Keziehenry: the only challenge we have is the approval of the name by CAC, at times the approval takes up to 2 to 3wks. But once the approval is made on time the other processes will only take days. So what we normally do is for the intrested individual to send us the proposed name of the company for search to be conducted to be sure if the name is free. Once approval is given by CAC you then pay part of the money and the work starts from there.

What is the disadvantage of business name registration compared to limited liability company registration? Have you heard of one day registration in abuja head office and can you do it for me?

Keziehenry: okay for incorporation of company ie the one with ltd at the end, we register 1 million share capital for 60k, business name is 35k while NGO or church regitration is 80k.

If you have the dollar, pounds or euro in your domiciliary account, you can then place your wire transfer request online via your internet banking portal, and the bank will act on your request during working hours. Note that wire transfer may take like 2 working days to get to your beneficiary account within or outside the country unlike the instant funding transfer that I can do to your Access Dom.

You only need the money in your personal account if you are telling the embassy or filling the visa form as if you are the sponsor of your education. But if you are not, you just need the sponsor's bank statement.

Call customer service and ask them to read the transaction description they have at their back end in case your bank is the type that alerts its customers with its own transaction description rather than the merchant's site payment description.

emmakins: common its not a scam.. i use my UBA Africard for my paypal, but usually i don't leave money in it. its only when i want to make make a transaction online i load it. and there's a service i want to pay for online, and today being sunday is the deadline, banks are closed so i can't load my card to fund my paypal. so thats the reason i need someone in Lagos to help me out and we can meet in person so i pay him cash.
you don't have to assume every body is a scammer.

By visiting any of the Nigerian banks and requesting for domiciliary account and they will ask you which is your interest of dollar, pounds and euro account while filling the form(s).

Bdc means bureau de change, a shop that you can visit to buy or sell foreign currencies in exchange for naira. Mallam is the hausa man that is doing same thing that bdc is doing usually by the road side or in marketplaces. You cannot start without having domiciliary account to receive the dollar that I will send you except someone who has agreed with you to use his own.

It can actually work with any other banks (like Gtb and zenith) outside the ones I stated earlier including foreign banks but those ones will not be instant payment like the ones I mentioned. In fact, other banks may take up to 48 hours to receive with additional transfer charges that may range between $50 and $100 depending on amount you want.

So such time delay and added charges may not make your profits big unless you are putting big capital.
