Except she's widowed or a victim of rape (I still wouldn't though), NEVER EVER DATE A SINGLE MUM. Single Moms are Single Moms because they're bad decision makers and let their emotions lead them into a bad situation. Bad Decision Making is the worst trait a woman could ever have. Also, there is no woman more manipulative than a Single Mom. Once the kid comes and she realizes just how hard it is to raise it alone, or the fact that her MMV has gone down compared to single ladies without kids, her female manipulative skills goes into overdrive. Just like in the Op's case, in the beginning they will go out of their way to keep you by providing you with an unlimited supply of great sex, pay for their own drinks when on a date, prepare home cooked meals, and everything that you think you want in a woman. Every word, every act, every moment has a million implications behind it. And once you finally get to meet the kid(s), you will very slowly be maneuvered into a parental role. Then after a few months things begin to change but by then you are so caught up in her life to realize that you are just a pawn. You begin to get all the baggage and none of the rewards for your sacrifice. You'll always comes second (and rightly so) to her kid. You will be a de-facto dad with all of the risks and little reward like never really being appreciated by the child. If you say nothing is wrong with this, ask yourself this, would she be willing to fall in behind your kids from another woman? Never make a woman number one in your life when the best you're going to place is behind her kids. Now don't get this wrong. I love kids and bond well with them. Most guys do. But with kids from a single mom you intend to or are in a relationship with, it's a different thing entirely. If the relationship doesn't work out or you guys have an issue, she'll bad mouth you to the kid(s) and make it seem you abandoned them also like the man they wanted to have the kid with. You just don't want to get yourself in all that mess. Again, more often you can't correct the kid as the only authority you have over the kids is comes from the mother. You'll hear comments from her like "He's not your kid, Don't touch him or don't correct him like that". You'll simply be looking after Someone else's child to other peoples standards. And then, there's having the child biological dad (and possibly his family members) to deal with. He'll always be in your lives. Once, my group of friends went on a picnic. A single mum and her son were with them. A younger friend and member of the group posed with her son and uploaded the pictures on Facebook. The child's dad (another friend of mine) saw the pictures and called this guy to warn and threaten him not to dare take pictures of his son again nor upload such on SM. Now this is someone who's not even in the child's live and had been actually physically abusive to the child's mum which led to the eventual collapse of their relationship. My younger friend had to call me to explain what happened and to talk to this other guy that he had no interest in the girl which was the hidden intent for the threat. And don't forget Okafor's law. More often than believable, single moms always end up under the father of their child again and again, perhaps with the believe it can still work out between them. |
QuotaSystem:Hello boss, sent you a mail. |
QuotaSystem:Alright. Thanks |
Something tells me it's all part of the plans of the Governors to disenfranchise as much people as they can in the SE. I mean, the fuel scarcity would force a lot of people to sit at home or by preventing or discouraging them from travelling to their villas or LGAs to vote (i.e for those not registered in their city/town of residence) Might be wrong though, but I see no reason for the fuel scarcity |
Last355:You're welcome |
Last355:Lol.. TBS is not a stadium per say. Na parade ground o. Like Eagle square for Abuja. So the floor os made of concrete rather than planted grasses which can be found at the other end from the main square. |
This one just wan use APC shine. Oga, your trial started long before APC was even conceived. APC was formed just 5 years ago, yet you're claiming you would have escaped a trial that lasted 11 years if you had joined APC.. Your former colleague Jonah Jang even after joining APC was still sent to jail, so if anything to learn from your case is that the government didn't intervene in both yours and Jonah's case. That you were set free shows how messed up our judiciary is. After all Ibori was freed by a Nigerian court both nailed by a British court. So tell us another story Oga. |
Learnt a new terminology reading this. Pincer attacks |
naptu2:Hello Naptu, I'll like to send you a mail to seek your opinion about an issue. |
Fake news as usual from Eastern telegraph.. I clicked the link to get full details but all I saw was Supreme court said, supreme court said... No single mention of the name of the Judge or panel of judges. |
I used to think people calling you an old man who takes delight in spreading falsehood were just being mischievous, but with this thread, I now confirm you're nothing but a despicable reprobate not known for any goodness. I've been traversing that same route since as a kid till now that I now drive through it and I can tell you never in the history of that road has it had this much attention from any government than now. Taking pictures of a section not yet fixed doesn't change what's on ground because I also drove through it last month. Any honest person would tell you work is still going on, on the right lane i.e Awka to Ninth Mile, reducing travel time from Osha to Enugu. And it is being founded by Sukut bond which is stated there. And unlike before, most drivers no longer bother passing through Orji River route (i.e though FRSC training centre). If you had stated the work is slow, I would have said you are right, but taking a picture of the section abandoned by PDP for 16 years despite loyalty of the East, 3 Senate presidents and Deputy Senate president shows how dishonest you are. Even Ameachi as Rivers governor didn't wait for the FG when he dualized and reconstructed PH airport through Elele up to the boundary with Imo state, yet Enugu and Anambra states have been waiting for the FG to fix that short distance. |
Onnoghen believed Wike that they'll use militants to threaten PMB. Lol. This Bureau de change man will be used as the perfect scape goat in the war against corruption and will end up behind bars before he'll realize his error of not stepping down immediately the allegations against him were made. At least he probably would have been allowed to go and enjoy his "forgotten" dollars without all these drama. It was simply silly not to know the FG had plenty dirt on him already. He never "esperedit" that PMB will use "mago-mago" and pull the rug from under his feet. As for Paul Usoro, your time is coming. You must account for your crimes and vomit Akwa Ibom billions |
Not from Delta and have little or no idea of their politics. But I read this thread up until this point because 90% of the contributors (i.e both the proposing and opposing sides) have been civil towards one another. A big kudos to y'all for this. Nairaland deserves to be at par with the likes of Reddit but only with such civil engagements |
On the contrary, it was a palace coup. Onnoghen was outdone by members of the NJC and the Judiciary who all belong to a different caucus. They probably knew he was gonna postpone the meeting of the NJC indefinitely and their plan was to get the CCT fella to issue that order for his suspension knowing fully PMB would act on it. Y'all should forget the fact that all but one supreme court judge turned up for the swearing in of the 250 judges for the post-election tribunal, some of them in cohort with others outside the supreme court agreed to and are part of this whole thing. |
Damn. Some people no go sleep well today.. They've been waiting, praying and hoping for the militants to start bombing oil installations, but the same militants are now praising PMB.. ![]() |
Do you have any of Sony Xperia xz, xz premium or xz2? |
RIP to them. 30 PDP supporters lost their lives in an accident in Benue. We all condoled with their families. Nobody mocked their death. APC in it's capacity as their opposition condoled with he PDP and the families of their members who died. The APC also encouraged political parties to ensure adequate safely measures are put in place in these campaigns and safe driving should be practiced. We moved on. But when unfortunate events like these happens to their fellow humans and country men, you see PDP e-rats gloating all over cyberspace at their deaths just because they support a different party called APC. This is what hate does. It makes one lose all sense of empathy and humanity. Shame on y'all |
Lol.. Very Scanty. Unlike PMB's campaign where people troop out in their numbers to welcome him, PDP's campaign is always filled with people adorning one campaign uniform or the other which shows they were rented. Again, we can safely assume everyone in this stadium is hungry and jobless.. Because according to wailers, PMB campaign is filled with jobless people as no employed person would leave his office or place of work to see campaigning politicians. Which will be very surprising because wailers want us to believe everyone in the East is a millionaire and don't depend on politicians stipends to survive. Op, Tetlow abi Stadium road Owerri is always busy, even small keke accident is bound to cause traffic jam, so we ain't fooled by pictures of cars. |
ghettochild:E go stay o. Dunno honestly |
viktor88:No sir |
introvertme:E don finish sef. Lol |
pwetie:You have a point too. One just have to look for a buyer like restaurants and be their supplier. |
ghettochild:I'm back in Lagos already |
RoyalIgbo:I don't get you? Did you study geography in secondary school or you just feel like being silly? |
omo17:Buy them in large quantities and sell in major cities or if you have the financial muscle, set up a fruit juice production plant in the state. There's an abundance of fruits in the state and neighbouring Cross River (mostly Bananas, Pineapples, Cocoa). But again, the market for the finished products is not there. That's why the likes of Chi are located in and around Lagos. |
suyamasta:Bro na cost of transportation be the issue o. Then those animals who spends their lives on highways claiming "revenue officers" or "food produce". Then add police and army checkpoints. But na business Wey I Sha still plan do and Wey people dey do already. |
natinhoo:To be honest with you, I didn't feel the need to haggle the price. Like I was cheating her or something. Last year I got almost same size for N300 and the girl offered me another bag for same price but the one I paid for was more than enough. |
Bought this half bag of oranges for N600 (Six hundred Naira not 6k) somewhere in Benue State. The orange seller by my estate gate here in Lagos sells 3 or 4 oranges for N100 depending on their size. Annoying part is some of the sellers won't sell theirs by the end of the day. While farmers are producing, not much is being done for further processing of these agricultural products which end up wasting. Also, Bag of Garri N2200 15 Tubers of yam N3000

Na guilty conscience dey worry you op. You run go villa go see that your former boyfriend dat year Wey return for Christmas na why you body dey do you somehow say your husband go visit one single woman. Since Wey you small, you don dey do Christmas and New year with your extended family for villa, Wetin stop you from enjoying the holiday with your own immediate family now and use the opportunity to pair bond with your hubby after working throughout the year? Small holiday Wey you go use do things with your hubby like couples, you run go villa, now you end up no dey happy. Oyinbo man talk say na as we dey, na so we dey take see the world. On a serious note, while your worries about this visit are legitimate, I'm of the opinion that if your husband had anything ulterior to do with the lady, he wouldn't mention it to you. Expressing your reservations about the visit was enough and I believe even though he asked you if he shouldn't visit his friends again because he married you, he must have learnt a lesson. But you went ahead to threaten him you were gonna visit your single male friends come Easter as pay back. This simply shows lack of character on your part. And lemme advice you, don't do it. Do not visit any of your single male friends. Because if you do and with the anger and resentment towards your hubby about this visit, na when dey guy don release inside you finish your eyes go open. No take your hand spoil your marriage o. Go tell Oga sorry say you tell am say you visit your male friends too as pay back. I believe say Oga too go dey wise enough to tell you say sorry and him too understand how you feel. The year too early to begin with "I no gree I no gree", cos na Wetin dey tear pant be dat. |
dominique:I actually believe he's in the US. He'll then return to attend the Saturday debate. By tomorrow latest we should see pictures of him there with PDP making plenty noise |
dockokwus:My sentiments exactly. But I actually think it was done deliberately |
