Morning people. Please I'm an HND graduate of
Architecture from a Nigerian Polytechnic desperately
in need of information and would be grateful if you
could share some with me.
1. Can I get a Canadian University with a direct
masters program with my HND result?
2. If yes, please suggest 2 to 3 universities I could
look up online.
3. Do I need to write any other exam before I could
be offered admission for the Masters Program?
4. Can I eventually travel to Canada without an intention to study? I.e To just apply for a visa with intentions to live and work there?
I would really appreciate your prompt responses.

I don't think you can be admitted into Masters program of Architecture in Canada with HND, you will have to pass through 2yrs pre master b4 you proceed to masters i.e. 4yrs in total......it's only in the UK you can be admitted into Masters program with HND Archy not even in Nigeria |

Hello All. Abeg help me review this issue o, cos am suspectn foul play by WES. After applying to WES I sent my degree certs which they confirmed receiving. later they notified me by email that copies of the certs have been sent to my school for verification and my app status was showing waiting for verification from institution. When I followed up in school to ask if they got the certs they said no. After over 2 months I mailed Wes to ask that the certs be sent again but this time by courier. They then sent me a bill for courier which I paid. But the curious thing is that the moment I paid the bill for courier my app status immediately changed to document received, review in progress. I don't know what document they received cos I know it's not my transcript. I am a bit confused here. That means they have received the first verification from your institution, you don't need to worry again, same thing happened to me about this time last year. The school will still receive the one they sent through courier but WES won't wait for that one again. |

When will this score come down It will come down if province stop/reduce number of nominee, the point goes up because IRCC had technical problem last month with adding 600points to nominees from provinces which has been resolved and this makes it competitive selecting top 754 people to apply |

The way I see it, its quite simple......If there is a delay and you feel it should be expedited, there is no reason not to title your CSE or email with "URGENT Attention needed". That is exactly what I did hence my suggestion. They responded with a call and an email with specific update of my application. IMO, I do not consider it an act of desperation. If an application is delayed, it is delayed. The early you know why, the better you can plan ahead. That is not desperation I believe They should update the processing time tomorrow, he should just wait and see the latest date first cos it might go up or come down,then he can decide. |

No, it's self sponsor. Due to forex issue in Nigeria, I told my elder brother to pay the tuition fee from UK and it took four days. Kool, you can try your luck an explain about the forex issue and that your brother is supporting you, I pray they accept it, I am self sponsor too, I wish I can get someone as a sponsor at this moment too, I calculated funds for the 2yrs and my fund available is more than my expenses by about $6k but with the current rate now I need about that $6k meet up. |
