congratz, You can route to Chicago O'Hare Intl, and a connecting flight to Battle creek airport or alternatively take train or greyhound to Kalamazoo from Chicag

The V.O prolly may not know about your conditional admission unless your admission letter was asked for, because the mode of admission is usually not shown on the I-20, i have seen approvals with conditional admission, but you should be ready to explain why Probatory if asked....

You don't need to present soa at Poe before you will enter USA, you can only take it along with you unless your school asked you to bring along all the original copy of the documents you scanned to them during admission process

Its not as bad. I will be using a 4 months old statement when I leave next month and its fine. As long as you can explain to the officers that you followed the 6 months embassy rule on statement validity.

5 month old SOA. shouts out to the visa officer that the money is no longer there and a fraud is being committed.
It is obvious that if you can not get a fresh statement that you are trying fraud.

3 hours should be enough as long as your flight is not delayed.
