Jens Stoltenberg called the demonstration of NATO equipment in Moscow a hybrid aggression by Russia!

“Everyone knows that the North Atlantic Alliance is not a party to the conflict, but the demonstration of equipment in Moscow creates the impression of not only NATO’s participation in the conflict, but also the defeat of the alliance in this conflict.

Russia should not demonstrate equipment as if they had already won.”

What happened to the 200,000 Russian troops and hundreds of military equipments that were deployed to Belarus in the early stages of the war? 🤔

Or the over 50,000 Wagner troops moved to Belarus?

Hmmmm. Russia has something grand planned for Ukraine. Like I always say, time will tell.
The presenunce of Russian troops in Belarus serves two purposes.

First, to keep the vast Ukrainian troop in the south pinned down, and unable to deploy enmass to the east side.

Secondly, they strategically checkmate potential NATO overt incursions into the Ukrainian theatre through Romania.

It's a game of chess.

⚡The European Union on Monday frustrated Ukraine’s urgent plea for more air defence capabilities by failing to come up with concrete commitments at a meeting of foreign and defence ministers.

“We can prevent the worst-case scenarios if we act together and without fear. We need concrete and bold decisions today,” Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told his EU counterparts via videolink.

“Now that you are all here at the table, it’s time to act, not to debate.”

Ukraine has asked for seven additional US-made Patriot air defence systems capable of shooting down Russia’s hypersonic missiles — but is keen to get any help it can.

So far only Germany has answered Kyiv’s call by saying it would send an extra Patriot system to Ukraine.

Several EU nations possess the systems, including Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain and Sweden.
Patriots SAM shooting down hypersonic missiles when they can't even shoot down ordinary KH-101 cruise missiles is the fattest rambling of the year. cool

Nairaland will never cease to amuse me.

Let's go down a bit.
You're an individual on a faceless forum called nairaland, with the moniker Tiopii.
I can easily tell you're not the best at what you do nor studied in school in the community you're from.
That simple means you're not the most significant figure in your community, nor local government, nor state, nor in your country Nigeria. But you called a Russian project insignificant.

The same country that lunched the first space rocket into space.
The first country to put a satellite in space.
The first country to put a human in space.
The first country to put an animal in space.
The country that built the largest submarine in the world.

The country that produces the most engineers in the world.
In case you've forgotten, Russia brought about the following.
• The periodic table
• Bycicyles
• Solved the Poincare Conjecture, a major contribution to mathematics
• Created the equations that were used to calculate radar cross sections which gave birth to stealth technology.
•They invented the screw drive elevator, which helped produce the modern passenger elevator.
• Electric Rocket Motor
• LED
•Lunokhod 1- first space rover on Moon
• Radio receiver
•AC Transformer
•First Artificial Heart
Do you want me to continue?
You're not even a significant entity neither is your country to the world, but you're fast to claim a battery powered submarine is insignificant.

Mind you, Russia is the most innovative country in the world when it comes to military technology.

Battery powered submarine is not insignificant.
Knockouts. cool

It's a pity All that money could only slow Russia but can't stop her. In the next 2 or 3 months they will be asking for another aid package
Ukrainian authorities said last year that the total weapons given by the EU and the US to Ukraine is more than enough to fight a war against any other nation in the world, bur not enough to wage war and come out victorious against Russia. cool

In other words, they knew Russia cannot be defeated by them and Europe put together.

But for the money, they're still in the game doing their master's bidding.

⚡Russia is producing the newest Amur E600 submarine powered by lithium-ion batteries and a small diesel generator as a backup. It has a displacement of only 600 tons and it can stay underwater for up to 17 days due to the use of lithium-ion batteries.

In comparison, the conventional diesel-electric submarine can stay underwater for about 2 days, and then simply has to surface to recharge the batteries and replace the air. As a result, it need to unmask yourself.

The new submarine can hide under water for 2-3 weeks without surfacing.
From Russia with love. cool

Who told you that it was seven generals? Do you guys ever bother to read beyond what you see on reports titles?

Israel wouldn't be able to do jackshit if Iran were to kill an IDF general outside the territory of Israel. They'd be forced to either do a symbolic retaliation like what Iran did or start a war that they'd certainly lose unless their Western lapdogs come to their aid. Ordinary Hezbollah has been penetrating their defenses for 6 months now

That was the price at which they sold to Russia, but their cost of production is about $20k. Iran spent less than $100m for the attack while Israel spent 5 billion Shekels
Russia never bought a single unit of Shaheed for $196k. That was a lie the guy was just cooking. Maybe he was trying to say an entire fleet of drones.
Foreign AffairsRe: Sky News: Iran Successfully Hit Israel With 7 Ballistic Missiles by Appleyard(m):
OfficialAPCNig:
Story.

Shaheed Kamikaze drone is sold to Russia at the rate of $196k per unit.

The funny thing is Israel is even the global leader in drone technology. Only Israel controls 60% of the ME market share.

Research how Israeli drones helped Azerbiajan defeat Russian-backed Armenia last year
Russia did not back Amenia in the Nargono-Karabahk war. Get your facts right. cool

And Shaheed drone is not even up to $25k talkless of $196k per unit. Guy, stop pulling facts from thin air. cool
Foreign AffairsRe: Sky News: Iran Successfully Hit Israel With 7 Ballistic Missiles by Appleyard(m): 2:20pm On Apr 18, 2024
OfficialAPCNig:
Iran launched over 180 kamikaze drones, 170 ballistic missiles, and 30 cruise missiles.

Nearly $2 billion were spent to fire them.

Who told you Iranian suicide bombs cost $2,000? Iranians are selling those drones at $196k to Russia.

😂😂😂😂
Iran did not launch 170 ballistic missiles. Where did you get that from? cool

The drones are more easier to intercept considering they are slower, and flying from such a long distance with many borders to cross. So, it's a plausable argument that the drones were more of a distraction l to increase the chances of the cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, which came last in the volley. The speed at which those missiles struck their targets lend credence to the argument that Iran intentionally carried out the attack that way.

Whatever, I hope saner heads prevail.

I don't really get it for some of you guys. These are indigenously produced drone but our own PhD holders are gulping laws of thermodynamics up and down without doing anything with them.

Give it to those Persians. Not everyone can stand up to the might of USA
You're right. Many people are just looking at the damage cause per the volume of deployment without considering the significance of the attack itself.

What Iran has done is "setting a precedent" for future occurrences. The strike entails that, from henceforth, any such direct attack by the IDF on Iranian targets would be met with a counter attack, something that has not been the case in time past. There is a reason the US and other allies are pressuring Israel not to retaliate. Iran has proved that it can slice through what has been known as the most densest air defense coverage in the world.

A second strike would be more devastating than this because Israel won't have the luxury of a 12-days notice to prepare and call in their allies to support their defense.

Write off Iran to your own peril.
