He said: “ What we are concerned with in this committee is the Lagos to Algiers highway.Damn... Nigerians don't read. Shameful comments everywhere. Some are asking why abandoned local roads for this road. Lol. So so shameful. If any of you condemning this had bothered to read the article, you'll see where it is stated every country on the route is responsible for the stretch that passes through their own country. Hence, Nigeria is only (re)constructing or expanding already existing Nigerian roads only. This include Makurdi-Lafia-Akwanga-Keffi route which links up with Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria routes which are all part of the trans Sahara road. The Lagos-Ibadan-Jebba route is also part of the road. This is similar to the Nigeria-Cameroon international road which actually starts from Enugu-Abakiliki-Mbok-Ikom and terminates in Yaounde, Cameroon. While Nigeria had focused on the Enugu-Ikom stretch, Cameroon focused on theirs. |

naijadrivablog:Haha.. Thanks boss. I've been able to get the needed assistance elsewhere though. The thread just empty I come dey wonder. But if people no dey take comprehensive insurance, I no sure say insurance companies for still dey in business o. I think the thread would have gotten more response though had it made front page because quite a good number of car owners and or folks who have ideas about the insurance thingy do not actually visit this section. Just felt the regulars here would have an idea. |
sonnie10:Again Moròn, about Governor's taking over FG highways, several Governors have done this but what do you know? You head is just empty because you refused to ask questions or make simple research. 2010-2011, I was in my final year in Rivers State when the then Governor, Rotimi Ameachi and current Transport minister reconstructed and dualized PH Airport-Elele-Owerri Federal Highway with street lights from beginning to the state boundary with Imo state. GEJ's led FG refused to refund Rivers state that money with support of Wike, who surprisingly now wants FG to refund the money spent by the state on the road. So learn to ask questions rather than make claims you aren't sure about. |
sonnie10:I shouldn't even engage you. Read up, dumbfvck. You're obviously miles away from Cross River. https://guardian.ng/news/cross-rivers-n700-billion-superhighway-ready-in-three-years/?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C6294549942 "A brainchild of Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State, the 275km, six-lane highway has attracted global criticism due largely to the fact that it cuts through – and proposes to destroy – a considerable amount of pristine, community forest. A defiant Ayade has however kept faith with the controversial project in the face of widespread condemnation, even appearing to resist a central government directive demanding that certain conditions be satisfied before project execution" https://www.environewsnigeria.com/n648bn-superhighway-will-put-cross-river-in-180-year-debt-burden-group-cries-out/?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C9566531477 Ayade doesn't want to fix Calabar-Katsina-Ala Federal highway, Ayade wants to construct a brand new superhighway from Calabar to Obudu. |
sonnie10:So it was APC that promised Cross Riverians a super highway and not the clown of a governor himself? You defend PDP without making a fool of yourself. Even Obudu where the governor is from are lamenting albeit silently for fear of attacks by his stooge and here you are saying it was APC thag promised Cross River a super highway. So because he called PMB to a so called ground breaking launching for the super higway, it automatically becomes an APC promise? Are you even in Cross River, lemme not even ask if you're from there. When last did you visit Obudu ranch to see the mess it has become? You, the governor and all his asslickers are just shameless. |
pocohantas:Ok. Thanks. There's a Gtb close to my office. |
Good day Carlanders. So like the title of my thread suggests, I want to take a comprehensive auto insurance policy for my car and really do not know what to expect or how to go about it. So I've always heard about Axa Mansard when folks talk comprehensive Insurance so I decided to take their policy. I'm open to other recommendations though. I'll like to know the value/percentage of their policy, what and what their policy covers, how to go about claims etc.. and any general info worth knowing. Yes, I know I can contact them directly on their official website, but I just want to have first hand info from folks using their policy before I proceed so I'm not confused by their reps with big grammar. Cc. Nurey, Kingreign, valarinz, HeavenlyBang, Inception. |
pocohantas:Hi.., I'll like to ask you some questions about these guys. Just got a car and I want to take a comprehensive insurance for it. I've heard their name mentioned here and there in the past, but never really cared. The only other info about them on NL is about their job interviews/recruitment, reason why I'll like to have a chat to know more about their services as you're a client with first hand experience. |
Rosella1: Pettyprincess:My brother, I don dey laugh since.. From this her comment, if you notice the part I highlighted you'll realise that this girl has always wanted to end up with a white man. Which means she has been contacting them probably on Social media or foreign dating sites for her to have met many white men who immediately demand for nudes. In one of her response to someone, she posted pictures of a Social media biracial couple. Na that kind thing dey her mind since not all these grammar "haters" dey speak. Although I really don't have anything against her desires, but I'm just praying she's not being groomed for an international sex trade with her desperation to be with a whitey.. |
spacofadan:All good boss.. We cool |
GAZZUZZ:Perusing Seun's Nairaland, calling you out on your bullshít in the process, and having a nice time this Sunday evening. I'm glad you've finally conceded by trying to question my presence on this thread. But aren't you just shameless? Because if I were you, I wouldn't be caught a mile near this thread after condemning everything the thread stand for. You actually think blackmail would work on me? I actually thought you were smarter |
GAZZUZZ:Although I've made my point and would have ignored further mentions from you, I just had to open the link if not for anything, but to be educated and this is my response. GAZZUZZ:This was your final conclusion that not all Canadian cars are bad but due diligence was needed. To be fair to you, I'll pretend to act surprised that despite all your years in auto repairs, you're just finding out that before any car is purchased (be it American, Canadian, Europe or Naija used) due diligence is needed and advised. But the truth remains that you have seen that these deals are good, your plans to ruin the business failed and now you possibly plan on start bringing in Canadian cars yourself for cheap and know rust would or might be an issue hence the attempt to backtrack on your earlier position which was just borne out of the desire to pull the Op down and not actually because you cared about rust. |
GAZZUZZ:No assumptions here. It was you who created a thread stating Canadian cars were cheap cos of rust and why it is bad to buy such a car. Also somewhere on this same thread, you replied someone who wondered what you were still doing on this thread that you were looking for a cheap "RUST Free" deal. You made it a point to to highlight rust free in your response. So here is such a deal and you betrayed you earlier position by failing to demand underbody pictures first. Which means rust didn't actually matter So cut the long English, people who have been calling you out aren't all fools and can see through your gimmicks. This right here is a good deal. And even if it turns out a stick shift, a lot of manual enthusiasts would gladly pay for it. So park well abeg. |
GAZZUZZ:How hypocritical. One would have expected underbody rust would be of primary concern to you and the determining factor for your interest with the way you demonized Canadian cars and not Stick shift.. So if it turns out to be Auto, underneath the body won't matter anymore right? After all rust can be worked on. Thank God no be only you get eye as person don already ask how him go pay. It was only jealousy all along. |
GAZZUZZ:The good deal enter your eye too sotey you forget to ask for underbody pictures to confirm the presence or absence of rust.. I guess rust no matter again abi. |
baby124:For some weird inexplicable reason, I think she knew who he was right from the unset. Like she's not being sincere with her story. My hunch tells me she went into the marriage for selfish reasons like believing she'll change him or can cope or the fact that she kinda didn't have to worry about losing her hubby to some other woman, but now can no longer tolerate her reality. Again something tells me she married a very rich person and is conflicted about losing the perks and comfort thag comes with it. Why because, this is a no brainer. She should simply move out of that marriage or at best stop allowing him stick his dick into her for her own safety. |
He's a custom Officer.. My roommate back at the University.. |
Consumerprotect:So this is Gazzuzz.. Shame on you.. First time I came across this moniker was at the early stages of Amdman's thread and you were shut down with your silly attitude. Much later as you saw him progressing with plenty (potential) clients, you brought the rust issue with your main Moniker and then created the rust thread. According to the LAGOS MOTOR VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION, there are over 5million private and 200k commercial cars in Lagos. Young man, neither you nor Radautos can attend to all these people. And with over 200m people in Nigeria, you and all NL auto dealers cannot meet their car demands. Face your hustles and stop being a cheeky little fvcker and coward hiding under different usernames to shadow attack perceived competition's business. Na bad belle dey lead to witchcraft. https://lagosstate.gov.ng/blog/2017/07/05/lagos-and-motor-vehicle-administration/?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C3727625014 |
Nasa28:You obviously lack comprehension skills or you're still in denial. Until few weeks back, you guys were gloating how Bago will defeat Gbaja as speaker in the house elections. We saw the results at the end of the day. 283 - 78. Complete whitewashing of the northerner by a Southwestern man.. So wake up Mr man. Abiola defeated Tofa even in Kano, his home state. |
Nasa28:Gbaja recently trashed Bago to become number four man.. Even northern reps voted for Gbaja in their numbers as against their brother Bago.. A man from Kano was Gbaja's campaign director. A PDP rep from Anambra seconded his nomination as speaker. Even Wike openly supported Gbaja against Bago.. So keep wailing while new alliances are being formed. Make Una no go make alliances, dey wait to stop SW. E go clear for Una yes when Star Boy take over. Keep shouting Tinubu up and down till campaign start and you see Northerners themselves carry Starboy matter for head. |
nurey:Gracias Boss. You were more than helpful |
nurey:I sent the mail to your Gmail and copied your ymail |
nurey:Hello Nurey, please I just sent you an email. The number i. Your contact isn't going through |
Cost of rent around Calabar should be the title of the thread. Op, Calabar is just a place in Cross River and not the State itself. What of Akamkpa, Ugep, Ikom, Ogoja or Obudu? What does it cost to rent an apartment in these other Cross River towns? Take note |
FannySwindler1:A gentleman's way of referring to ladies of easy virtue without sounding offensive. Lol |
If anything, this man has been pretty forthcoming with details. At least we get to see the original mileage not 75k km on a 2003 car because say na only inside estate Oyibo been dey drive the moto. Just this afternoon I saw 266k km as mileage on a 2011 siena on copart. Make that car reach Naija now, e go miraculously turn to 26k km Someone once mentioned here that they'll come for the op with this attempt to remove food from their mouths, but I think say na joke. But all this subtle attack in the guise of concern don make me rethink am. No be say everybody here don buy moto sef and the op don sell plenty cars. Oga op, no more long talk, sorry I derail your thread, but my advice be say try remain straightforward and open with you clients. Because d day Wey your phone number go dey off because you get small headache, person go create thread for your matter say you be scam. Peace. I don go back to observation mode for inspiration to double d hustle. |
Consumerprotect:I'm just a prospective buyer and not in any way related to the Op. So this is not me holding brief for him. My car request is somewhere on this thread. Having stated the above paragraph, the Op has severally stated he doesn't own these cars and the pictures posted here are what he got from the seller. If you go through the thread from the beginning, people have raised the issue about inspection and he said somewhere he carries out some level of physical inspection but for a more detailed information with involves a mechanic and a YouTube video for you, it'll cost you the prospective buyer. Remember these cars might not even be in the same city with him because even though he seeks to provide we back here a better option with used cars when compared to Nigerian used cars, he also needs to make a profit while keeping the landing cost low. A lot of requests have been made on here and a lot of cars posted, but we all know not many purchases have been made. Some are waiting for testimonies and arrival of the shipped cars before parting with their money. So if you see any car you like, reach out to the op, pay the fee for a detailed inspection and then decide whether to proceed or not. Or jejely go to Cars45 in Ikeja with your mechanic or Begger in Apapa and buy what you can physically inspect. |
JustCare:Oga na Wetin sef? You wan buy motor or spoil person market? D people Wey you tag na for Wetin? No be this same thread all of us the read? Abi na only pictures you the look and not the detail of the car because all the cars the Op has posted here with rust were mentioned to have some rust by the op in the description. |
MRSAMWEBTECHIE:Quite sad. I know how they feel. Felt same way when Lekki was flooded back in 2016. Woke up and saw my room flooded that Saturday morning. Phones, laptop, home theater, box, fully submerged and my bed floating with me on top. |
