I asked question in your duplicate thread but got no response |
I wish to know where you got dollar at N162 before I can know what happened. Are you believing website posting or you saw such transaction rate given somewhere? That must be old un-updated website and cannot be parallel market but CBN rate. |
Lekel: @arbitrage, a few questions.First, don't believe the rates you see on CBN or other banks' websites. They don't update their sites regularly for months and years just like the rates you see them post on banking hall boards are not correct by the time you want to buy from bank (if available). My exchange rates for yesterday and today 6th are same N167 even when BDC/Mallam are offering N171/172. I do not have website for the currency exchange except for PayPal (cashlander.com) but you can contact me via nairaland2000-1@yahoo.com or BBM PIN 7BBC4F3D. My process is simply by sending the Naira you sent me directly and instantly to your Access bank domiciliary account or into your other banks' accounts (local or foreign) in 2 working days (plus transfer charges if less than $5000). You will receive the Naira I am sending you instantly as dollar, pounds or euro (e.t.c) depending on the denomination of your domiciliary account. |
sluvy4tune: So you expect I send you my hard earn money for you to pay some imaginery euros/dollars to my account ? You don't do physical deals but I shud trust u with my money, guy d thunder wey go strike you dey do Press Up.I do not expect you to send me your hard earned money but your freely given/obtained money for my imaginary euros, pounds or dollars. It's actually not by force but by choice. Thanks for your feedback.

sluvy4tune: So I will have to wire the money to your account first before u credit me the euros shey?Sure but you don't have to wire as internet banking transfer will do. |
sluvy4tune: How do I get it ? Where is ur locationYou need Access domiciliary account to receive it instantly into your account otherwise 2 days plus transfer charges. I am based in Lagos but don't do physical meeting deals. Dollar at N167 and Pounds Sterling at N278. |
I believe this idea is already at work and being used across Nigeria and Africa strictly between Telcom companies and short code business users. Or what do you think the short code service is all about when you receive those Telco-supported spams, telling you to text YES or NO to 33012 or 33000 or such like, saying each text cost N50 or N100 per sms? Where do you think win this, win that or text to vote your favourite of Project Fame or Big Brother or Glo Sings or Malta Dance, et cetera, is getting those winning prices? From their business profits? It's your money as you keep sending text messages daily/weekly in millions of populations across countries, the total bounties will make up the winning prize plus big funding from advertising supporters/companies. Then the organizers will have something to share with the Telcos. They are not going to share your N50/N100 airtime. It is money. Only the know-how is not made available to all phone users. |
sluvy4tune: Bought euro @ 228 todayI can offer you N225. |
Shegetine: @Op I read thru your tread lately and you are doing a great job here. I have so much fallen in love with the whole process, now i registered for SEOClerk and trying to open a paypal account but it not bringing nigerian state instead i'm seeing US states does it mean i'm signing up for US paypal or what can i do to complete my sign-up. Thanks and i appreciate your job here.Simply go to paypal.com/ng on any IP address to register a Nigerian PayPal account without needing to change IP address. Just click on sign up on the page that opens and you will have the picture below as I did it now on USA IP address and yet Nigeria is listed by default.

papiforreal: Arbitrage, legalwealth your help is needed pls.The guy has answered you correctly that you cannot fund your Nigerian PayPal account to hold positive balance. When you want to use your PayPal to make payment (not to receive for now), the system automatically makes the payment from your attached/linked card account. |
Did he ask us to pay him on his site or rather to pay the sellers/advertisers? I think if you find sellers/advertisers on his site that have been sorted, you can just confirm same seller on the real seoclerks.com to confirm it's the real offer you are choosing. There seems to be no risk here at all to my little understanding. |
At N166.5 per dollar today and pounds, euro, services inclusive; over N107m transfers and still counting, all clients cannot be wrong.

I can pay you dollars into your domiciliary account here or US bank account but it takes 2 working days to receive it here or there except your dom account were to be Access bank to receive immediately. My rate is usually competitive, at least N3 less than BDC or mallam rate. That is, if bdc or mallam is offering you N170 per dollar, I will offer you N167 or less per dollar. I will also bear the transfer charges for any amount greater than $5000 you request. |
Syenite: We are talking about what is obtainable in the sector. We also believe in God and divine favour. KNOW NOW THAT GOD CANNOT FAVOUR EVERYBODY AND NOT EVERYBODY HAS CONNECTION. Advice given by xfire and others are based on reality on ground. Depend only on divine favour and connection and see ur dreams crash like dat Dana plane.I agree with you that one should not only depend on divine favour and connection to people, and my posting did not suggest that either exclusively. Doing that will smack laziness whereas God wants to bless our efforts. Those cases of persons I mentioned are not mere fabrication but part of the reality on ground in same sector. So all considerations are very important. Surprisingly none of these persons has ever said he/she was taken by his/her company by virtue of his/her expertise. They always give the story of their recruitment and selection amongst others as if there is divine intonation to it. Nevertheless, I will still opine that it may not be correct to say GOD CANNOT FAVOUR EVERYBODY. Rather we can conveniently say GOD WILL NOT FAVOUR EVERYONE just as everybody does not necessarily have connection to Oil and Gas sector; unless we are doubting or arguing His ability here. |
For the pages of this thread I have read so far (though I didn't read all through), nobody has mentioned the place of God's favour and/or connection in securing these Oil and Gas job opportunities. While making your preparations, we cannot rule out divine favour and knowing people who can link you too. Sometimes, it is not only because of your relevant and/or irrelevant degree. I am saying that because there are so many graduates with relevant degrees who have also not secured these jobs. At least, I know of persons (male and female) working in the oil and gas industry with degrees in Plant Science, Mass Communication, Law, Agric Engineering, Biochemistry, Quantity Surveying, etc. I must quickly add too that some among them (not all) were taken based on quota system for oil producing communities. So if it's your community's turn, the company cannot turn it down because of non-relevant degree. Some were taken, however, not based on that quota but their performance at aptitude test. I have seen also those taken by oil and gas (4 at least) but not taken as engineers in these fields/areas even with their first class in engineering from good Nigerian universities. In fact, one has in his profile right from beginning always excellent. He had in O'Level 8 As and one Credit in Further Mathematics. He went on to Polytechnic and got OND Distinction in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. He crossed to University by JAMB's direct entry and had First Class in Electrical Engineering. He did a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in South Africa where the Professor said he was the only one in the class that the external examiner could not find a single word to correct in his M.Eng. research project. The whole class clapped for him. He did other programs regularly and is in fact doing his PhD as he works now for oil company but not as an Engineer in these areas. I know someone who is also working in Oil and Gas whose First Class degree was high to the point of just remaining 0.2 from total CGPA possible but still recruited for less than an Engineer position. Though the good thing is their pays are usually same level for fresh starters' degree and HND holders while it is less for OND holders also with no experience. It is however different for experienced professionals whom the op stated as your start may depend on interview negotiation. I know of Manager in Oil and Gas industry who is not from geoscience or engineering background but Botany & Microbiology. It depends on which section you are recruited there. They have HR, Finance, IT, Supply Chain Management, Safety/HSE, etc, areas with different fields of expertise. I could remember the first Nigerian MD of Shell had his bachelor's degree in Physics. So pray for God's favour as well while making necessary acquisition of relevant degree and certifications. It's somehow strange and not funny when I remember a friend who never got job interview with his mechanical engineering background. Another one went further to do PGD in Petroleum Engineering with distinction after his bachelor's degree before proceeding to UK for Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. He and only one Arab lady had distinction there in Manchester. He continued to PhD in the UK before Home Office's visa paperwork made him return to Nigeria. Still no job till now but trying to manage school teaching. So there is also a need for God's favour or someone up there linking you as reference sometimes. |
atlwireles: Is shell GTL Qatar the same thing as Oryx GTL Qatar? No, Shell's Pearl GTL in Ras Lafan, Qatar is the world's largest GTL plant in capacity (size and production per day) and was completed on schedule after Orxy GTL (owned by Qatar Petroleum and Sasol of South Africa, the licensor of the GTL technology). ExxonMobil planned to build the largest then in the same Ras Lafan industrial city of Qatar but canceled their plan before Shell became the biggest. |
Pictures and prices please. |
Do you mean physical store selling or online selling in the State? |
Miracles still happen and are for ever. In fact, getting jailed for financial fraud is like a miracle, so get ready. |
tonjeola: Why payoneer refused to grant my application? They can refuse based on having applied for one before. I tried last week (choosing UK) and I was rejected because their system showed that I already have an existing Payoneer account. |
You do not necessarily need the IBAN number to receive just like the need for Sort Code is taken care of by the Swift Code you have included. |
The last time I used Postal Order was 2000. I wouldn't know if NIPOST is still offering such service. |
ambrosini593: . Thank you very much. But how do I copy or fill the address from your pic on the payoneer address form? Also, how do I know when the card finally come ?If you know the name of your city and state, then every other thing there is going into your address line(s) except the postcode itself that will be in the postal code line. You can only know when the card arrives if NIPOST usually delivers mails in your town. In some places, people usually go into their local Post Office to check for thier mails. I think your case needs what legalwealth always advises here on Nairaland that you should pay to receive it by courier (DHL/Fedex/UPS, etc) when ordering your Payoneer card, so it will be delivered to your doorstep instead of getting lost in transit. |
ambrosini593: . I can't find it thereI wouldn't know where you live there but I can see some addresses displayed when searching. You may need to use the NIPOST address there because I saw NIPOST as one of the names of areas in Yenegoa. May be you will then be able to pick the card up there on arrival.

Have you been able to establish that the site was borne after your discussion or how do you know when the other site came into being? It is possible they were existing prior and/or unknown to you. Assuming there are few persons with your kind of concept who also planned to leverage the delivery on the expertise of many professionals across the globe, how do you think each one (site) can pass that message of their superb faculty across to us (the website visitors) without sounding alike? This is because the two statements you circled in red seem not to be plagiarism to me but rather different ways for many people to say the same thing or to pass across same message about their faculties. But if you have copyright ownership proof of your content or idea, you may go ahead nonetheless. Good luck! |
