LordAdam16: this starlink killswitch and the afghan deportation is why not one security installation has been seized so far
during the 2019 riots, they were attacking military bases they attacked more than three dozen they've not yet done so according to prelim reports they know after the 12D war, that is an invite to a pogrom
when they were gloating that they had a surprise for iran they were dead serious
let's get this match started the sh*t throwing is getting old
-Lord Remember we said it that, if Netanyahoo is confident enough to restrike Iran again in such a short time and despite the aftermath of 12D, it could only mean one thing: he has a big banker he is relying on on the ground in Iran. Well, we have seen the banker now. It's the riot....the planned color-coded revolution. Ukrainian Maidan style. Unfortunately, things aren't going as planned. The IRGC has upped its counterintelligence ops. I'm really impressed by them on this front. Badge after badge of infiltrators are getting smoked like catfish in Warri market. The chaos and impact they expected keeps becoming a fleeting illusion. So they have switched to an optional narrative: "If we see that the civilians being killed are so much, we will strike," per Donald Trump. The frustration is mounting but Iran don't give a dime. Bring it on and all your bases in the region would be fair game. They too seem to have read the script well. They've been installing defense mechanisms across their bases in the ME. But, just as in the 12D, nothing can stop hypersonics. Just that, on this occasion, Iran will have more big fat targets to strike and the body bags won't just be limited to Israelis. Trump is in for a surprise. Except the US/Israeli banker proves to be a real surprise. |

the venezuelans know the us will not stop probing so they have to maintain the deterrence that has forced the us to avoid boots on the ground and installing the opposition that requires effective counterintelligence

that said, chinese shipbuilders will have multi-year backlogs they have a monopoly on replacing and expanding the shadow fleet

On the other hand, China will definitely have to come up with something. But, I still believe whatever actions they'd take from now onward would be limited to happenings in the Indo-pacific region. If the Americans can chose to do whatever it pleases in the western hemisphere, targeting the interest of other peer powers, China MUST as a matter of precedent and strategic security challenge vehemently the US so-called freedom of navigation in the Indo-pacific region. Two can play the game. Kingsnairaland: Is it not better to capture the ship than to bomb it The Odessa Corridor allows Russia to dictate what comes in or goes out of Ukraine. What is valuable for keep and what is worth destroying. Is the reason why some NATO member states are really pained right now. Russia is dominating the Black Sea at the moment. And it gets worse for the enemies. Russia's new "Artic Route" ambition is yielding fruits with each passing day. Once fully implemented, the route will not only allow Moscow to circumvent the unfriendly western dominated shipping routes via the Suez Canal or the Cape of Good Hope, it will give the Russians the ability to control the massive resources which, according to a 2021 estimate by the Pentagon, the Arctic may contain nearly a third of the world's undiscovered reserves of natural gas, as well as more than a trillion dollars of rare-earth minerals. It will also enabled the Russians to ship goods 60% faster compared to the current shipping routes. This and a few other reasons are why the ongoing war in Ukraine is still raging. Russia must be stopped by all means from tapping and enjoying the resource alone. But, the ship has already sailed. The Russians are working tirelessly and speedily on the northern route. While the EU and NATO keeps throwing all that they can to stall the inevitable, it's just a matter of time, the route keeps getting into shape is already yielding some fruits. Last year September, a Chinese ship guarded by Russian Ice breakers made the journey between the two countries using the exclusive northern artic route. This new route that was only utopian ten years ago has now become a geopolitical reality that proved that both nations can trade without coming under the surveillance of US led acts of piracy and bullying. America can only watch and complain in disbelief. |

Medvedev makes his first public TG post of the year and it is what you'd expect from the mad man
summary of his three points
1. on venezuela, the us is checkmated because it cannot put boots on the ground 2. on sanctions, russia now accepts that the trump administration was playing games and it welcomes the sanctions 3. on the seized ship, let me quote him:
tl:dr; russia should respond to the seizure with a retaliation outside international law
the tsar emeritus made a brusque sign off
told y'all, whatever we say here is a replay of what is being said in the highest corridors of the axis
the message from the americans have been heard loud and clear

look for the kremlin to bring forward a putin visit to beijing time to read the riot act to panda
in any case, the chinese hard liners are in a frenzy and panda's bid to get a fourth term is looking bleak
-Lord On the seized ship, what Med said was what I alluded to in my previous writing that, the US gambit would give other rival state actors the excuse to write their own maritime rules and do the same to enemies ships. Of course, they'd be the ones to enforce them. Since you have no value for international law, don't expect other peer powers to respect them either. OkpaNsukkaisBae: The US under Trump is dangerously escalating tension. Seizing an oil tanker in international water is tantamount to piracy. I wonder how Putin still see them as mediator & are willing to negotiate peace & ceasefire agreement with them.
This is what happens when you don't match escalation with escalation and prefer to play the good/humble guy character. Your adversary/enemy/competitor will take you as a full. From the bombing of fishing boats in Venezuelan waters, I expected Moscow & Beijing to show massive naval solidarity to Caracas. Let's not be on emotional overdrive here. When your enemy is making grave mistakes, allow him the benefit and freedom to navigate himself to a point of no return. By seizing the Russian flagged ship on international waters, the US has given the Russians and others the excuse to write their own Maritime rules and do exactly the same to enemies ships on international waters. In fact, this precedent will come home to haunt the US sooner than later. The Russians have already started doing this quietly in the Black Sea via its control of the Odessa Corridor. Trump is a danger to international order because of his emotional responsiveness. If Putin and Xi were like that, this world would have gone up in flames. There are ways you deal with such people without hurting everyone else. About 23 senators from his own party are already demanding his resignation. He currently has the worst cabinet of any presidency in American history. His emotions will eventually kill his political reign. Let's chill. The axis will have their own pound of flesh. |

Simeonjoe1: Y
Undoubtedly Trump plan in capturing Maduro is absolutely reckless. It so surprising how US do this without loss of some life's. For Trump to go ahead and do this when realistically this can claim the lives of few GI shows how reckless he can be. And this have little strategic importance than just boss show off (maybe I'm wrong).
But daring Chinese to carry out similar move is so dumb an idea. Not even the US with this might would do something similar if Taiwan is a foe. People fail to realize how strategically powerful Taiwan is and with a strategic allies like the US. The war won't end well for China, not even a win will feel like victory. What's the strategic importance of China annexing Taiwan? What do they want from Taiwan that they don't have? They want to risk it all just to prove to the world that China bites and not all talks?
Mind you realistically speaking there's no how China will attack Taiwan without first hitting US bases nearby in Guam and Okinawa cause these are strategically placed to respond to cases like this especially in the early stage of any invasion. So to increase any chance of success they'll have to carry our the pear Harbour approach, which itself is a direct declaration of war against US and Japan. Now why will China risk a WW3? for what, Stupid emotions because the US is running wild around the world? Watin concern them and US?
Many of you guys lack tactical thinking and just work off emotions thats why you're not leaders See you in accusing others of tactical thinking deficiency when from your own warp assertions and jingoistic purview you can't even see the geopolitical abyssal hellhole the emotionally driven and covetous dump Trump regime has dug for itself ditto Venezuela. I won't even bother to take you up on that front. Let the events as they unfold in Caracas and beyond be the 2by3 that slap sense on your head. You are not even ashamed that your glorified leader of the free world is a common thief, kidnapper, and pirate. It's your call anyway. On the Taiwan issue, your post reeks of sheer ignorance and severe fundamental misunderstandings of historical facts, international law, and strategic/geopolitical reality. Here are some clear legal facts and logical reasoning you should humbly educate yourself on: 1. In terms of Sovereignty and International Law, Taiwan has been an inalienable part of China's territory since ancient times. This is both legal and historical fact, recognized by the overwhelming majority of countries through the One-China Principle, which is the bedrock of diplomatic relations with China. United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2758 (1971) unequivocally recognizes the representatives of the Government of the People's Republic of China as the only legitimate representatives of China to the UN, expelling the representatives of the Taiwan authorities. There is no ambiguity—Taiwan is not a country; it is a part of China. 2. On the area of Strategic Importance, your question is, "What do they want from Taiwan that they don't have?" You didn't just miss the point entirely, you bare your ignorance to the rest of the public. The issue is not about acquiring resources but about upholding national sovereignty and territorial integrity—a core interest of any nation. Any nation would go to war if need be to defend its territory and sovereignty. The reunification of the motherland is a sacred mission for the Chinese nation. Furthermore, Taiwan holds immense strategic significance for China's national defense, acting as a crucial link in the first island chain. Its separation is a historical legacy that must be resolved. 3. In terms of using Force vs Peaceful reunification, China's primary approach has always been peaceful reunification under the "One Country, Two Systems" framework, as seen in the case with Hong Kong and Macao. The commitment to peace is unwavering. However, the right to use all necessary means, including force, is universally reserved by all sovereign states against secessionist activities. This is a right of self-defense, not aggression. The hypothetical scenario of a "Pearl Harbor approach" is a reckless and inaccurate projection. China's military strategy is defensive in nature. But, if you think that, in the face of constantly changing geopolitical realities, especially with competing peer powers pushing beyond the limit to change the calculus against China and put her at a disadvantage, and China will not act decisively, I can only say one thing; you're living in an alternate reality. 4. You even assumes automatic and unlimited US military involvement, which further shows how myopic and simplistic you create assumptions. US involvement in Taiwan today is purely out of fear, desperation, and bitterness of one single realization: it has lost economic supremacy to China. China now out manufacture the US on every scale and sense of the word. Even in some key military areas, the US is currently trailing China, and with each passing day, that gap keeps widening. What is happening now in Venezuela is the US lashing out trying to stall the Chinese whichever way it could. But, this tactics is not only shortsighted, but will hasten its own demise on the long-run on many fronts. Everyone is taking notes. Even her own allies are staring in disbelief. Uncle Sam is boxing itself into a bleak reality that will soon dawn on her. If the US keep pushing and gets to the limit of China's tolerance, bros, dem go collect. Make no mistake about it. A conventional war between the US and China in the Indo-pacific would be like child abuse. I see that this Maduro's stunt has gone over the heads of most of you NVBs here. This was the same US that ran away from the Red Sea peppered by the Houthis and begged Iran for a ceasefire in just 12 days. If China strikes Taiwan today, the US would be the first to evacuate its surrounding bases and staffs. And no, China doesn't need to attack Japan or anyone else first before taking out Taiwan. You're just reasoning upside down. Don't bother replying. I want to follow what's going on in Caracas. |

bryght4u: So much emotion-laden posts since Trump announced the kidnapping of Maduro. Most of you guys here whether NVBs, Pro-Axis or the fence-seaters could really do with a chilled drink.
The US acted like the thug she always is - no surprises here. Has anything changed materially on the ground in Caracas - no!
The coming days would reveal a lot. And, if the US was so sure of a swift victory and installing her puppet, they'd have leveled Caracas by now to pave the way for ground forces to move in and finish the job. The fact that they're blockading Venezuela with an armada of vessels with 15k troops on board but still seem hesitant to move in says everything any clear-headed person should hear that this thing no too sure for them. Trump can trump all he likes; Rubio can lamba and make us question our understanding of syntax and semantics of the English language, its still of little use and hasn't changed anything on the ground.
Patience, my people, patience.
Yesterday was 3rd; today is 4th January. There are still 361 days left in 2026. We will know more as events unfold before our very eyes.
For those of you lambasting Putin let me ask you a question: Please leave your emotions out of it and use your mind to think: how does taking out Zelensky in the first 1hr of the war on 22nd February 2022 facilitate the outcomes the Russians have always wanted? The Russians have always wanted the freedom of the Donbass; the rights of all other Russian-speaking regions of Ukraine to be respected; Ukraine staying neutral and not having NATO on the doorsteps of Moscow. Now tell me how kidnapping Zelensky and whisking him to St. Petersburg to go face criminal charges would've helped achieve any of the aforementioned objectives?
The West would've just installed another puppet and continued with arming of Ukraine. The idea was to prop up Ukraine and use her to weaken Russia so they can then move in for the kill.
Putin is perhaps the smartest and most intelligent president we have today on the planet today. The Russians are long-term planners, especially concerning geopolitics. If they were just 10% as emotional as some of us here, they wouldn't have been able to amass approximately 11.5% of Earth's landmass as theirs! I mean they once fought Sweden for more than 20yrs and took St. Petersburg! They lost more than 20M persons - both military personnel and civilians - during WW2 but still chased Hitler all the way back to Berlin, a victory that ultimately led the end of WW2! They once set Moscow ablaze just to trap Napoleon! I mean just think about that, guys!
You guys should cut these guys some slack abeg!
The strategy of draining the West has worked tremendously. Europe is dead. The US has resorted to outright thuggery to see if she can prop up herself and not collapse under her own weight of debt. The US has her sight on 300B barrels of Venezuelan oil as she thinks she could use that to settle her debt crisis. The European weapons storehouses are empty. De-dollarisation is on course, though not as swift as we'd have loved but everything that's been worthwhile did take some time to come to fruition! The Russians are on fulltime war economy. And in case you guys haven't realized it yet, a wartime economy is sometimes a blessing in disguise. Putin is ready for a showdown with NATO whenever he settles the Ukraine SMO.
The Chinese can and should do more but Xi has his eyes on countering the US in the Indo-Pacific FIRST and winning outrightly there, and then take the fight all the way across the Pacific to the US mainland. Its called being FOCUSSED! We may not love Xi's approach to geopolitics but each leaders' approach have their own merits.
China has prepped for whenever the US and her gang of terrorists bring their terrorism close to her home. China has Japan, Philippines and South Korea, to an extent, to contend with and is prepared for when the US provokes her using Taiwan (Taiwan will definitely be used and it'll be rather foolish of them to play Ukraine 2.0 knowing how it is going for Ukraine at the moment).
You guys need a break. Get off this thread. Go outside. Take off your shirts and take in the evening breeze. Take a walk. Clear heads and minds so you can process all of these happenings rationally.
As for the NVBs, I love y'all - a weak man must earn his wages by whatever means. Even if that "means" entails selling his birthright for a morsel of bread! |

We haven't seen the end of this yet.
How they plan on running the country is what will determine what comes next on the chessboard.
