Lol.. Jimi probably has a short memory. During the 2015 campaigns, APC posters were removed from the 3rd Mainland bridge with the excuse that it was built by and belonged to the FG and not the Lagos state government.

Any keen follower of the press and their coverage of the 2019 general elections would have noticed by now that Daily Independent News paper have been pro-Atiku/PDP an Anti-APC.

Yesterday it was widely reported that Atiku had indeed secured a US Visa as confirmed by Sahara reporters and the likes and Popular PDP handles on Social Media (Jakson Ude and co) also confirmed the news and made mockery of the FG. Even Saraki had something to say about it and tongue lashed the FG/APC.

But what in my opinion they all failed to understand was that Atiku securing a US visa was not a guarantee that he wouldn't be arrested immediately he stepped foot in the US, which eventually made him return to Nigeria after failing to secure clearance in the UK.

The latest spin by the Atiku's camp in cohort with their media agent (Daily Independent) is to quickly release another story that Atiku was never given a US visa but only travel to the UK briefly, this is exactly what Paul Ibe, Atiku's spoke person said earlier. At least with this story out, Atiku can claim he hasn't gone to the US because he doesn't have a Visa.

Note, it was claimed a family source confirmed he had received his visa and jetted out of the country. Now Daily Independent is telling us another family source said he didn't get the Visa and only left for the Uk.

It should also be noted, the US embassy said Visa issues are confidential. If news outlet like SaharaReporters, Punch, SUN, or Thisday were the ones saying he wasn't issued the Visa in the first place, it would have been believable, not Daily Independent .

In conclusion, Atiku got the Visa, but was not guaranteed safe entry to the US.

First of all, you have to reroof your building with stronger woods. Then secondly as the new wood are being nailed in place, the carpenter using a paint brush applies condemned engine oil on the wood.

Unlike CRA in 2015, Wike won't use Rivers money for Atiku's campaign (would have if Tambulwa had emerged the PDP flag bearer), neither would Udom nor Okowa. These guys from these core southern states are all first term governors and are more interested in retaining their seats than fund Atiku's presidential campaign. Especially not with the threat of losing their seats to the APC which unlike 2015, have made serious inroads and gained grounds in these states.

Obi is out of government, hence can't control the required cash flow. The other 3 PDP SE governors won't fund it because they don't really care.

What the PMB led FG would do to Atiku is simple, follow the money. TSA and BVN have even made it easier.

Whoever wrote this is painfully naive if s/he's thinking these are part of Atiku's plan.. There's a reason Atiku and his co-travellers keep shouting restructuring without exactly breaking it down to the points listed by the op (which are noble by the way).

Atiku in clear terms should be able to tell us and break it down

- Is he for state police?
- Is he for 100% resource control? (He has answered this already saying as much as he would like it, Nigeria can't achieve it now)
- Is he for devolution of Abuja powers?
-Regionalism? etc

And not just shout I'll restructure Nigeria.

It doesn't always have to be so...your son or daughter doesn't always have to run your company after you have left the stage. GTBank is a perfect example. I worked with Babatunwa Adenirokun, the son of late Tayo Aderinokun MD of GTBANK, at a top notch property development firm some years ago. Tayo Aderinokun was alive then. Tunwa his son studied Business Administration abroad and had interests in Real Estate.
Tayo Aderinokun did not send his son to work in or head GTHomes which was the real estate subsidiary of GTBANK then. He rather sent Tunwa to our boss (his friend) to learn the ropes & be disciplined under him rather than in GTHomes where he would have been treated with kids gloves as "Oga's Son". Our boss actually said this then. I never met Tayo Aderinokun personally but this action of his made me respect him highly.
Even after Tayo Aderinokun's death, the son wasn't elevated to one of the top executives of the bank, rather the guy is doing his own business and investing in his peculiar interests. GTBANK is moving on and for me is still the best bank in this country for now!

Dude destroyed all the roads and sidewalks fixed by Liyel in the name of road expansion since last year and left it like that. Even the bad ones, he made worse.

Obudu-Ogoja, 54km, 40-45mins drive in the bad state of the road before and 1hr riding a bike at 60kmph before. But on my trip from Lag and back, I spent 1hr 30mins. Thank God it didn't rain then.

Tap water ran in many homes in Obudu courtesy of Liyel, but nothing today.

I was at GAME store, Palms Mall the other day, and two young guys after filling their trolley with different electronics and kitchen wares approached me with one GAME staff waving their ATM card.

The staff because he knew me brought them to me and was explaining for them that they want to pay for the items but their bank is having issues and the POS device couldn't complete the transaction.

He begged I gave them my account so their friend at home could transfer the money to my account and I pay with my ATM that they'll appreciate me.

E remain small I for report the Game staff to their management after I change am for am. Probably thought I didn't understand they were about to perpetrate a fraud. The so called friend at home was obviously in possession of a stolen ATM or something and would have transferred the cash to my account then I ended up a scape goat like this greedy girl in this story.

I reminded the customer guy, he was brandishing a Diamond bank ATM, and diamond bank's branch was just by the entrance of the mall. Let him walk there amd withdraw the cash from his account, nothing will happen to the items in his trolley since he hasn't even paid.

Exactly what I just mentioned, dude was in the sciences for a better part of his formative years and later went on to study something that had to do with balancing Chemical equations and reactions in the university.

Now I'm all for parents allowing their kids to choose their career path, but I also see reason with parents who pick certain course of study for their kids.

I mean, Pascal (like most Nigerian parents who owned businesses) knew and hoped that one day, Uzoma will head the company, but yet did not mentor and guide him through a particular career path. He probably believed that the guy would one day take over irrespective of what he studied after all it's his inheritance.

But I guess what is needed to be a successful CEO in today's business world goes more than a right to inheritance.

One can argue today that God is Good motors is the most successful transport company in Nigeria. That is because the founders son (who runs the company now) has always been in the scene. Probably with loads of all the ideas he implemented burning in his head back then.

Remember Ekene Dilichukwu motors? Their Toyota buses with a simple "ekene" written in small letters in a blue background. After he died, the busines died with him because his own children were interested in court cases against themselves rather than competing with GUO and GIG
