But these are the facts…

In 1979, the FCT was Lagos.

In 1979, the constitution in use was 1979 constitution.

But in 2023, the FCT is Abuja.

And the constitution in use is 1999 constitution which gave a special status to Abuja following the recommendation of the Committee on the FCT; this special status was not enjoyed by Lagos as FCT.

Again, the argument is not about satisfying “2/3” but about satisfying a quasi-independent provision of “25% in the FCT”.

You see why citing that Awolowo vs Shagari case is near useless to the case at hand?

If they don't tally,how did they arrive at the result they announced?
Remember they promise real time transmission.

The announced result was from the EC8A dat every agent signed den passed from PU to ward n collation centre. D IREV is just like a backup of the EC8A form. Wat was also presented d man was a copy downloaded from d IREV and not the copy of d EC8A.

During cross-examination, Bayode said blurred documents downloaded from the result viewing portal do not affect the polling unit results recorded in forms EC8As.

He said photographic copies of forms EC8A captured with the bimodal voter accreditation system (BVAS) and transmitted to IReV, are not relevant for the collation of results.

The witness also told the court that the glitch recorded during the presidential poll did not affect the credibility of election results. He said only physical results (forms EC8As) are used for collating final election results.

Two people destroyed Asiwaju ambition most: Prof Yaks, who did a foolish job.

After three witnesses changed their minds at the last minute to take a stand under oath, all Asiwaju and his so called legal team could come up with are:
• A fake pastor who refused to swear on the Bible he uses to ply his trade. So laughable. Does he think this is an owambe party? Or his brain washed parish members?

• A high ranking senator with law background who promptly indicted his master for narcotics trafficking, right at the full view of the honorable judges who would make decisions. Even a street boy could do better at responding to SAN Livy questions.

• His lawyers closing cases even though they gat some days left to bring in more witnesses. Damn.... didn't Asiwaju paid these lawyers?

My only conclusion, is that Asiwaju is carrying the curse of success. Which is known to follow people like him. That at the pinnacle of his most cherished goal, he will be disgraced. His babalawo and alfas tried to warn him. But he refused to hear.

Get ready for two possible pronouncement:
• A call for fresh elections in which Asiwaju may or may not stand as candidate. Akpabio would act as president for a while. Akpabio is PDP, in body as well as spirit. Akpabio have not forgiven Asiwaju for GEJ defeat. He will exert his own pound of flesh at the right time. That's how my lovely Akwa Ibom behave. They are loyal to a fault to what they believe in. Hope you know Inec closed their defence yesterday with just 3 documents and a single witness who shot himself in the leg cos he ended up contradicting himself. In a nutshell Inec has no single defense to prove they hosted a credible election, they couldn't even present documents that proves Tinubu stood a slight chance of actually winning the election. Wait for more defense from Tinubu/Shetima and Apc, I want to see how they can possibly defend Tinubu multiple perjury case hanging on his neck and Shetima double nomination. Both are disqualidiable offenses.

At the resumed hearing of the Petition of the Labour Party and Peter Obi against INEC, Tinubu, Shettima and APC, INEC was finally able to open their defence as their witness did not have “domestic issues” today.

INEC witness today was the same Deputy Director of ICT at INEC, Lawrence Bayode, who testified for INEC in PDP’s case.

After adopting his witness statement, it was time for cross examinations by parties.

When it the turn of the Labour Party, cross examination was handled by PIN Ikwueto SAN.

First, under cross examination, PIN Ikwueto asked the witness why INEC went ahead to deploy the IREV for the elections if it had “vulnerabilities” (recall the many claims of threats of hackers and all by INEC and government agencies).

To this the witness replied that the IREV “had no vulnerability.”

Furthermore into the cross examination, Mr Ikwueto handed an INEC certified IREV result sheet and asked, “what is the score of APC in this result sheet?”

INEC Witness: ”I don’t know, the results are blurry.”

And that was how INEC admitted in court that its document is blurry.

Now, the question is where did it get the numbers to announce the winner it announced?

Remember: ”The aim is not to trust the judiciary, the aim is to overwhelm them with evidence”.
