krattoss:Are nations not doing arms business with Russia today? what has sanctions done? Algeria buys almost every Russian made weapons once they come out of the shelves. Russia just reach a deal with Qatar on the S-400, the same weapon Turkey, a US ally has vowed to buy whether Washington likes it or not. What has American done? Where are the sanctions? The US introduced CAATSA because they fear the proliferation of Russian made SAMs. I repeat, the Nigerian authorities are bunch of morons to have spent that money on already decommissioned planes. For your information, Nigeria has purchased several weapons from Russia since the boko Haram crisis began. Therefore, the fear of sanction is not an excuse at all. As for the J17, it remains inferior in many areas, and a country like Nigeria should be going for the best, not a make over plane. |
mojeer678:You couldn't have said it better. Deception, creating false reality has been the hallmark of the empire chaos. Thank God the military didn't take side against the government. Venezuela will overcome this people. |
krattoss:While I'm no fan of the F16 or Indian airforce, to say that the Jf17 is superior to the F16 is completely laughable. The Nigerian airforce are bunch of morons to have opted for that piece of crap. If we have spent the money on the SU30SM, things would have been different, especially with targeting boko haram. Whatever, the Jf17 is no where near the f16. That's a fact. |
You are more likely to be killed as a Blackman by security officials in the US than in any other place in the world. Sawzer:While my comrade Zoharariel has touched on the issues of allies, let me just drop this, something that so many people easily overlook. Alliance formations are like the ticking hands of a clock. When it is 6.a.m, you find the long arm resting peacefully at number 12 while the shorthand stays home at 6. But immediately it gets to Midnight, both the long and shorthands cuddles together in panic, docking at 12, and watches on while the seconds - counting arm moves terrifyingly across the remaining empty number spaces. ![]() Now, hear ye the interpretation thereof. ![]() The long and short arm thou seeth represent the allies. When it was dawn and things were normal, they can boast of their resolve, beat their chest and even threatened the bear, readily available to host some equipments of their master, Mystery Babylon. But once it gets to midnight and the first shot is fired, the majority of them will quickly change tactics. While some will declare neutrality, others would shock their vassals by turning against them. It is only an idiot who thinks that France will go to war with Russia to please American interest. Italy will never take up arms against Russia in favor of Britain and France, two nations that they hate so much. Spain will declare neutrality immediately because Latin America (which Spain symbolizes) hate the hegemon. Greece and Turkey can never fight side by side for obvious reasons. Germany will be torn to shreds by east-west German ideological difference as it pertains to Russia. Ordinary sanctions is already causing major friction in Germany, not to mention the outbreak of war. Greece will never take up arms against Russia, trust them to declare neutrality. Now, if these nations won't in one way or the other fight, who then is left to fight? I laugh at those armchair generals who always envisaged a 28 member bloc rolling into Russia in the event of war. It is when war breaks out they will understand that allies change hands in the last minutes, especially when the public starts demonstrating. The real ally the US will have in the event of war is Britain and maybe Canada (because any nuclear strike in America will affect them as well), and possibly Australia. A lot of people don't know how majority of these nations dislike America. Turkey alliance with Russia in Syria should serve as an eye opener to the dreamers. History always have a way of repeating itself. The Russians have a non aggression pact with the Germans prior to WW2. Yet, when the war started, they attacked Russia. So, your ally today can become an enemy tomorrow through secret deal or long haboured hatred, or becomes neutral as a result of fear and public demonstration. Allies are irrelevant in this issue because any war that breaks out with Russia and NATO or America will surely involved nuclear weapons that will put all European capitals at strike range of Russian hypersonic nuclear weapons. Not every nation are comfortable with that thought. ![]() Now,.... Let me make something clear to you. Military spending doesn't equate to capabilities. The United States outspend the entire globe put together in military budget, but they still have to rely on Russia rocket engines to go to space. A larger proportion of the bulk amount you hear making up US military budget ends up in the accounts of corrupt officials in Pentagon and the MIC. They overblown the contracts and siphoned the rest. Another thing that will work against US ability to produce missiles as fast as they should is the many bureaucratic processes that surround funding and budgeting in America. In the US, files will have to go through many tables, the majority of which ensures that their cut is removed and at the end, not much will be left. You can do a research on corruption in US M I C and the Pentagon. If we are to go by the share amount of money earmarked for weapons yearly in the US, then nobody in this world should be able to match them in any area of warfare. But that is not the case. Military spending is just a crude determinant of capabilities. Another thing people don't know is that the larger proportion of that military budget goes into personnel and infrastructural maintenance such as toothpastes, tissue papers, food, medicine, water, soaps, fuel, power, maintenance of machinery and plants, housing, and so on. Only a fraction of the that huge budget actually translate into weapon production and technical deployment. The reason why Russia have the advantage to produce missiles faster than any other force in the world is because, Russian Military Doctrine centers on less complicated, portable and highly mobile and affordable designs per unit of equipment. Unlike their American counterparts that focuses on putting everything into one equipment, which doesn't only increases the overall cost, but also make the system more complicated and problematic to leave developmental stage quickly. Take for instance, the Russian SU 35, which originally was a series of upgrades from the Russian legendary SU 27 (if I'm not mistaken). What this mean is that the Russians always design their equipments focusing on one particular area at first, leaving room for other areas to follow in subsequent upgrades. This mindset doesn't just make the weapon less complicated and mission-focused, it also increases the speed at which it is produced tested and delivered for use since there is hardly any complications to deal with. Now, compare that to the US F35 which is highly problematic due to the over concentration of capabilities. The major issue with the plane today is that it is made to do TOO MANY Things at the same time, and that is the reason it keeps coming back with loads of problems here and there. Now tell me, in the event of war where there is shortage of weapons, and the need to replenish supplies, which of these two planes will go through production faster? Your guess is as good as mine. ![]() Again, take the Russian missile program as another scenario. The "S" missile series started way back in Soviet era. It all started with the renowned S-200, from then it proceeded to S-300, Now, we have the S-400, which even some NATO members and allies are cueing up to have. If you follow up with the series of upgrades, you will understand the Russian mindset pertaining to weapon design. Today, the S-200 is still actively defending against new generational airborne threats. The S-300 takes it more than a step, posing a serious threat to airborne assets, and the S-400 completely change the theater by making stealth planes another bunch of flying coffins. The Russians now have the S-500, which can shoot down low orbital satellites in space, and as if that isn't enough, here comes the S-700, which, according to one radical Russian politician means, "No planes will fly" before getting fried like roasted suya. .The thing is this, the Russian missile design mindset focuses on precepts upon precepts, line upon line, a little here, this decade, and a little there that decade. Therefore, when they build their weapons, they build it to at least, equal the demand of the threat for the time being, while leaving a greater room for improvements in the years to come. Now, tell me, which of the American SAM technology have this mindset? None! The Yankees mindset is "do everything today, and damn tomorrow". That is the reason even the most advanced Patriot SAM falls short of competing with the best of Russian SAMs. That is why they discontinued the B-2 Spirit of Missouri production, nor were they able to produce more F-22 Raptors because, they have NOTHING to improve upon. You get the drift now, right? Besides, when it comes to missile technology, the Russians are king, and even Steven Wonders in his blind glasses knows that to be true. The US is pulling out of INF today not because Russia violated it as they shamefully alleges, but because they have fallen behind like a decade compared to Russia and China's capabilities in this field. The moment Russia fired that Kalibre cruise missiles from Submarine into Syria in 2015, America knew its game over for their Bluewater navy dominance of the seas. The last straw that broke the camel's back was when Russia commissioned the new SARMAT Missile, one of which can destroy the whole of France, then follow up with the Zircon, Khinzal, and Avangard hypersonic missiles, all of these within the space of a decade, clearly announced to the US military planners that their era of Sea and Air dominance is over. The arrival of the S-400 and the new S-500 reduces America's dominance in traditional theaters of warfare. It is because of this fact they introduced CAATSA, a bill that seek to discourage the production and purchase of Russian SAMs by foreign nations. When you see a whole America introducing legislation that threatens to sanction other nations that buys the Russian S-400 and other weapons, then know for sure that the US is afraid of something, and the thing is the proliferation of Russia's Missile technology. Unfortunately for them, CAATSA didn't work out or isn't yielding the fruits they envisaged. So, the only way out is to threaten a widespread nuclear panic by pulling out of the INF Treaty, with the hope that Russia and China will come to the negotiating table while seizing the time to build their own hypersonic missiles. Unfortunately, Russia has called their bluff. Now America can start to produce the weapons Russia already fields while Europe bleeds from being a biitch for so long, as the rest of the world Watches on the start of a new arms race. ![]() |

Originality007:Been very busy lately offline. As you know, Nairaland don't put food on my table, hence the long absence. Now what's the fuss about: that IDF destroyed an "inactive Pantsir and some myopic folks are rejoicing here on NL? Anybody with a brain knows that even a child can throw stones and break the screen of an inactive vehicle, how much more a sophisticated force like Israel firing at a Pantsir system that is not working? A closer look will also reveal that this video is doctored, and from all indications, it is the same video of the same inactive Pantsir that was killed last year December ,Benjamin Netanyahu isn't a Yahoo boy for nothing, they know how to tell lies better than Satan himself. That video part of the missile hitting the inactive Pantsir was already on YouTube since late 2018, but my religiously zombified Nairaland lovers of Jewish atrocities doesn't know it because they are wired to read their Bible upside down and hail a country that endangered the lives of passenger jets, thinking by so doing, they will make it to heaven. It is sad to say, but am beginning to see why the Whiteman (people like Netanyahu) thinks the Blackman is the most inferior of all species. Very pathetic. Now, what concerns Russia with Israel firing standoff missiles from Lebanese airspace? You expect Russia to fire at Israeli planes in a neutral airspace? So why the cry "where is mother Russia, S-300, and S-400" that has been coming from u guys? Russia isn't at war with Israel. In fact, in case you don't know, Putin is very sympathetic to the state of Israel per the Iranian threat, and that is why Israeli planes have been flying unhindered over Syria since the war began, until that Yahoo boy decided to antagonize Russia. Even with the shooting down of the Russian plane, guess what Russia demanded from Israel. A 24hour forward information before any bombing campaign can be restarted. That tells you how sympathetic they are towards the Jewish course. But of course, your uncle refused and have reverted to firing long range stand off missiles and hiding behind passenger planes to fire from Lebanese airspace. The IDF and its planes is avoiding crossing into Syria airspace, not that they fear Syrian airforce, but they know that when Russia speaks a word, it backs it up with action. And the fact they have stayed out of the Syrian airspace since the Downing of the plane shows they understood what the Russian armed forces in Syria can do. If that is no deterrent, then you tell me what is. But again, it's all between Israel and Iran, not Russia. So stop expecting Russia to attack or counter attack when Israel attacks from Lebanese airspace. FYI, the S-300 delivered to Syria is not yet operational. It will take months for them to master its use. The only modern SAM system operated by the Syrian missile forces is the Tor M1 and Pantsir systems, which are short range systems for intercepting missiles and drones at closer distance, not for targeting planes at high altitudes. The only operational long range SAM system in the hands of the Syrians is the S-200, a 60 year old Sam for that matter. So, I just don't understand the wailings from the Wailers we are seeing here now. May be we will understand better later when the S-300 starts operating by the Syrians. Since they have been able to down so many incoming missiles with just their Pantsir and Tor 1 systems, I wonder how the scenario would look like by the time the S-300 starts firing, especially with its ability to lock on 8 targets at the same time while covering the entire Israeli airspace. It is then some of us will understand why Netanyahu have begged Russia for the past 5 years to not give the system to Syria. ![]() Truth be told, Israel will stop at nothing to crush or discourage the Iranian threat close to its borders, but in doing so, the situation will most likely escalate to a dangerous proportion that could spiral out of control. |

MONITZ:You have said it all. Do you even know that after the downing of the Russian spy plane as a result of Israel's treacherous act, Putin called it a mistake, and even absorbed Israel of blame? But that didn't go down well with the Russian military who drew his attention to satellite facts that Israeli planes intentionally hid behind the Russia Spy plane. Insider report had it that top elements in the Russian military summoned A meeting with Putin and were visibly angry at the meeting as to why the Kremlin didn't wait for their submission on the matter. The point I'm trying to make here is that Putin and many in the Russian government are very sympathetic to the Jewish cause, especially pertaining to Iran. And this almost caused a serious friction between Putin and the military; no thanks to Israel's treachery. But here you have some folks who believe that Russia is the enemy when the one that hides behind passenger planes to commit war crimes is genius. What a world we are living in. Yes. No planes and no air force is invisible but some folks believe that when you are Israel, your planes are more stealthy, can jam radars easily, performs better than even the United States in matters of security and is a century ahead of the US in most areas of security and weaponry. These are the kind of thinking that makes the likes of Bibi to look down on the black race as the most inferior of all the races. I really do not blame him. Just like you said, most of these folks in their ignorance don't even know that the greater part of America's involvement in the Middle East is to entrench and consolidate the statehood of Israel. Saying that Israel is greater than America in weaponry and in security is the greatest brainwashed medicine in the history of propaganda. Unfortunately, it is pathetic that people still think this way. . |
MONITZ:Cherry-picking has always been the bane of people with one-sided narrative. This is exactly what I was trying to make him see. When someone else does it, they are terrorists but when it is Israel, you call it genius since they are God's children. |
kemicalreaction:Yeah. The storm of that is already brimming in the Middle East, but the actual spark will come from the Balkans according to Alois Irlmaier's prophecy. |
Whyem15:Exactly that. No more post from me. |
Blacknight28:Your level of ignorance is beyond redemption. Who is talking of Israel warning to USA? Do you even know that Sector 7 went down on a free fall without anything hitting it from the outside? |
Zoharariel:The guy is unbelievably brainwashed and forever wired to be bias due to religion extremism. But when the same Bible speaks what is God's mind, he changed tact by pointing out Hezbollah. I sometimes wonder why can't some people for once THINK for themselves. Maybe if he understand the motto of MOSSAD, he will know a bit more that 9/11 was an inside job. |
Blacknight28:You have lost the discourse already cause you have nothing as rebuttal. You better go and ask God for Mercy now that you know you have been brainwashed to hail the evil of another simply because of religion. You claim to be a Christian but does not even know what your Bible says about the workings of God. Since the Bible have proven you wrong about how God threat His covenant no matter whose horse is gored, the only thing you could see is Hezbollah, as if the IDF airforce that deliberately targeted and kills four children playing football on the beach are better than what Hezbollah does. It is people like you that is the reason why we have the many pastors and churches in Nigeria misleading their populace about God's word. Repent now and refrain from presuming God is unrighteous before He strikes you with one of those curses in Deuteronomy 28: 15-68. You have been warned! KID! |
kemicalreaction:Conspiracy theory my foot! It will interest you to note that BBC reported the collapse of Sector 7 27 MINUTES before it actually happened. Now, how do they know about that? Somebody went off script up there. Even most Americans knew quite well that 9/11 was an inside job. |
Blacknight28:LMAO! So with all the videos evidence on YouTube and witness testimonies you still don't know that 9/11 was an inside job? Brother, you will do well to stay within your league (I don't mean to insult you). |
