You are right, it's his decision if he want to enjoy the 20hr/week work for a year and later use the funds he make to pay tuition then come back to Nigeria to look job or try and take care of the situation now to be able to work towards permanent resident later.
People defer semester/section but I don't believe it's advisable to do it immediately you enter Canada, these people keep records of everything unlike our dear country, you can defer after 1st year in school then blame it on whatever reasonable reasons that you think can save you but if demmypeters1 is not thinking of getting PR after studies good he can even work for a year and half b4 going to school.
Taking risks is not by shooting yourself in the foot or jumping off the cliff cos you think you will land inside water.

It is possible. If you have ur TRV already and ur resumption date is still months away... sure. U can come in and chill while working but then, the work permit rules applies to u(20 hours) a week.

It's possible. My guy did it last year and he's resuming this fall. Pgd construction management @ Conestoga. So get in first n you will find your way around.

It's possible but not advisable, don't you think it will tell later when applying for postgraduate work permit or study permit extension? How do you explain that you enter Canada without resuming for your studies a whole year but you are working?
Am not in Canada oo and never seen anybody in that situation b4 but I believe am making sense.

Please if you submit your application online and go for your biomertics,are you going to get like an update on your application page saying u have done biometricsAsking for a friend cause after 2weeks of doing biometrics still no update on the application.

The update won't tell you Biometric done, but you will see something like it's not needed at the moment

My dad submitted only statement from his company's account....with no personal account...

It's actualy no isuse...just get the bank to wroite a reference letter statin who the sole signatory is....

Several people on ds forum has done that before

You said your Dad not your Uncle, it very possible your dad can go any length to see you through your studies but I dont think uncle can do that....am not saying it's not possible but still risky.

He gave me a his company statement of account with a closing balance of 7m.

I demanded for his personal account buh he told me he doesn't often use his personal account and as such funds doesn't run through the account.

In addition to his company statement of account he also gave me the CTC of the certificate of incorporation of his company plus CTC of the particulars of directors showing he is a director in the company.

Although I also intend to use my dad as sponsor.

He also has a closing balance of 1.5m in his personal statement of account.


Please kindly advise on whether I can get a trv with my situation.

2.Duration of your proposed study?
3.Is the company belong to your uncle alone? Is he married?, how many children?
4.Hope monthly flow of funds is good in the company's account?
5.It's better if your uncle can still include another SOA apart from the company's.

People can only guess about the reasons for denial to know the main reasons apply for your GCMS notes.
Curriculum of construction project management is different from your PGD civil engineering,they are 2 different courses but are related, what I think is that you need to convince the VO with your SOP reason why you are going for Construction Projects management, don't remove any credentials you have submitted before just package well and reapply

If you have funds for the duration of your studies put it i.e. 2yrs course, say total tuition is $26k, say boarding and feeding $20k and others say $6k and you have $75k you can put the total for the 2years ($52k) cos you will still have a lot left in the account but If not just calculate for 1yr ($26k) and make sure sources of the fund is clear so that the VO will know you won't lack funds to complete your studies.

Your application number should be in the confirmation letter sent to you when your application get to Ghana...I think oooo cos I don't know much about paper.....it should start with S30.........

It's not compulsory your company sponsor before you can get leave letter, it only shows how useful you are to them and the qualifications you are bringing when you are through.....but make sure you get it from HR department cos they might verify it

Why another UG in the first place? Is not that it's not possible but risky, you should have applied for both then use the PGC,/ PGD to apply for Visa then change when you get there if you want to.
If you calculate total funds for the UG it should x2 of the PGC/PGD and I want to believe your sponsor is not hour parent.
Try and apply for the GCMS you will know where to start.

I was told the same thing by my agent. I got admitted into Conestoga college. He said the school demanded a copy of the statement of account of my sponsor to facilitate the trv process, plus I will also need to submit one at CIC. Which school?

Watch out guys....you do not need to provide your SOA to Conestoga College, it's not in their requirements, I don't know fo other schools ooo, maybe your agent need it for another client in another embassy.

Any of the letter that is To Whom, make copy and any that is addressed to the embassy original, your employment and confirmation letter make copies.

Did he call the number back to know where the call came from? Don't just guess it's from the embassy, but since you applied online anything is possible, your application can be accessed anywhere. PLEASE NOTE AM NOT SAYING THEY PROCESS NIGERIAN ONLINE STUDY APPLICATION ANYWHERE APART FROM GHANA.

ok thanks for your information do appreciate, but one more question have something that bother me, during my reapplication sponsor is my mum brother and i include is age declaration certificate and also my mum marriage certificate with my dad, ( during when was filling the form at cic website i wrote two name during family class that is my mum name when she not married and when she is married with affidavit when she was not married) and my mum marriage certificate has little two sentence which was write by Arabic that specify the venue when married took place and forget to translate it, please can that affect my application?

I think the completion letter they gave you should the ok if that's what the hospital says, cos your test expire after 12months
