still existing because of one nation, yet some shallow thinkers believe that nation is overrated. An overrated nation that use less than 200,000 of it's soldiers to defeat one of the largest armies in the world and carved out a huge territory from that country, the second largest in Europe in so much that the size of land they control now is bigger than Belgium and Hungary put together. |
DerrickzB:He is just trolling. |
HenryTimes:Are you being ignorant or just trolling? Who took cities like Kherson, Mariupol, Severesdonetsk, Zaporzizhia, and more...? The Russians. The Donbass militias never stood a chance against the overwhelmingly large Ukrainian standing army hence, the Russian involvement. Don't be a revisionist even in the eyes of glaring reality. ![]() |
jimetagambo:Millions of people you say? Stop looking for straws and enjoy the reality of the moment. ![]() People love Russia bro. Fact is fact. It doesn't matter where those people comes from. Adieu brother. ![]()
|
wowcatty:Just wait until their slaves here come up to defend the move of their slave masters. Pathetic. |
Mrtaye:Russia isn't forcing any of the regions to join it. They asked for it and the Russian Duma pressured the presidency to here their call and ensure the people's right to self determination and choice of location are safeguarded and guaranteed. NATO had no business being in Serbia and Kosovo crisis taking sides. However, they did, and since that was good for Kosovo, it's also good for the Donbass people per Russia. |
The bewildered west have grown into a monstrous circle of ediots with wreckless and unguided statements. They forget so soon that Russia's nuclear weapons can reach them quickly as theirs can also reach Moscow. What w crazy time. |
wowcatty:Exactly my point. |
boyfrank:Brother, don't embarrass yourself. Russia is the world's 4th largest preferred country of destination for immigrants. Facts don't lie. Stop believing everything you read on western media. It will interest you to know that the numbers of immigrants that preferred to go and live in Russia are greater than the ones that preferred the United Kingdom. See below. Adieu, brother. ![]()

basilico:Well, you may not be wrong because no one really knows what's on the mind of the Russian military planners and Putin himself. However, if that force is deployed so soon, they might make a push for Odessa since the Ukrainians are now pouring everything they have on the frontlines in the Eastern most parts. I believe they will try to make a push to stop the referendums because they understood that once it happens, it's game over. So, anything can still happen any moment from now. |
rottennaija:Exactly. It's a lost cost already. The Donbass people are gone forever from Ukraine. |
Mrtaye:It's US led NATO that bombed Serbia and forcefully created Kosovo out of Serbia. You can research it. |
RichProminent:Crawl back into your slipshodly shammed juxtaposing hole of delusional mendancity. Appleyard and Shogsman speak facts, not throwing tantrums like RichProminent whose views are embedded in jingoistic delusion. Your warped belief is all over the place when you claim that Russia set out to take the whole of Ukraine in three days. Gringo, provide one link to when or where Russian authorities directly said they would take Ukraine in three days. Don't worry, I will bail you out of your enslaving western prison of misinformation that you called news if you can't and you get stuck. I'm that generous. ![]() Ukraine have already mobilized five times, but how would you know since you have your head "Richly" and "Prominently" buried deep in the anus of "western ministry of truth." You're very disappointing. You just delve into matters you barely know and you don't even bother to research before you type, which is typical of a delusional jingoist propagandised beyond redemption. You're not even ashamed of yourself. Russia is fighting virtually the whole of NATO and Ukraine at once, and despite starting the operation with less than 200,000 of its regular soldiers supporting the Donbass militias backed by Wagner groups, it has carved out 30% of Ukraine, the second largest country in Europe with one of the largest standing armies in the world. It is a feat no modern army in history has achieved. The size of the territories Russia currently controls in Ukraine is as large as England and Belgium put together. Hence, the need to mobilize additional troops to consolidate on the already overstretch contact and defense lines, more especially now that so-called mercenaries (we all know they're regulars from some NATO countries ) have ammassed on the side of Ukraine. But all that your shallow mind could see and argue is why should Russia a nuclear power mobilize, which further depicts your ignorance on such matters. The US, another nuclear power did mobilized and conscripted people during the Vietnam war where they lost woefully and also in the Korean war. So you can see that your arguments are baseless and the points you raised lack merits because you argue based on sheer sentiments, emotions and a high degree of jingoism, which is your greatest undoing. Learn to argue based on facts and logical reasoning. Even if you have to be a bit bias, give room for admissibility of facts; that way, you would emancipate yourself from mental slavery. Lastly, you are wrong again. Putin did not fell for any trap. On the contrary, it's the collective west that have succeeded in destroying their economies with their folly by the conflict they created, thus opening the door for a new world order based on multipolarism. If really you think Russia is losing this fight, I will advice you to see pastor Olukoya of Mountain of Fire right away. You need serious deliverance. Adieu. ![]() |
Mrtaye:Really? If NATO thinks Kosovo is good against the wishes of Serbia, then Donbass is good for Russia against the wishes of Ukraine backed by NATO. What goes around comes around. |
seunny4lif:The funny thing is that even if Russia loses its veto power, it doesn't change anything. Russia will still do what it wanted to do and bomb anywhere it wanted to bomb. In fact, the US need a nuclear power force like Russia to be in the UN because no matter how rogue they may decide to behave, they will still maintain some levels of behavioral decorium under the UN Charter. In fact, two months ago, Russia was considering closing down permanently it's embassy in the US, meaning it won't be attending United Nations meetings anymore. The US foreign office quickly calls it's counterpart in Russia because they understood what such move would result to. But alas, Elensky knows nothing, so he is permitted to rant. On the other hand, if the UNSC is to be reconstituted, then two of these three from Africa--Nigeria, Egypt and South Africa---then Brazil must be made to partake in the body. |
shogsman:What else do you expect from them? Social media is where Ukraine always win its battles. |
rottennaija:They knew that from the onset and that is why they will try anything to stop it. I don't think the said regions will conduct the referendums without any Ukrainian attempt to disrupt the process. This thing is just getting started. |
Enugurangers:The leaders and those that blindly follow and support the diktats of their slave masters are the ones that have slave mentality, not the voters per se. |
VeryWickedMan:Any time I see this your moniker, na only laugh I dey laugh... ![]() |
Arkmanbuddy:Sadly, You're correct. Even US own investigations have revealed that just only 30% of what is given to Ukraine ever gets to the frontlines. While much are destroyed by the Russians, the rest are sold off by corrupt Ukrainian weapons smuggling/selling ring in the black market. Moscow knows about this and is actively encouraging it to flourish. After this Ukraine war comes to an end, some of these weapons will find their way back into the US and many European states via small cells of organized criminal and terrorists groups. |
shogsman:It is Africans on Nairaland with slave mentality that thinks the west actually gives a dime about them. |
Teaser4:Gaddamit!!! "There is no way back!!!" Just gaddamnit... This is coming on the heels of talk that some NATO regular armies dressed as mercs are among the defeated UkroNazis troops in Ukraine. The rhetorics from Moscow has taken a Stonewall turn hence, the frantic calls Macron have been trying to put through to Putin but his line was being blocked. Things aren't looking good at all. Just this morning, I saw on Al Jazeera downline trending news that Elensky is ready to negotiate but on static terms which will definitely make no inroads. At the same time, the ukies are transporting all their troops even from Kiev to the Eastern and Southern parts of the frontlines. That means, the referendum will either come under attack as the Ukies will try to make the last push to try and stop it, something the Russians may have already preempted because there are reported movement of large numbers of Russian land and sea based military assets into firing positions. Meanwhile, some European states are already signalling their willingness to declare NEUTRALITY once push gets to serious shoves. You need to read about the frantic panic moves across the Baltic states the moment they listened to Putin's speech., Which was never aired live to Europeans and Americans. So, it's not surprising that the Americans are now telling Elensky to make do with the current boundaries as it is now. They knew that any time Russia mobilize, shite is about to hit the fan. This is not good at all. ![]() |
Mrtaye:That's why the regions are calling for referendum. |
Ishitinyourlife:So even the west knew that this was just an SMO, not an all-out war. Where are those Zelevirus infested UkroNazis apologists and western propagandised bots here on Nairaland who says Russia has done it's best against Ukraine?. These Russians have not even touched 20% of it's capabilities yet, they have 30% of Ukraine. With just ordinary partial mobilisation, the are running frantically like scare pigs because they have envisaged what the Russians would gain next. |
See Russian politicians signing up to go to the battle front to fight. No single politician in Washington, London or Brussel can do this. It tells you how resolved and highly willed the Russian people are when it comes to serving their motherland. No wonder the west is so jittery since the announcement of the partial mobilisation. The presence of this politicians in the warfront will serve as a motivating factor for other ordinary Russians signing up as well. Na Warri and Onitsha market Ukraine don buy so. |
joyandfaith:Thank God you know Ukraine can NEVER win against Russia, on its own backyard....at least, not in this world. ![]() |
Teaser4:I don't understand why some people can't for once think for themselves. Why not do independent research to verify things for yourselves instead of just yapping anyhow. Is very bad. There was even a time when the Azov guys were shooting civilians who were trying to flee the country during the begining of the SMO. |
coke75:It's only kids that throw tantrums when they're faced with facts and have nothing substantial to offer as rebuttal. You just proved you're very insecured and probably suffering from ADHD. Sorry. But just to afford you the benefit of doubt, first it's good that you acknowledged that Ukraine prohibited men of fighting age from leaving the country. But, you should double-check your lies because the prohibition was based on martial law declaration, not for some economic nonesense. It's from that pool of men that Ukraine has been able to mobilize 5 times ready. |
