I got refused the second time though I haven't gone for my document... Reason I call it failure is that I wasn't called for medical and my documents have been dispatched. Meanwhile last November, three different pastors told me that I will win visa though I never told them to pray for me based on my visa application, they just had the vision and I was happy since I never mentioned anything concerning travelling. But still I got denied.


In February, I went to a pastor he looked at me from head to toe and told me he is seeing me travelling to school somewhere, I was shocked but today my passport is been dispatched without medical, I hope no one go come tell me say make I expect miracle... I Don tire... Even na same pastor come tell me say as he dey look me so, in future I am not destined to marry a lady of a fair complexion meanwhile dark lady no dey move me self .... Wetin to believe.... Lol this one na die... Chaiiii no be prayer dey work here my people, I fasted like Jesus.... In fact fasting no be fasting, night vigil upon night vigil now see where e Don land me. My people package well you go win visa

Tell your dad to put the fund in fixed deposit and maybe explain the money for tuition fee, it's better you use you dad and another person as Co sponsor.

You will not attach any document with the CIC forms, each documents have where you upload them, any additional documents will go along with your SOP space. Peace

You never mentioned paper route and online applications get tracking number too after biometrics, and if you track the message what you will get is Visa application, tracking ID No. .................. is being processed at the Canada Visa Office . To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.
After biometrics too you will get a mail from VFS saying.
Dear ............, Visa application,Tracking Id No. ........... – has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office , Lagos on 00/00/0000. An auto e-mail will be generated to inform you when the application is returned and is available for collection at the application Centre. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

A frnd was there yestday and the mail he got frm vfs was this... Dear ********, Visa application,Tracking Id No. 20160318******* – has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, Lagos on 18/03/2016. I think normal it should be Accra ghana.. not visa office Lagos

I will advise you to pay, I think my refusal was based on that (purpose of visit) cos I didn't pay the deposit to reserve my sit, which means you might not attend school after you have ur TRV
Check the bold sentence please, I know you are doing ur NYSC with the CIC in Ghana that's how you knew the reason for the purpose of visit

Guy what's your problem, who said anything about paying school fees? All I mentioned here is Acceptance fee guy, NSCC will ask you to pay $400 to secure your seat within 3weeks to maybe 1month after receiving your admission mail, so what's your advice to that..and I don't think anybody ever mentioned that paying tuition fee guarantee TRV.
Comments on this thread is to help and learn from each other, paying tuition is not a bad thing (but at your own risk) after all you will still pay it unless you have no plan to attend school.

Bros no vex this is coming late I don't think you can use one month old SOA and also how well you can explain the relationship btw you an your uncle depends on two of you in your SOP and th sponsor letter but am not 100% sure it will work, but It might.
Also if he can make dome payment into you account say first semester tuition that might convince the VO too

I sent my visa application on the 18th of feb and i got alert for medical on the 1st of march after doing the medicals on the 3rd this guys denied me the visa on the 4th without seeing the medical results. i got my application returned today, dont see any reason it was rejected. Any help?
I'm thinking of deferring the admission and reapplying. My semester was supposed to begin by May. Thanks

Are you sure all the documents you submitted are legit? Cos they might have call somebody or found out after sending you medical request and you mean they didn't give you any reason for denying you.
Also have you checked the consistency of the forms you filled for errors.
I don't think they can denied without reasons check your documents well and I think before reapplying please request for you GCMS file to know exactly why to avoid another REJECTION

Yes you can use it CIC have access to WES, that's even better than the transcript you upload cos WES have verified and confirmed it

You are right that was the same thing I was talking about nobody is saying someone should pay school fee but acceptance fee which which still count towards tuition fee, well everybody have right to his/her own opinion.
If you think you need to pay your acceptance fee b4 your application please do and you can still do otherwise. Peace

i think people just have to be smart and take advice that applies to them. Your advice above applies to me cos I got a letter of admission from brandon university and it was an unconditional letter. However those with addmission from some schools that require a financial commitment is regarded as a conditional letter of admission. The cic clearly states that if an offer is conditional the applicant MUST proof that he/she has met the conditions of that offer. This is the case of our guy that was denied, he didn't show he has met the condition of the offer by not showing the proof of payment to show commitment as requested by his institution.
pls not that the key word here is when the PAYMENT IS REQUESTED BY THE INSTITUTION.
I advice the person involved reads other pages and seive out info as applicable to him......However correct understanding of what you are reading is paramount.

My Uncle is retired and he is on a pension plan from where he retired from. He has a company which I don't think is registered. I will add sponsors data page of international passport to the documents I want to submit then. Regarding affidavit of sponsorship, I think the declaration of sponsorship should be enough. Leaning towards online route or is paper route better?

Going online is deemed more expensive ad you have to pay via a debit card. It's your preference in the end.

Online is expensive but for me convenient, after filling the CIC forms laptop you can submit on your phone but to avoid mistakes and spending you go for paper route easy for you to read over and over

That's normal message for online application, you don't need to track ur Application on VAC /VFS site if you apply online unless you've gotten passport request and have submitted, for now track through your CIC profile

Paper route less expensive, more documents, can only be track on VFS site
Online expensive because of dollar, can be track on your CIC profile, less documents, you can go with online if you have easy access scanner, your own laptop wit Internet.
It's your choice, you will get results within CIC estimated time with both options

I'm in the process of getting admission and I just received the message below from my school although I am yet to respond.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies has received our recommendation and have indicated that they require a bank statement that provides proof self of funding for one year’s tuitions and related fees and cost of living which is $27,303 Cdn. This may be provided electronically. So we can complete the processing of your application could you provide proof of funding at your earliest convenience.

How do I tackle this?

Is it okay to ask my sponsor to lodge money in my account in this case, or I get my sponsor's SOA with an accompanying letter?

And does time frame of the SOA really matter here?

EDIT: There was a commitment letter by my sponsor in my application for admission.

Please, your kind suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Adeyemidare is right....your sponsor SOA is ok and if you have some money in yours too you can include it...my take ooo
