TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Aragon1: 7:42pm On Aug 10, 2019
Hello @all Please this is just to notify anyone applying to South Westphalia University of Applied Science for the summer section to include the Declaration of Consent form as this is the only way you can authorize them to Email your Admission letter. Else, you will have to wait for the the Admission letter to come by mail and it could take ages to arrive. I made that mistake and I'm trying to send it across now. I know many of us might have overlooked it. Also note that they are accepting documents through Uniassist for admission into the summer section for those that are interested and haven't searched. God's grace to all of us.

If you're applying for BSc, you need to send scratch card. If it's Msc, you don't need to.
But my advice is that you send irrespective of Bsc or Msc.
Thanks for your swift response. Most appreciated.

I would like to ask you a question. please, while applying for a masters program through uniassist, do i have to send a scratch card for waec/neco even though i have certified the certificate. thanks.
TravelRe: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Aragon1: 8:00am On May 21, 2019
Good morning house, i have been a silent follower and have taken time to read through the thread. After going through the financial requirements for study visa application,
I am still in loss of which documents would suffice as evidence of business transactions.(excluding Bank statement, CAC documents and tax clearance).. Thanks for your response.

[quote author=dotcomnamename post=76956182]Good morning, please you once listed three key documents for a business owner wishing to apply for a tourist visa which includes, 1)Business Registration documents(CAC documents I believe), 2) Tax Clearance documents and 3) Evidence of business transactions. The 3rd is still unclear to me please. What document/documents would best describe or portray this which is acceptable by the embassy. Thanks a million.

Me I just tire sha ,but no wahala
I felt really bad and my heart was heavy when I read this. Life is full of ups and downs. Please don't back down, refire my brother but critically look into their reason for denial before you apply again. Very vital. Success bro.

Brother,I'm so scared now.The embassy called me about 30 minutes ago, asking me series of questions.I could not answer all, because someone actually helped me with the application.they asked me the exact address of my place of work and the name of the person who wrote my introduction letter. Now i'm so scared, after waiting for 5 weeks. Please is there any chance that i'll be issued the tourist visa?
Woww, with the recent trend of calls coming in from the embassy to authenticate people's application, you should have been better prepared fro this. That's why we always advocate you do these things yourself. Nonetheless, let's hope for the best and believe they didn't get any contradictory answers from what the person filled for you. My advise, always go through all your documents and know what's in it before you submit. You may just be saving yourself a lot of pains in the future. Getting a visa is one thing, crossing the border is another. Some people may not be lucky to skip secondary screening at POE and if you don't know what's on your visa application form, you may just be shooting yourself in the leg and have your visa canceled at port of entry. Let's be very cautious and smart during our application. I am praying specifically for this application and let's be hopeful you sail through. Grace will answer for you.

Guy please can I use reservation I made from Radisson online to travel to johanessburg , I put in my card but they said they will charge it when I arrive , will it be okay at the POE to use this ?
I will advise you pay ahead of your trip for your stay just to be safe and avoid troubles @ POE. I stayed @ Radisson last month during my Easter vacation and I made payment before I departed Nigeria. Just do a mail informing them you need to make payment ahead of your trip. You will be issued some forms to fill, permitting them to debit your Master/Visa card and a confirmation of payment will be issued to you via email. Print and attach to your flight ticket as you travel. Keep it handy as you may be asked at POE.
Just speaking from my personal experience. It could be different for some folks anyways. Safe trip as you travel.

Does virgin passport means passport with no visa ?

I don't know if I can call my passport a virgin because I lost my old one and I had to get this one new ,so is mine a virgin passport ?
Yes that's what we refer to as a virgin passport( a passport with no visa on it). But also bear in mind that if your previous/expired passport had a visa on it, the new one you have right now wouldn't really be seen as a virgin passport. Your previous passport number will reflect on your new Passport and reference could be made on your previous travel history with that expired passport. But for every application you make, i will advise you to attach a copy of your previous visas.

Good day all, been long I visited the platform, just want to encourage you all to keep waiting patiently. It will end in praise. Timeline of a friend who just collected her passport..

Visa Category - Visit Visa

Application submitted on the - 8th of March

Submission Centre - @ Port Harcourt

Application received @ Lagos on - the 11th of March

Passport Pick up mail on the - 17th of April.

Processing duration - 5weeks 2 days

Applicant - First timer on a virgin passport.

Processing Agency - Applicant did it by herself

Call from Embassy - None was made to applicant

Passport pickup information - by mail, no text message

Guys, just be patient and believe. It will end in praise. As long as you have the right documents, they will issue you visa... It's not a must that you will receive a call from the embassy, but always make sure you supply reachable phone contacts during your application in case they have need to reach you. God bless. @andrew444 and @mimicle101 , I await your testimonies

thank you so much for ur reply
but sir will 500,000 thounsand naira will not be enoughhuh
Please don't risk it, you stand a high chance of been refused if you do so. If the visa officer calculates your flight ticket, hotel accommodation and personal travel allowance, he/she will not be convinced you can afford a vacation with such little amount. No one spends his/her entire savings on vacation. My advice is, build your funds to 800k-1Mill....then apply. You stand a better chance this way.

Thanks, Can I use two separate account statements to apply, my salary account is my expense account, so the balance is always very low.
Yes you can, the last time I applied I did same as well. I used a naira acct where I receive my monthly salary and a dollar acct where I have bulk of my funds and I was given. So the answer is yes you can.

What about Student Visa.
Am sorry but I may not be in the best position to answer that. I am grounded in tourist/visiting visas which has been successful for me over time. So I am sharing my practical experience based on that. I hope someone else in the house who is conversant with and has been successful with the students visa application comes to your aid. Thanks

Someone should come and answer me na
For a visit visa, I will suggest one million as closing account balance. If you are working, let the account statement reflect your monthly salary please. Avoid any form of money dumping into the account close to your submission period please. With such acct balance(N1,000,000), it is also advisable to go for average hotels( like 15k hotels per night), during your hotel reservations and cheaper flights as well. Air Rwanda/Kenya will suffice. No one will want to spend all their savings on vacation. These visa officers are smart you know. I wish you the best

If I am applying for visa is hotel reservation also needed ?
Of course you are required to present a hotel reservation if you are applying for a visa. Except you are being invited by a family member and they specifically stated they will be accommodating you in your letter of invitation. I hope that helps.

Is Abuja Embassy Faster for Visa Application?
Considering recent events, I will say yes. Use Abuja if you are in a haste to get a response from the Embassy.

I submitted my South Africa visitor's visa application since the end of January. Each time i track it online, I'm told that my application is received and under assessment at the South Africa High Commission, Lagos. It's taking to long, what do you advise i do?
(Quote) 1 Share (Un-Share)
Just exercise patience okay. It will come out soon. Lagos has been having issues lately, but as long as your documents are okay, they will definitely issue you the visa. Even if your expected travel date has passed. Same thing happened to my friend. Applied 7th January and got his passport 1st week of march. Be patient

Call the hotel directly and confirm the booking made on your behalf. They will demand your name and a times the booking reference no. Hope it helps . the hotel contact should be on the booking printout that the agent made for you.

I also have a friend that applied since 7th of January in portharcourt but hasn't heard from them. They keep saying documents received and under assessment in Lagos. I think it's taking too long for a short stay tourist visa.

Yes, apply now and your date of arrival should tally with your layover date. It starts counting from the date of arrival.

They will stamp you in and out.
Thanks I appreciate. Will go ahead and do it.

Visit http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html register for the evisa(transit visa) I paid $21 for it & it's valid for 72hrs. Before you apply for it, check that you have more than 10hrs layover at Kenya, then book for a hotel in Nairobi. Get all your documents scanned including itinerary.
Apply, pay with your ATM card. Instantly, you will get the visa issued online.
thanks for the response. So you mean I can apply for the transit visa right away even thou my travel date is till 3rd of next month and it will still be valid by the time I want to travel. Does it mean the 72 hours will start counting from the time my passport is stamped at the POE? I have over 16hrs layover at Nairobi on my way to SA and would like to spend that time inside the city.

I have booked my flight with Kenya airways and would like to know if I can get the online transit visa now. I want to know for how long it is valid before I use it. Thanks

I didn't bother mailing euroacademy cos they can't give you any info. I mailed NARIC straight day and they replied day before yesterday. The guy said my evaluation is still on but will be ready in the near future. So I just relax. Coz Euroacademy can't tell me anything yet cos even then have not seen the result too. SO let's just chill and wait.
As for this Indian people, they don't want to comply. Co's now it's the same hitches people were having in Egypt route that started scaring them is what Lagos people are facing now I'm Indian route. Yes it's true success stories comes rol Indian bUT u can't be 100% sure if u have not tried other routes tho. I'm till thinking on the Egypt route shaa even if it means going through an agency to get their visa, I know it won't be as hilarious as that of india. Still weighing my options tho.
Thanks I really appreciate..let's keep waiting for them then..it's tiring but then one has to keep looking forword..that egypt route ehnnn..it hasn't been a wonderful one from the tales and experiences of our predecessors...Indian route is still the best I believe esp for Nigerians..I know the Ndlea wahala is getting most of us scared but it's just a certificate and others are getting it so why can't we..we will cross that bridge wen we get there I believe....the likes of Lostcity, Godfavourme, Gospel12 etc are currently on it and I know they will lead us through wen the time comes..let's keep hope alive and keep pressing

If u want to ask about Estonia I think it's best u contact people that are there already and I guess a lot of them are here.

@europestudy2015 pls reply asap, I might use the platform to make payment tomorrow.
Hi, I don't really know how the omniboarder stuff works but trust me on this, a dollar account with GTB is the best.I paid for my application fee through this means and it got to euroacademy in two days...I wasn't charged for this transaction aswell..honestly I was surprised but it's true..please when did u apply to euroacademy and how long did your NARIC evaluation take..thanks
