What is wrong with some of you Nigerians on this thread?

One moment you were arguing that the arrival of Blackwater mercenaries is a welcome development, someone points out the folly in your assertion and you doubled down that it's okay for them to be invited since Wagner is in some African countries, even when you know Wagner operates based on official invitations from governments of those countries. Even when that useless opinion of yours was shot down, you're now asking if Blackwater is in Nigeria already huh.

This is why some of us just quietly read updates here without making contributions, because you people willfully exhibit ignorance even when it's mighty obvious that your arguments hold no substance.

You're just aimlessly dancing from one unrelated statement to the other, simply because you want to hold up the argument.

Na wa!
I swear,.most times, I don't even read their posts. It is usually devoid of logic and common sense.

Some of them says whatever just to have something to say.

I have never in my life seen such level of uncorrelated and disjointed thought patterns as demonstrated by some on this thread.

To them, nothing matters. Just say something.

Russia's military doctrine differ in scale to that of the US.

One is hell bent on global dominion. The other focuses on securing the periphery of the formal Soviet space.

Hence the choice of weapon design to meet each needs.

FYI, the S-400 is designed to also track and defend against stealth flying objects.

During the thick of the Syrian crisis in 2015-2017, the one the Russians deployed in Syria was "painting" ALL US war planes flying to and from the East of the Euphrates, and that include the F22 Raptor and F35 located in the Icirlik airbase in Turkey.

It was this realization that prompted Turkey to purchase the S-400.

Fearing the proliferation of the System, the US swung into action by introducing CAATSA, a legislation that sanctions any country that buys the S-400 and similar systems.

Stealth is only an edge in terms of modern deployment and over less sophisticated foes.

To add to it. In 2019 Syrian s-200 scored a hit on Israeli F-35 but we were told it was a bird strike that damaged the aircraft over Syria and was unable to fly and was decommissioned by Israel.
The F-35 is more akin to kill its pilot than an actual enemy.

It's the greatest boondoggle of the 21st century.

Objectively speaking, I think American combat aircrafts are ahead of their Russian and Chinese counterparts especially in terms of stealth technology. That's the only major edge they have and who knows, it might all be media hype.

They don't have much to lose by exposing other weapons and the MIC dons have mansions and yachts to buy grin
Don't make me laugh.

Did you say stealth?

Old Soviet Radar systems delivered to Venezuela are already detecting F-35s.

Czech radar systems some years back tracked the F-35 for hours.

Needless to say the Serbs shot down one of the best stealth fighter jets in the US arsenals back in the 90s. And they did it with a very old SAM system.

Stealth tech is only an edge against third world nations and sandal wearing militants.

Heck. Stealth technology was known to the Russians decades before the west came to known of it.

The reason they did not prioritize it was because the task demanded by their military doctrine did not need it.

Even till date, they still don't see the need to go full stealthy with their jets.

Iran has introduced a new type of long range drone called Gaza.

The drone was probably modeled after the US MQ-9 Reaper that Tehran hacked and captured intact few years back over Iranian airspace.

Inflation in Finland. Appleyard abi na Akpu-yard, what's your source.
Learn to think for and by yourself, with proper research, not relying too much on AI.

Since the introduction of sanctions against Russia, Finland has recorded two years of consecutive decline in GDP--1.2% in 2023 and 0 2% in 2024.

Last year, Finland was the worst country in the eurozone in terms of growth, besting only neighboring Estonia.

The back to back recessions which is still ongoing is due primarily to the absence of cheap, raw materials that were flowing freely from the multiple Russian borders.

Russia is Finland's fifth largest trading partner.

When you severe ties with such an important trading partner with no clear alternative in place, a downhill spiral is always the outcome.

As at 1st of September 2025, Finland's inflation rate rose to 2.3%, compared to the 2.2% it were the previous month.

Finland unemployment rate is 10.2% and counting, the highest in northern Europe, and is already forecasted to deteriorate further by 2025 year end.

Last month, Finnish Prime Minister, Petteri Orpo, openly confessed that the slump in economic growth was due to the sanctions war with Russia, which has cost the Nordic country billions of dollars in investment.

Don't tell me you know more than the Prime Minister and their own economic data agencies.

The present crop of European leaders are some of the dumest, I won't lie. European leaders of the late 1800s and throughout the 1900s were super smart. That is why Britain could colonise 1/4 of humanity and Germany could single handedly start World War, while France ruled much of Africa. Spain and Portugal ruled South America and the Caribbean like their personal property.

Today, with woke and weak leaders like Starmer, Macron and German ex Chancellor Scholz, Europe is a shadow of itself. The above three are the worst their countries have seen in modern times. Boris Johnson, Cameron, Le Pen and Angela Merkel, would have done better than those three woke beings ruling Europe's most powerful countries.
As for the Baltic states, don't blame them bro. They've always been weak and absolutly indecisive concerning their welfare. They are torn between Great Russia and US led Western bloc. Don't blame them. If Macron, Starmer and Merz declare peace and restoration of relations with Russia today, those Baltic states will change mouth instantly. Russia understands this, hence, Putin has not even bothered to look their direction. You think Finland or Sweden can give Putin sleepless nights?
The US pulled a dirty but solidly clever economic sabotage on the EU, a major competitor, and the painful part is that, it got the EU to do it.

In just the first year of the war in Ukraine the lights started to go out across Europe as the consequences of cutting off Russian trade and gas began to kick in. The end of cheap Russian energy imports was disastrous, causing an energy crisis but that quickly spilled over into Europe’s economy as the biggest chemical and metallurgical plants ceased to be economically viable and were shuttered. “De-industrialisation” has become the buzzword today. While Europe's loss of economic competitive edge did not begin with the Russian invasion (the problem has been long and well entrenched,) the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the sanctions aftermath puts the nails on the coffin.

Two years ago, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen tasked former Italian Prime Minister and ex-European Central Bank boss Mario Draghi to compile a report on Europe’s competitiveness, which was released September, 2024.

Its conclusions was a bombshell.

Long story short.

Germany, which has been Europe's economic engine room, is now the weakest economy in the G7.

European productivity, which was previously 95% of the US, has seen decline. Today, is less than 80% and keeps falling.

The US and China are now the preferred markets for global financing on tech frontiers that drives future growth; Europe gets only the crumbs.

The downhill spiral list is almost endless. And I don't have all day to kill.

But the reality for Europe, and to an extent, for the US, gets even more pathetic when you realize that, the attempt to 'punish' Russia, out of a myopic and emotionally laden geopolitical view, has not only boomerang on themselves, but has further empowers rival and emerging competitors.

China, whose economy is already growing like a weed on steroid, is now the world's most powerful manufacturing country. Here is a tip.

China's shipbuilding capacity alone is 232 times greater than the US.

The gap between it and Europe has now increased to more than 150 times; thanks to cheap energy that has further boosted that massive capacity. Japan, South Korea complete the list for Asian Pacific markets dominating the shipbuilding sector, leaving Europe and the US trailing miles behind.

If you're a keen geopolitical observer, you will understand how significant and strategic this advantage is. This capacity advantage was what the US brought into WW 2. The ability to mass manufacture ships faster than nazi U-boats could destroy them. Today, the pendulum have swung

China now has that capacity.

We all know what that means in a war time.

To sum up the disaster for Europe, Russia whom they seek to punish is now the manufacturer powerhouse in Europe, beating even Germany. Investment is now pouring into all these facilities as both Russian and China prepare for a possible global war.

No doubt, the sanctions have cost Russia a lot of money, and probably cause it to see long-term stagnation, but it is currently flourishing and one of the fastest growing major economies in the world. Things are going so well that a new war middle class has emerged in Russia who are enjoying a period of unprecedented prosperity.

As for Europe, the reverse is the case.

There is no substitute for 'cheap' in the global world of energy and manufacturing.

But European stupidity did not take this to heart.

The most stupid of all israeli propaganda threads made it to frontpage and I'm not even surprised

The thread claims that the Sumud flotilla had no aid in it. That might have been believable, had the occupants of the said flotilla not documented the journey every step of the way

The people in the flotilla literally recorded the journey and broadcast to the world from inception to interception. They showed the aid they had taken to deliver to Gaza and even documented their daily routine aboard

It's clear that israeli propaganda(hasbara) relies on the stupidity and ignorance of its targets

As for israel claiming there's no aid onboard, it's in keeping with their scum selves to deny the existence of aid, since they've been starving Gaza of aid all along

I personally follow an Irish comedian Tadhg Hickey on YouTube and he was aboard the flotilla. He had personally documented their journey and shown all the supplies they were carrying. He's among those detained by the war criminals
The people who were once victim of a genocide are now the perpetrators.

History has a way of flipping the script.

Weeks back, OkpaNsukkaisBae highlighted the French order to hospitals to prepare for a major war.
Methinks they're setting the stage and priming the population for readiness sake.
Depending on how events like the Iran and Venezuela wars go, they really might attempt to shoot down a Russian jet or some other provocation and spark a war.

The French FM today was asking Hamas to surrender.
They want to wrap up the genocide and proceed with plans on other fronts.
F*ckery is afoot.

You could sense it from Putin's statements yesterday and the increase in pace of Axis deliveries to the various fronts.

Anyone who thinks that modern day Russia need drones to accurately map military sites and infrastructures in Germany or other NATO nations is living in the stone age.

Common sense dictates that Russia already has the coordinates of all NATO critical bases assigned to strategic missiles within the echelon of Russian missile forces.

The elite in the west are vying hard for a reset, and they're preparing the people's mind for that.

The Russians are taking notes and not letting this slides.

Lavrov at the UNGA recently made it clear:

Take down a Russian jet and the response would be instant and decisive.

And they're making this threat clear. Russian warships and subs are now parked closed to strategic NATO borders.

Try nonsense and reap nonsense.

⚡A Russian Ilyushin IL-96-300 just flew from St Petersburg to New York.

Look at the Finnish border. Russia flies around it.

The opposite is the problem. Finnair cannot fly across Russia and so their entire ultra lucrative Asia business is gone.
Finland's case is really pathetic. They're suffocating so much in silence since joining the sanctions war and NATO bloc.

All the cheap basic necessities they were getting via the Russian border is gone. Almost all the businesses in the bordering towns have closed down. Prices of things have tripled.

The airline case is just one example. And is not limited to the Finns alone. Is same story with other European countries that sanctioned Russia. They now spend twice more in flight prices and expenses to get to Asia compared to their Asian counterparts, prompting them to cry 'unfair competition'.

The worst thing that can happen to any country is to have leaders who reason based on emotions as against stark geopolitical and economic realities.

The Euro zone has succeeded in making itself a less competitive bloc to the Asians and the USA. And that gap is growing with each passing day.
