People keep calling GEJ clueless,to me the man is the best strategist ever. Now it's very clear that APC has lost the element of surprise and PDP will now exercise the power of incumbency. |

ekolina: I think she can afford the life style. Remember she worked in shell for more than 25years and rose to the rank of an executive director(the first female executive director in shell), she has been minister for more than six years, her husband is a retire rear admiral and former chief of defense staff and ambassador. Her father is a high chief in Bayelsa.......so she can afford the lifestyle without touching govt fund Abeg help me educate all dis Apc apologists that just comment without checking the information properly. She's rich, she comes from a rich family and married a wealthy man. I don't see reasons why she can't enjoy her wealth, just because she's a minister of the FRN. |

Ijaws have nothing to loose if a war starts in Nigeria. Igbo lives must not be used as sacrifice to please an Ijaw man.
Ndi Igbo, kpa cha unu anya!! The igbos have always been cowards and backstabbers that's why Biafra was a failure. The Ijaws are peaceful people, the ramblings of a few doesn't make the entire race war thirsty. |

Mynd44: You guys claim there is an agricultural revolution right? Why is the prices of foodstuff going up and not down? What sort of economics do you follow?
You claim Nigeria is divided in ethno-religious terms but who started it? What was the biggest problem under Yar Adua? Rule of law
How did it jump to Ethno-religious politics?
You people forget that the people who marched for GEJ to be sworn in as president after his principal died are those who are against him. How did that happen? You think they are being tribal or something else is wrong? The increment in price of foodstuff is relative to the devaluation of the Naira and inflation due to the fall in oil price. |
Politics › Re: Fashola Accuses FG Of Diverting SURE-P Money by April4th(m): 9:08pm On Jan 25, 2015 |
K taharqa: By the way, Fashola na scam. He is just saying this to divert attention from ongoing questions on how he has spent his own portion of the SURE-P fund.
The FG receives just 41% of the total SURE-P funds, while most of the rest 51% go to States and las. While we can point at very visible projects that the FG uses its own portion of, smone should tell me what Fashola and most other States have used their own for??
PS: SURE-P (federal) , like You in, is one of the programs of this Gov that has work. Anybody with an opposing view can take me up on this, as long they are also willy to tell me what their State Govts have done with their own portion of the fund You're very correct,it's the same SURE-P that is financing the East-West road that's nearing completion. |

Politics › Re: Mass Exodus Hits Hausa (northern) Community In Bayelsa State by April4th(m): 6:43pm On Jan 25, 2015 |
barcanista: I want to appeal to the Northerners in the SS to remain calm and be assured that there is no cause for alarm. As long as they respect the laws of the land, no harm will befall them. They should disregard the rant of Dokubo, he's an empty coward. The Ijaws are never known to attack strangers in their land without provocation, we are not known to play tribalistic politics, we are not known to take up arms against non indigens because of politics. I assure everyone that the Spirit of Ijaw will never allow such violence that is alien to the Ijaw nation. There is no cause for alarm.
Quote me after the election. Abei what are you talking about? The Ijaw Nation has grown wiser by the day. If anybody harms an Ijaw man/woman/child anywhere in Nigeria,be sure there must be a retaliation. Example Ijaw VS Itsekiri crisis in Delta State. I know you're speaking from ur base in Lagos or Abuja, try to visit the creeks, then you'll know the true position of the Ijaw Nation. |

When you see photos GEJ and Amaechi tomorrow playing tennis, do not choke on your drink or calling it a photoshop, believe it to be real. You saw OBJ, GEJ & PEJ playing happy families recently at their daughters wedding. I thought it would had been an eye opener for many by now? The first true comment i have seen on NL for some time now,you a`re so very correct. They are all birds of same feather, shey be most of the APC strongmen now are former PDP members.
