my admission letter was sent electronically. Pls how do I submit the original since I printed it from the internet.
Print out and use it like that, what they really need is your student ID, name, course etc, which they will still confirm from your school, I don't think they care if it's original or copy

Well, I've always submitted the fixed deposit certificate and the SOA showing the date of fixing, just for purpose of clarification to the VO
Here is what I was thinking he wanted to do, 10m total in SOA and later fixed 6m out it after printing the SOA and now claiming N16m do you think the VO won't suspect anything?

Hello,
1.Please can I get the study permit questionnaire form, or the link to download it. Can't seem to find it.

2.Also, if my sponsor fixes(Fixed Deposit) the money in his account after I have printed the statement with the money intact, will it appear as a red flag when the VO's confirm the account statement?
Thanks

@wayaa007,@Nadia94,@temzybabe,@ayooluwatoni,@all
No.2.
Hope you are not trying to kill two birds with one stone?
If you present the SOA and fixed deposit certificate as different funds in the same bank .....Guy that might be a red flag cos there will be date on the SOA and fixed fund cert. Which the VO can conclude as I am now. Source of the funds is from the same account
Just my suggestion if thats what you are trying to do

For the FAMILY INFORMATION form. After filling the form online and saving it. Will I print it and then sign it and scan and attach it online. How can I do this
If you are going online route, you don't need to sign any of the forms, just fill, validate and upload.
NOTE.
Not all forms need validation, anyone that you see VALIDATE just click it after filling.

Temzybabe , arcayo, adeyemidare...please help a brother
Have you uploaded all the documents you need to? If you have not it won't show you submit button.
When filling the questionnaire did you answer yes to medical? If yes and you didn't do upfront medical just cancel the application and start another application from another questionnaire to generate another code, then proceed to new application.
@Temzybabe..if he didn't answer yes to upfront medical part won't show up and I think it's better for him to start another application than to put "Medical report will be updated upon request"

This is not true if by "all international transactions were done in US Dollar" you mean the actual conversions were done using 199N to a $. No matter the legal tender used to facilitate international transactions, your bank is mandated to make the conversions based on the subsisting rate as instructed by the CBN. So in other words, if I was to pay CAD to a school in Canada that should have set me back by 1M Naira. Even if my bank used USD to make the payment, I am only to be setback by the same 1M Naira and not 1.3M (because they used USD). THAT'S A FRAUD
We are saying the same thing, I didn't say if you are to paying $1000CAD bank will deduct $1000USD but they transact international funds in USD so the equivalent of $1000 CAD in USD will be transferred.
If the guy is charged in USD equivalent he should confirm from the school how much they received from him then he can conclude if it's fraud or mistake from the transaction officer then he can take it up with them

Hi Guys

been great following the tread..presently have admission to SAIT, a post grad cert in database administration and i graduated like 9 years ago, though been working as a network administrator since. for my trv, do i stand a better chance if i use a sponsor( not closely related) or i do self sponsor myself.

someone said because of my age, the VO might think i wont return if i do self sponsor?how true is this? though i know rate of decline is high now.

will appreciate if anybody can assist in clarifying.

thanks
1. Are you married?
2. Can you be given leave in your present place of work?
3. If you are capable you can sponsor yourself, if not get a co sponsor with you, with 9years of working the VO also will think you should have some funds
My tot though...
VOs always think everybody will not come back what you need is to know the reasons the refuse Visa and try your best to tackle them and leave the rest to God's hand, period. grin grin grin

Good day house, I hope everybody is fine. I was denied visa about three ago on the ground of :
*insufficient fund
*limited employment prospect
*employment status
*personal asset

I then filed for a GSM file to know the actual reason for my denial, I received my GSM and here is what is written:

Application for study permit, taking into account the economic situation and the labour market in the country, I am not satisfied that the applicant has sufficient back grounds to ensure compliance with the conditions of stay as a student. For all these reasons, I am not satisfied that the applicant be a temporary student in good faith according to R179, doubts whether immigrant intent and does not use legal means to remain in Canada. In light of the information and documents in my possession, I am not satisfied that the student has demonstrated have sufficient financial resources to cover its costs of stay and study in Canada for all of these reasons, refusal.

Please gurus in the house, abeg how am I going to deal with this?
My friend my friend, you are back how you dey?
With the GCMS file you should now know the problem with your application and how to solve them, my guess are.
1. You are not currently employed
2. Your sponsor is not directly related to you or source of the funds is not clear to the VO or insufficient.
NOTE. They Re my guess.
You can list the documents submitted so that people in the house can put you through.

Hi, everyone. .pls the "fund available for my stay" will it include the tuition fees or just the maintenance funds ...cos I have paid my full tuition and I only have maintenance funds left in my SOA ...
Both the paid fees and the one in your account is the available funds you can also indicate it in your SOP if you have one.....just attach the receipts with funds available/SOA

Hi SegunWamiri, good morning

I changed my mind about the UG stuff. I'm going for diploma now. I've seen two schools I want to apply to but the problem now is, the requirements on their website is high school transcript with some certain average. No reference was made to the equivalent for international students (both schools). Should I just go ahead and upload my SSCE in place of high school transcript?

Please, anyone should feel free to answer. Thanks
Buy scratch card and scratch it and upload with your SSCE certificate to show you exam no.

Hello nairalanders you guys are awesome.

Please a quick question,

A house of rep member has informed me he's willing to provide me with his statement of account as a sponsor.

He's not my family.

Please how do I convince the vo for proof of relationship.

Are you from the same constituency with him/her? If yes he/she can say it's a constituency scholarship he pledged during b4 elected but you/he/she will need to explain how you were chosen...let's hope it will convince the VO
