IslamRe: Interested In Co-moderating This Section? by Araboy(m): 7:01pm On Jan 02, 2012
I trust Mukina choice but what we need is someone progressive to determine what is and is not acceptable what constitute

a spam abuse or duplication someone with fair amount of Islamic knowledge and  has the ability to tell when the discussion is

a legitimate concern or just noise

I don't think people like lagosshia deals and sweetnecta are up to that task due to their rigid views and lack of understanding

The hadith I stated before was narrated by Anas ibn Malik and related as sahib by Imam Ahmed Al bukhari and Muslim

The hadith stated clearly that The Habashi were dancing (yarkusun ) and singing

-Imam Nawawi on the obove hadith said "It is not prohibited neither  to dance or sing but rather both  are permissible as is

attested to by the hadith in sahihs Albukhari and Muslim that the prophet stood before Aisha to screen her from view that

she could see abyssinians (Yarkusun) dancing

- Imam Ibn Hajar on the above hadith said "  dancing is neither prohibited nor offensive because its  only

motion made while standing or bowing and above because the Prophet consented to Habasha doing so in his Mosque

So to your knowledge what Aisha witnessed and saw according to all Imams and interpretations of Hadiths were involving singing

and dancing .Do you know how many reputable Imams used words Raqs (dancing) and Ghena(singing ) ?

Imam Tabarani used Raqs (dance ) Hadith # 3 Page 121 vol 9

Imam Nisai used Raqs (dancing ) and Ghena (singing ) Page 309 Volu 5

Imam Zamaksheri explained same Hadith calling the men performance Raqs and ghena ( dancing and singing )

Imam Qadi Iyad the most reputable Malekite Scholar after Imam Malik Ashab and Ibn Al Qassim called the men performance

dance and chanting

Even Imam Ahmed Ibn Hanbal who was salafi himself called it Raqs and singing in his Musnad

Another rant from another fanatic

If the above hadith from Sahih Al  Abukhari doesn't prove the permissibility of music for you what else you want ?

If the Prophet allowed Aisha to listen and watch a group of African men singing and dancing is not enough to convince you ?

you suggested the four Madhabs of the sunni school agreed that music is harm yet you still didn't bring any proof from other

schools except the Hanbali one which is  exclusively followed in Saudi Arabia

Ibn teymiyyah views are at the origin of the terrorism in  the Muslim word and his famous Fatwa Mardini has encouraged

muslims terrorists to kill innocent people even in their place of worship

I have no respect for Ibn teymiyyah or the wahhabi doctrine these people are nothing but bigots extremists terrorists

No one in Africa follows their Hanbali Madhab or care about their views except boko haram murderers and few hardcore

African salafis
IslamRe: Addicted To Music by Araboy(m): 9:34pm On Dec 29, 2011
Here some proof from hadith that music is halal

Aisha says  the Habasha (Abyssinians ) were performing in THE MOSQUE on the day of eid I looked over the Prophet's

shoulders and he lowered them little so I could see them until I was satisfied and left this hadith was related by Ahmed

Albukhari and Muslim

another hadith narrated by Aisha " That once Abu bakr came to her on the day of eid while The Prophet with her and there

were two girls singers with her singing Abu bakr says twice "Musical instruments of Satan " but The Prophet said leave

them Abu bakr every nation has an eid (festival) and this day is our eid  related by Albukhari

The Famous Muslim Scholar Ibn Hajar wrotes in his famous book Fath Albari that Music is permissible and back up his claim

by many sahih Hadiths BTW this book is a reference to Many Muslim Scholars in matters of Fikh and Ahkam
IslamRe: Addicted To Music by Araboy(m): 8:30pm On Dec 29, 2011
There is no clear cut religious fatwa (ruling) that singing and music are not permissible in Islam

Since long time it has been subject matter of controversy wether music is halal or haram

Islam is a broad religion with people of broad minds you guys with extreme views and salafi aqeedah should stop meddling

in fatwas about music

Music  is a sign of civilization and progress of any society according to Muslim scholars Ibn Rumi and Ibn Al arabi

I  would rather listen to Adewale Ayuba or Terry G than   those Arabic Anasheeds

CultureRe: Why Are The Hausas And Fulanis Co-joined In One Tribe - Hausa/fulani? by Araboy(m): 7:22pm On Dec 22, 2011
Only southerners think Hausa and Fulani as one tribe and it is  a big mistake

Fulani consider themselves  The crusaders in west Africa they are very proud and arrogant people they don't think Hausa or

Kanuri people are able to understand or practice Islam without their help since they were at the origin of their Islamization

these tribes are different in term of origin language and customs but since they practice same religion in a multi religious country

they felt their religion is matter the most( like most Muslims ) and that why maybe they CO - joined and mixed with

the Hausa as One entity

IslamRe: Why do Muslims hardly Pray In secular Gatherings? by Araboy(m): 6:47pm On Dec 19, 2011
Because Yoruba Muslims are losing ground to their counterpart Christians and not bold enough to confront them no wonder

why they are converting to Christianity more than any other African Muslims instead of preaching on this  tiny section you

guys need to step up your game and contain the rampant evangelization of your families through job offers and

intermarriages
IslamRe: Mutah Pimps and the Qur'an by Araboy(m): 6:32pm On Dec 19, 2011
Mutah or temporary marriage refers to when a man marries a woman for specific length of time in return for a particular

amount of money it is nothing but a prostitution just like hiring an escort for a night or hours

The basic principle concerning marriage is that it should be ONGOING AND PERMANENT AND NOT A TEMPORARY ROMP

Shia Propoganda I have no respect for people who claim to be Muslims yet they  still insult the closest companions

and Wives of The Prophet SAW which is the ultimate heresy

Muslims would be better off without their two extremes Shia and Wahabis no wonder why they hate each others

IslamRe: Female Muslim *with Hijab* Receives Nobel Peace Prize For 2011 by Araboy(m): 11:58am On Dec 12, 2011
I agree that hijab in middle east is a part of their culture more than an Islamic dressing  code even a  non practicing

muslimah or an ashawo     can still  be wearing hijab

Shia  consider hijab a sign of chastity and focus too much on the folkloric  side like hijab  and beard  instead of

more substantial matters I think the lady might have given  a better image of Muslims  if she was dressed in  western

attire

Happy New Year to all Muslims

To those who don't know  The Islamic New Year starts the first day of Muharam

ALHijra is the first day when The Prophet Mohamed PBUH began His Migration from Mecca to Medinah in The Islamic

year that was 1 AH  622 C E

Brother Lgos Shia I m not Shia but I love The Prophet and His Family more than Myself I don't agree with some views

of the wahhabi AKA Salafis about Shia I found them untrue and unfair Shia are nothing but Muslims on other hand I

will not tolerate non sense and lies from Shia about the Family of The  Prophet especially Seyida Aisha I will still love

her like  my Mom and more than any Shia Imams including the twelve

Please  let 's leave Beni Umayyah and Beni Hashim out of this conversation and wish  all  Muslims     Sana Saedah

IslamRe: The Islamization Of Osun Schools-- A personal appeal from Aloy@Emeka by Araboy(m): 3:09am On Nov 18, 2011
aloy you are so ignorant asking Muslims not to wear Hijab is equal to asking Christians not to go to mass on sunday

aloy you have to understand that Nigerians are not at the same level and are not following same path nor Religion

People in the  south west whether  in Ondo Osun Oyo or Lagos should accept the religious  and cultural diversity in

Yorubaland

Asking Yoruba Muslims not to wear Hijab in school is denying them of their Islamic identity and asking them not to be

proud of whom they are and not be confident in their Religious Identity

Please stop your simplistic ways and your multiple provocations

Hijab for some Muslims is a command and part of Muslims culture and not an  Arabic custom

Yes the language of Quran is Arabic but the culture of Islam is not Arabic

Islam is a set of principles accepting others cultures as long as it does not contradict the Principles

stop judging others according to your believe and desire no one here will follow your ways you are doomed to fail

Insha  Allah et ca sera un autre deja vu pour toi
