A confirm mumu you are. Russia still controls 75% of kherson oblast. This is a police operation. NATO won't last 10 seconds in a real war with Russia. You are so stupid and brainwashed to help yourself from the dumbness inflicted on your brainwashed brain
So many simpletons here mistook Kherson centre city for the entire Kherson Oblast/region. You can't blame them for being poor thinkers incapable of researching for themselves, but preferring to swallow western cherry-pick propanganda. cool

Babies are too much on this thread, this putin fans are not even ashamed that a world power can take over a country and its been forced out of some regions, this is not Iraq or Afghanistan war whereby some factors made the USA pull out after taking over the two countries, Russia could not even get to Kiev, the seat of power, that's a disgrace to you putin fans... You guys should not be masturbating on people dying on the two sides.
You are even worst than the so-called kids you accused up there. Your summation is so myopic and clouded with emotions.

That article is only on paper and for weak countries that NATO can bully. The United States ambassador to NATO was interviewed few minutes on CNN concerning this and the man said they don't want to escalate the Ukraine crisis beyond Ukraine. It's gonna be nuclear and United States will never risk her own existinction because of Ukraine. Russia has the highest and most sophicated nuclear warheads ahead of all. Europe will never be so stupid to experience war in their continent. The attack in Poland and Kiev just proved how useless the United States air defense shield is.
At the bolded. Even the Jews have lambasted the US defense systems as unreliable. It also remind me of what one Russian General said when asked about the US so called missile shield in Romania.. His replied was that, in the event of an all out war, "we we take care of it with ONE missiles." cool

If truly this was a Russian missile strike, then I'm afraid to say that it wasn't just a stray, but probably an intended warning. And the people that matters got the message already.

Darker days ahead but not in the way the kids here are envisaging it. With Russia, the equation changes rapidly.

Now, it’s time for Poland to declare war on Russia Abi is that not what Poland have been shouting since the war began in February.

Even though those rockets look more Ukraine def systems malfunction or who know maybe it’s Russia missiles.

Poland have been making noises on behalf on NATO since.

We are waiting to see articles 5, they have been screaming on our ears.

The region of Poland between Rzezsow and the potentially hit village of Przewodów by a missile or drone… was under tight surveillance by NATO and polish army today.
Where was the NATO def system doing?
It's unbelievable seeing and reading some of the comments here...

Missiles do go off course, and that could have been Ukrainian misfiring SAMs either. It's funny how the kids here are reacting to this emotionally. cool One even said Article 5 would be involved. grin

The handlers of the the Ukrainian offensive attack in the Kherson direction should be hanged. How can you keep pushing men to go forward in a suicide mission even when they keep dying by the hundreds? undecided It's unbelievable.

Even some western news outlets are now questioning this arrant stupidity, and some have put the Ukrainian losses at close to 300,000 since the start of the SMO.

Stop twisting news, this are just cruise Missile
Russia currently can't procure the guidance chip for new Missiles, that's why they are lookin up to Iran for their kamikaze drones
Either Russia is Winning or not
They planned a 3days special operation to kyiv
But failed exclusively
And to those saying Russia is fighting against NATO
that's very wrong
Because weapons being given to Ukraine by NATO
States are very old and outdated and its what they can risk loosing
The West has a whole lot of New Tech even regular army don't know about them
You're the one actually twisting the natrative. You sound more like a troll than one who knows what he is talking about. Where did Russia said they planned a 3-days war to Ukraine? Even the US have said that Russia prepares for a long-term war on Ukraine.

And who told you Russia can't get the so-called guidance chips for their missiles? Do you even know how these markets work? How is Iran able to produce its missiles then even when under sanctions? You should first understand how the chips market work before jumping to conclusions. We are talking about same Russia that just launch a secretive satellite into orbits, satellites that uses lots of guidances chips and systems. Some of you could be funny. cool

Russian missile stockpile is way larger than what you folks swallowing cheap western propanganda chose to believe. The ediotic British intelligence have been saying that Russia ran out of missiles since February, and what are we seeing today? undecided

The choice of buying and using Iranian drones is a matter of convenience than lack. Why waste precious missiles like the Iskanders or Kalibr when you can get a $20,000 dollar drone or cheaper missiles to do same damage on static targets like electricity and power grids? Even the Ukrainians and Americans understand this strategy and they're frustrated by it because for the Ukrainians, it means an endless funnel for Russian ability to continue striking targets reliably while for the Americans, it means a drain on their own weapon storage and frustration of their plans to get Russian drained, wearied and weakened militarily, economically and politically. There is a reason why the Republicans no longer wants a blank check for Ukraine because they knew that at this rate, it's practically unsustainable. The only area of shortcoming on the Russian side is in manpower. They need more men capable of holding on to the frontlines stretched across the large terrain they currently hold.

And yes, they're fighting NATO howbeit in covert form.
Foreign AffairsRe: Gov. by Appleyard(m): 12:18am On Oct 20, 2022
troops that the Ukies are sending into the meat grinder in front of Kherson, are indeed those "Territorial Defense" brigades. Those five units consist almost to a man of conscripts, dragged and dragooned off the streets and clubs (even beaches) of Ukrainian cities. They are given a quick change of clothes and if fortunate are handed a rifle and then are sent into Slaughterhouse V.

Low levels of morale are de rigeur. Only thing keeping them moving into the teeth of the mill are those "Nationalist" police battalions which "back them up" by shooting those who attempt to retreat. Most of those poor slobs could care less about killing Russians in order to keep them from liberating ethnic Russians from the U$$A and NATOstani controlled puppet regime in Kiev.

Those guys are neither motivated, nor stupid. If these individuals can overcome their personal existential fear, the most intelligent thing they can do would be to talk it over with the rest of their comrades and then turn those weapons on the "enforcers" to their rear and then surrender en masse to the Russian defenders of their homeland's people.

Stop crying wolf Russia is not targeting any civilian. Any death in this case is 'collateral damage's, a term invented by the west. The low number of civilian casualty in the current Russian bombing indicates that Russia is targeting mainly military installations and infatsructure which will reduce the ability of Ukraine to wage war. This is what NATO would have done since day one with a higher casualty rate. Even western media is surprised that civilian casualties are not higher.

Russia is being too kind on Ukraine. The people of Iraq did not have this luxury. Bomb the entire place to shreds.
Exactly. People are just too emotional to see and admit reality. If this was US and its Nationalized American Terrorist Organization (NATO), no building would be standing Kiev right now. Frankly, the Russian leniency is becoming stupidity to some points.

I've got a question. The US has long range AWACS operating outside Ukraine airspace. They are able to pick Russia movements, airborne crafts, missile launches.
Are they passing that data to Ukraine ground troops . If they are then NATO is fighting Russia, the awacs component is a very strong force multiplier
That's exactly what they have been doing since the start of th war.

As much as I hate this war, I really wish Ukraine can somehow take back Kherson main city. It will not only spite the Russians but force it to take off the kids gloves and end this war quickly. If a small attack on Crimea can force them to up the ante against Ukrainian Infrastructure, I wonder what losing the newly annexed Kherson city and it's entire area would do to its prestige and reaction. Its funny that something big have to happen all the time for Russia to react more aggressively. I simply do not understand this mindset.

Uprightness100:
According to reports in Ukraine, the Ukrainian army has concentrated up to 70,000 of its troops and reservists (by force) along the northern border with Belarus, to defend Kyiv.

The Belarusian army was positioned on the front line in great strength, including armor, artillery and a very large infantry force. If it invades, Kyiv is in danger, and even if he does not invade, it is an asset to the Russians, because these Ukrainian soldiers are grounded to the northern front, and will not be able to help on other fronts. The Russians thereby split the Ukrainian army.

(Guy Bechor)
It's same tactics they used in the early days of the war when that huge Russian military column got to the outskirts of Kiev and just stood there doing practically nothing. They succeeded in pinning down the large Ukie forces in Kiev which paved the way for the success they recorded in the East. Russia was never interested in taking Kiev; only kids don't understand the tactical play here.

‘We want respect’: Putin’s authority tested in Central Asia

Former Soviet republics are increasingly standing up to Moscow as Russia under Western sanctions looks to their markets.

Sensing that Russia has been weakened by its war in Ukraine, some of its closest allies in Central Asia are displaying a newly assertive streak.

The region’s five former Soviet republics are increasingly standing up to Moscow, aware of their new-found leverage as Russia looks to their markets and trade routes in a bid to circumvent Western sanctions.

The new dynamic was strikingly illustrated when Russian President Vladimir Putin ran into a seven-minute tirade from the leader of Tajikistan, one of the region’s smallest and poorest countries, at a summit in Kazakhstan last week.

“We want RESPECT. Nothing else. Respect,” said Emomali Rahmon, Tajikistan’s president since 1994, complaining that Moscow’s attitude had not improved since the Soviet era

Putin listened uncomfortably. A video of the embittered speech surfaced at the weekend and was not part of the official coverage of the October 14 summit
In deed, this is what any sane thinking nation would do; seize the opportunity to get something profitable and rewarding at the end. Unlike our useless leaders in Africa who can't use this golden opportunity to cash out big time in the area of gas and other minerals to Europe.

However, per the formal Soviet States now so-called standing up to Moscow, once any little trouble erupts within their enclave, they will still waste no time in running back to Moscow for help. That's the reality. So. I don't understand the noise making.

And gambo quoted the thread owner.
You can't isolate the drones aspect of the embargo. The reason for the discussion (i.e. between Uprightheous and gambo) was the damage the drone were causing.

I am sure, if uprightheous had not mentioned drone, gambo would not have quoted the post.

As at now, the West are claiming that the embago of the UN 2231 doesn't expire until 2023 and are looking to impose further sanctions on Iran.
We are just repeating same thing over and over again. Let's just forget it. Meanwhile, the fact remains that whether the embargo has expired or would soon expire, Iranian weapon sales have come to stay because no UNSC resolution of placing further embargo would stick without Russia and China agreeing to it, and we already know the answer to that. That leaves the US and its NATO allies to put out their own embargo which would only amount to mere academic exercise aside from the of members keeping to it.
