Romance / Article No. 11: How To Have A Blissful Marriage by architectB(m): 11:05pm On Dec 07, 2013
Welcome again to your favourite blog (www.relationshipsandlifeintruth..com), I believe you enjoyed your day?

We just finished talking about some reasons why marriages fail and today we will be talking about the basic secrets to having a blissful marriage.

I will not tire of saying that the reason “Man” is always having problems is because he has decided to jettison God’s prescribed way of doing things in favour of his own myopic ways.

If you are reading this and you desire to have a blissful marriage then the first step is to make up your mind to believe and do the word of God.

Refuse to accept any information that is at variance with God’s word.

The Bible says God is all wise, which consequently means that anyone that listens to God is also wise; the Bible says:

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. – Proverbs 27:17

In essence, the more you spend time with the word of God which is “wisdom”, the wiser you become.

Now, God’s prescription for a blissful marriage is simple but like salvation, many think it cannot possibly be that easy and still be effective.
His prescription is:

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. – Ephesians 5:22-33

I make bold to say that any couple that does the above scripture will undoubtedly have a blissful and heavenly marriage.

Now, let’s examine the above scriptures.
Verse 22 says for the wife to submit to her husband even as unto the lord; this means that the woman that wants to commit to marriage MUST be ready to submit to her husband.
Forget all this talk about the man and the woman being equal, that is not and can never be true because God already said that the man is the head of the woman.
It might sound nice to say “what a man can do, a woman can do better”, I have no grouse with that and I even agree largely with the saying but if God says the man is the head, then the man is the head.
Please don’t think I am a male chauvinist because I am not, I just like standing for the truth at all times.

It is important for the woman to know that her husband is her head; that is the only guaranteed way of enjoying your marriage.
Remember that two Goats cannot drink from the same bowl at the same time, in the same vein, the marriage cannot have two “heads”.
And the irony of the whole thing like I have observed is that a submissive wife always gets her way in the home.

If as a woman, you go into marriage with the “my opinion MUST count” mentality, then you are surely going to have a bumpy marriage and believe me, you are the one that is mostly going to be affected.

That’s why the woman has to be very careful in “choosing” her husband and making sure the proposed husband is submissive to the word of God.

A Christian husband that is submissive to God’s word will never lord it over you because he will love you just the way the word of God says to do.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

The Husband has the responsibility to love his wife in spite of her shortcomings because the word of God says he should.

He should love his wife like himself (ready to give himself up for her) because she has become one with him.

How do I love my wife? You might want to ask; let us first start by defining what love is.

The Oxford dictionary defines love as a person, a thing or an activity that you like very much; as good as this definition is, it is overtly limited, myopic and lacking of any depth.

Now let us see the way the word of God defines love in 1 corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud
5 or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged.
6 It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (NLT)

It behooves on the man to love the wife in the same way as spelt out in 1 corinthians 13:4-7 which shows clearly that the man cannot enslave his wife in anyway but do all in his power to make the woman enjoy the marriage.

He will not demand his own way but would look out for his wife at all times.

Looking at the definition of love and considering the fact that the man is committed to loving the wife as the bible says, I dare say it’s only a foolish woman that would not gladly want to submit to such a man.

I boldly declare that if the above ingredients are present in any marriage, then that marriage will be blissful without a doubt.

So I admonish you to stop taking contrary counsel to heart and focus only on God’s word which is guaranteed to always produce the results it talks about.

Until our next post, please enjoy yourself.
Ciao…

If u claim to truly believe in Jesus then you will ask him and he will make u free from this gay demon instead of trying 2 justify being gay. If u must know, u r actually not gay because God created u 2 be straight and anything contrary to what God does or says is obviously UNTRUE.

The devil is always out to make u think what God has done or said is a lie hence u think u should be sleeping with your kind but God is not deceived and i sure hope u don't let urself be deceived by the devil.

Just ask Jesus to help u and begin to declare with your mouth that u r straight and not gay, then start acting likewise; i assure u that every negative feeling will dissipate provided you have truly given ur life 2 Jesus.

God bless u as u do and congrats on ur deliverance...

Politics / Lastma And Police: To Trap Or Help Motorists? by architectB(m): 4:03pm On Jul 25, 2013
Hello,
Last week we were involved in a terrible incident at Iyana-Iworo and found ourselves totally at the mercy of Lastma officials and the police (our friend indeed).

We dropped off a colleague at Iyana Iworo and were stopped at gun point by a group of Police men. We later found out that our offense was that we dropped off somebody and it was a crime that apparently deserved the same punishment as someone that committed murder.

We tried begging for hours but they refused to budge until our colleague also got angry when the policemen started getting violent with us even though we remained civil all along.
They went as far as using their gun butt to hit me on the stomach and when we threatened to make some calls the policeman that was most violent started shouting that nobody can do anything to him; My name is BRIGHT AIGBOGUN (THAT IS ACTUALLY HIS NAME BY THE WAY) an Ishan man, nobody can do anything to me.

So if you know any BRIGHT AIGBOGUN, tall, dark police officer, just know he goes about in the company of some other police men hitting innocent citizens with his gun butt.

We had to plead with our colleague to calm down because it was almost getting to the point where they will shoot and claim we were thieves.

LASTMA officials came and compounded everything cos b4 we cud say Jack, their Tow truck was there and when we refused to "cooperate" as law abiding citizens they insisted on towing the car, which they did eventually after purposely destroying the bumper.

At the end of the day, my colleague's car was impounded for almost a week because we dropped off somebody and refused to bribe the police and LASTMA. We ended up paying N70,000 to get the car.

It begs the question, was LASTMA set up to lay traps in wait for innocent citizens? a simple "pls u cant stop here" wud have solved all the problems but instead they will hide and wait 4 u 2 make d mistake; so that they hv a flimsy reason for xploiting u but God will judge them.

As 4 d police, i have long had d impression that they were armed robbers in uniform and their every action only gives credence to my assertion.
It is a shame that these things happen and the govt of the day does not attempt 2 do anything about it. I feel very sorry for this country, no wonder our citizens abroad choose 2 never come home.

WHAT A SHAME!!!

Top 11 Bundesliga players YOUR Premier League club should be looking to buy this summer

13 Jun 2013 10:59

Our German football expert Ross Dunbar looks at the top 11 German players who could be on their way to the Premier League

Getty

The Bundesliga is the new rock 'n' roll after two clubs from the German league - Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund - reached the Champions League final last season.

We've all heard of star names Mario Gotze, Thomas Muller and Mario Gomez, but there are plenty of lesser known players who could do an excellent job in the Premier League for YOUR club.

We asked German football expert Ross Dunbar to raid his big Bundesliga brain and come up with 11 players who Prem scouts should be looking at this summer.

We've got wingers, strikers, midfielders and defenders aplenty from the bargain bucket so which ever position your club needs, Ross has a solution for you.

Check out his tips and let us know who you'd like your club to snap up.

Jonathan Schmid, right-winger, SC Freiburg

The Frenchman was one of this season's outstanding performers, helping Freiburg to fifth spot and a place in next season's Europa League. At 22, Schmid has improved significantly under the guidance of Christian Streich over the last 18 months, assisting six goals and scoring 11 this season.

Not an out-and-out winger, as such, Schmid is a dangerous wide-forward with good pace and adopts a more direct approach. Although left-footed by nature the freedom allowed by Streich in his attacking play has increased his return on the goalscoring front. He is one of the Freiburg attacking quartet establishing one of the most intense pressing styles in the Bundesliga.

Even defensively, Schmid can use his dynamism to shore things up, tucking inside, and allowing a positive right-back to bomb forward. At times this season, Streich has used the Frenchman as an emergency full-back, such are the important qualities of Schmid in this Freiburg setup.

Whether you could take the 22-year-old out of that ethos and make it work at another club would make this season a relative risk.

Fee: £3m-£4m

Stefan Aigner, right midfielder, Eintracht Frankfurt

Stefan Aigner on the ball for Eintracht Frankfurt

Karina Hessland

Aigner was one of Armin Veh’s summer signings in 2012 from the 2.Bundesliga, as Eintracht Frankfurt cherry-picked the best talents in the second-tier. From 1860 Munich, the 25-year-old has looked a class act consistently for Veh’s side who qualified for Europe next season.

He played all 34 games for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga with nine goals and eight assists to his name. In 2011/12, he struck 11 times from right-midfield for 1860 in the 2.Bundesliga.

Technically assured, Aigner is an orthodox right-sided midfielder. The balance needed with Sebastian Jung’s attacking responsibilities means he can almost become a right-central midfielder in the 4-2-3-1 formation.

A strong passer, with good vision in possession, In a league that still accommodates 4-4-2, Aigner would provide a really wise investment for a right-sided midfielder.

Fee: £4m

Philipp Wollscheid, centre-back, Bayer Leverkusen

Phillip Wollscheid in action against Metalist Kharkiv in the UEFA Europa League

Lars Baron

Wollscheid has been touted even for a place in the German national team after excellent, committed performances in the Bundesliga. Leverkusen picked up a historic win at the Allianz Arena and Wollscheid was a colossal performer, both aerially and his timing in the challenge.

Physically imposing, from the old-fashioned mould, Wollscheid is taking off under the stewardship of new head coach Sami Hyppia.

Wollscheid has a long-term deal at the BayArena until 2017 and will be part of the backbone that Hyppia will hope to take into the Champions League next season.

Fee: £7m-£10m

Artjoms Rudnevs, striker, Hamburg SV

He arrived at a difficult time for Hamburg in the league – and was even jeered by his own fans after a frustrating debut.

But the Latvian hitman is adapting well to life in Germany. Rudnevs exploded into the spotlight with Lech Poznan, hitting 22 goals in 29 league games and attracting interest from across Europe. Eventually, Hamburg thrashed out a £6m deal to sign the 25-year-old last summer.

Hamburg struggled in the early months of the season, but when things picked up following the signing of Rafael Van der Vaart, Rudnevs was one who thrived. He reached double figures (12 goals) for 2012/13, including two goals in their 4-1 win over Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park.

Strong, powerful and with a fine eye for goal, he thrives in one-to-one partnerships, such as, with Son Heung-Min for long spells of last season.

Fee: £5m-£6m

Pirmin Schwegler, central-midfielder, Eintracht Frankfurt

Just over two years ago, Schwegler was part of the Eintracht Frankfurt side that suffered relegation at Dortmund on the final day of the season. As painful as it was, the midfielder was already was a key part of a new-look team in the 2.Bundesliga and on their return to the top-flight last season. He is the club’s current captain.

The 26-year-old is an all-action, tough midfielder and a real leader in Eintracht Frankfurt’s team. His positional intelligence has been important in forming a decent partnership with Sebastian Rode. Schwegler would adapt comfortably to the British style of football and is strong in 4-4-2 and a variety of formations.

However Schwegler has announced that he has extended his contract so it will be difficult to prize him away from Frankfurt

Fee: £4m-£5m

William Kvist, defensive midfielder, VfB Stuttgart

William Kvist battling for possession with ex-Stuttgart man Kevin Kuranyi

Dennis Grombkowski

Kvist has fallen out-of-favour recently at VfB Stuttgart and could be available for transfer this summer, either permanently, or on loan.

The defensive-minded midfielder tackles well and can break up the play. He still made 23 appearances last season, though, and is well rated in the Bundesliga, with Hamburg one of the clubs interested.

Former captain of Copenhagen in the Champions League and a part of Euro 2012 for Denmark, the 28-year-old has experience and would be a decent signing.

Fee: £5m (Potential for loan)

Timm Klose, centre back, 1.FC Nuremberg

Timm Klose holding off a Duesseldorf defender

Dean Mouhtaropoulos

Like Wollscheid, Klose has made his mark in Franconia with Nuremburg. His style to the Leverkusen man is very similar: physically dominant, aerially strong and with a quick turn on the deck.

Klose is being eyed up by VfL Wolfsburg and former trainer Dieter Hecking, with money certainly not an issue for the Volkswagen-funded club. The 22-year-old is also a Switzerland international.

Fee: £4m+

Nikola Djurdjic, striker, Greuther Fürth

Nikola Djurdjic with his eyes on the prize, which could well be a move to the Premier League
Let’s make an exception for Greuther Furth who will be in the 2.Bundesliga for 2013/14.

Incredibly, their Serbian frontman Djurdjic is still on the books in Bavaria after moving from Norway in January. A late developer at 26 years old, the striker made his mark on loan with Helsingborgs in Sweden, showing impressive performances against Celtic in the Champions League qualifiers and Hannover 96 in the Europa League.

A good leader of the frontline, quick, energetic and dangerous on the last shoulder, Djurdjic is definitely worth another season in the Bundesliga, at least, or in the Premier League.

Fee: £1m-£2m

Mame Biram Diouf, striker, Hannover 96

The 25-year-old Diouf will be a familiar name to followers of Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers. The striker joined the Red Devils from Molde in 2009 but struggled to make the breakthrough at Old Trafford. He had a short loan-spell at Ewood Park before Hannover 96 spent around £1.5m to secure his services.

Since then, he has scored 27 goals in 51 games with a further 11 assists, but particularly impressive in the Bundesliga with 18 goals in 38 games. Amidst talk of Robert Lewandowski’s departure from Borussia Dortmund, Diouf was linked as a replacement for the striker.

For Hannover and their counter-attacking system, Diouf is a perfect match. His strength is ideal for leading the line, but his finishing and composure in-front of goal is very important.

Fee: Up to £10m

Julian Baumgartlinger, defensive midfielder, FSV Mainz

Julian Baumgartlinger (L) challenging for the ball with Timo Gebhart

Alex Grimm

A bit of an outcast at one of the league’s “smaller” clubs, Baumgartlinger has impressed in his recent spell in the Bundesliga having arrived from Austria Vienna.

With a combative style, the 25-year-old is more suited to a holding-midfield role, but is just as important in starting attacks for Mainz. He’ll rarely venture across the halfway line and impacts the game more without possession, and in starting attacks from the back. He’s the sort of midfielder that will quietly go about his business.

Considering Mainz’s performances in the Bundesliga, he may have more to offer in the coming years.

Fee: £2.5m-£3m

Kevin Trapp, goalkeeper, Eintracht Frankfurt

The Bundesliga is awash with terrific young goalkeepers at the moment, like Bernd Leno, Fabian Giefer, among others. But not many have eclipsed the performances of Frankfurt keeper Kevin Trapp.

The 22-year-old kept six clean sheets last season and was one of the strongest goalkeepers in the league, including the top sides.

In today's day and age, the attention paid to the best world footballers and their off-pitch antics is equal to the coverage that they get on the pitch.
With plenty of outspoken stars in the game at the moment, there is no drought of bad behavior across the world on a daily basis.
Some players like Mario Balotelli and Joey Barton are expected to be on this list, and of course they are, but there are also other world football stars who have had their fair share of crazy off-pitch incidents this season as well.
Find out where Super Mario and Barton rank in the 10 craziest off-pitch incidents of the season.

10. Is This Chelsea or the Blue Man Group?

Just last week, Chelsea found a rather unique way to unveil their uniforms for next season.
Kit-maker Adidas came up with an ad campaign to tease the new uniforms that made players like Fernando Torres, David Luiz and Eden Hazard look like members of the Blue Man Group (Here is a behind the scenes look at how they made the advertisement happen).
Other Chelsea stars to get the smurf-like skin treatment included John Terry, Gary Cahill, Juan Mata and Petr Cech.
The uniforms themselves have not made an appearance in the general public yet.
9. Sorry Carlos, You've Been Suspended

Carlos Tevez has taken the role of Mario Balotelli—at least in the off-pitch incidents category—at Manchester City since the departure of the controversial forward.
Tevez was recently handed 250 hours of community service after he was arrested for driving while disqualified and without proof of insurance (via BBC).
Now, one can only wonder what the Argentinian playmaker will do during his 250 hours of community service, which is quite a hefty fine.

8. Erik Pieters Is Not Invincible
Photo Courtesy of the Daily Mail
Photo Courtesy of the Daily Mail
We all do stupid things when we are angry, but none of us have ever gone as far as PSV defender Erik Pieters did after he was sent off on January 18.
Pieters was playing in his first match since returning from a nine-month recovery, when he decided to make an awful tackle in the 67th minute against PEC Zwolle.
To make matters worse, Pieters decided to take his anger out on a piece of glass in the tunnel and the result was a bloodied, cut-open arm.
Next time he gets sent off, let's all hope that Pieters does not injure himself or another piece of glass.

7. Monsieur Barton Tries to Adapt to French Culture
We have all tried to talk in a funny French accent before and have failed miserably.
Joey Barton, who is on loan at Marseille from Queens Park Rangers this season, tried to talk in his own French accent for an entire press conference after his debut with the Ligue 1 club.
Afterwards, everyone but Barton was laughing at the performance of the 30-year-old, who thankfully has not tried his fake French accent in any press conference since.

6. Bonucci Gives Robber a Beating
Hi-res-153051178_display_image
Valerio Pennicino/Getty Images
If there is one thing that we have learned this season, it is to not mess with Leonardo Bonucci.
Back in October, the Juventus defender was approached by a potential robber. The robber did not know what was coming after he threatened Bonucci with a gun.
Bonucci proceeded to punch the robber and the conflict was all but over as the prospective thief fled with an accomplice in a van (via Fox Sports).

5. The Shirt Swap Seen Around the World
Hi-res-155342465_display_image
Alex Livesey/Getty Images
Arsenal defender Andre Santos has not had the best year for the Gunners, and his dubious off-pitch moment back in November will be remembered more than his actions on the pitch this season.
At halftime of Arsenal's match with Manchester United in November, Santos asked former teammate Robin van Persie to swap shirts and the United forward obliged to the request of the much-maligned Brazilian.
Afterwards Santos apologized to Arsenal fans, but the negative outcry against Santos was not quelled (via ESPN).
4. Loic Remy Moves to QPR after Beating Owner in FIFA
Hi-res-162956524_display_image
Clive Rose/Getty Images
Loic Remy was a hot commodity in the January transfer window with Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United vying for the signature of the Frenchman.
While some players pick a club because of their location or the manager, Remy chose his new club based on his performance in a FIFA game against QPR owner Tony Fernandes.
According to The Sun, Remy described it as "a special moment" and then he signed on the dotted line to become one of the many January signings at Loftus Road.
Newcastle may have the last laugh though, as the Magpies are set to stay in the EPL for another season while QPR are one of the favorites to be relegated.

3. Mario Being Mario
Hi-res-147365733_display_image
Joern Pollex/Getty Images
At this point in his career, if Mario Balotelli does not do something controversial on a monthly basis it shocks the world.
Despite moving from Manchester City to AC Milan in January, the Italian forward continued his antics back in his home country.
Back in February, Balotelli ordered a life-size statue of himself to be built in the pose that he struck after scoring at Euro 2012 against Germany (via The Guardian).
The Mario madness did not end there as just last week, the 22-year-old was caught smoking in the toilet of a train on AC Milan's way to Florence to take on Fiorentina (via Metro).
Oh, and there was also the little dust-up he had with Roberto Mancini at the Manchester City training ground in January before he left the blue half of Manchester (via Daily Mail).

2. Barton's Twitter Tirades
Hi-res-162866523_display_image
Dean Mouhtaropoulos/Getty Images
Joey Barton is one of the most active footballers on Twitter, and for the most part, that is a good thing.
However, in a few instances this season, Barton's excessive use of the social media website has come back to haunt him.
First, there were the remarks he made on Brazilian starlet Neymar (via Metro).
Then came the Twitter assault on PSG defender Thiago Silva just a week ago (via The Guardian).
Despite his lack of a filter in 140 characters or less, we are sure to see the continued Twitter rants of Barton as long as he is a relevant footballer.

1. The Deadline Day Deal That Wasn't
Hi-res-155578729_display_image
Laurence Griffiths/Getty Images

Deadline day of the January transfer window was especially dull this season except for the antics of West Brom forward Peter Odemwingie.
The traveling circus that Odemwingie took with him during deadline day started when he said goodbye to his teammates at West Brom's training ground (via ESPN).
The Nigerian forward then left the Midlands on his own accord to drive down to London to supposedly sign with Queens Park Rangers.
Odemwingie's antics confused everyone involved in the deal, but the truth was that West Brom and QPR never agreed on a deal.
After failing to move to London, Odemwingie was forced to make an embarrassing trek back to the Midlands and attempt to save face.

Utaka, Sodje, Olofinjana see yellow; Mikel wins with Chelsea

ENGLAND

John Mikel Obi, Victor Moses (Chelsea): Super Eagles midfielder John Mikel Obi helped Chelsea to ease past Sunderland with a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge on Sunday- their third successive win at home and jumped above Tottenham on goal difference into third place. It was Mikel's 26th appearance for the reigning European and FA Cup champions while Moses was not listed for the game after scoring in the Europa Cup competition against Rubin Kazan on Thursday.

Victor Anichebe (Everton): Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe fired blanks in his 19th appearance of the season for Everton as the Toffees were forced to a 2-2 draw at the White Hart Lane on Sunday by Tottenham.

The Beijing Olympic attacker has so far scored five goals this season for the David Moyes side.

Shola Ameobi (Newcastle): One-cap Super Eagles striker Shola Ameobi was an unused substitute for the Magpies in their lone goal win over Fulham on Sunday. Ameobi has scored only one goal in 19 EPL appearances for Newcastle.

Osaze Odemwingie (West Brom): Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie was not listed in West Brom's 2-1 home loss to Arsenal on Saturday. Osaze has played 23 times for the Baggies thus far this season- starting in 13 of those games.

The game was Seyi's only second game for the club where he is on loan from Hull City. Olofinjana was in action for 90 minutes of the game. Injured Dickson Etuhu was understandably not available for the match. Etuhu has played 20 games for Rovers this term.

Sone Aluko (Hull City): Super Eagles fringe forward Omatsone Aluko who is still out injured was understandably not listed on Saturday in Hull City's 1-0 home win over Middlesbrough at the Kingston Communications Stadium. Aluko has scored eight goals in 23 appearances for the Tigers this season.

Less than two months after being charged in the shooting death of his girlfriend, sprinter Oscar Pistorius has been spotted on the track and could soon resume training.
A picture of the double-amputee athlete, wearing his famed blades, appeared in the Thursday edition of the Afrikaans-language Beeld newspaper.
Pistorius has denied intentionally shooting his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in the bathroom of his South African home on Valentine's Day, saying that he mistook her for an intruder. The court released him on bail and his next appearance is scheduled for June.
Pistorius has been a dominant Paralympian and made history last summer when he competed for his nation at the 2012 London Olympics.
The photo of him at the University of Pretoria running facility was taken by a passerby on March 24 but did not surface until this week. Pistorius' agent told the Associated Press that the sprinter was "having a jog" around the track.
Family members have insisted that Pistorius remains traumatized by Steenkamp's death but his agent said a return to training could come any day now. -------- Los Angeles Times

Hottest Celebrity Soccer Supporters on Earth

Soccer, the World's most popular sport. It may not be the most favored in the USA right now, but it's growing. With popularity comes inevitably a nice selection of attractive women who in some way or another have their own inner love for 'The Beautiful Game'.

Here are 25 of the Hottest Celebrities who are Soccer fans. There are plenty of models, partners and more than a few TV Presenters in here, who loved the sport so much that they have to be involved one way or another.

It was tempting to put the upcoming face, and pretty face, of US Soccer, Alex Morgan into this list, but I felt as readers, you would be expecting something a bit more external to an actual player.

Soccer doesn't quite have the glamour with it that perhaps other sports do, in terms of being a fan. In the UK, where it is arguably at it's peak regarding passion, fans have to endure cold and demanding trips around the country in support of their team, where the true support is not just in the top league and top clubs.

So celebrities attending games can be a rare sight. Having said that, other the years the likes of Victoria Beckham (who isn't included in the list.. not that your wife isn't a good looker David..) has frequently attended games. But as you'll learn from this list, some women seem to feel it's not just turning up to games that marks you as a 'fan'. No, just wearing their apparel in an appealing manner is good enough for me.

Here then are 25 of the Hottest Celebrity Soccer fans, from around the World.

He has agreed to put pen to paper on a new contract worth £220,000 a week for four years.
The Ivory Coast superstar, 29, has been locked in talks with City officials since he got back from international duty last week.
Midfielder Toure had become disillusioned at after contract talks had stalled for six months.
His agent Dimitri Seluk exclusively revealed to SunSport last month that Toure was ready to quit unless his contract was sorted out quickly.
City’s response was instant — and they moved to thrash out a new deal to hold on to one of their biggest stars.
Toure, who joined from Barcelona in a £24m switch in July 2010, has been fundamental to City’s success in the last couple of years.------------- The Sun

Arsenal legend Kanu revealed he had written off £3million from crisis club Portsmouth after announcing his retirement.
Nigerian international Kanu launched a legal case against Pompey following leaving Fratton Park after a six year stint in 2012.

The striker, who scored the winner in the club’s 2008 FA Cup final win over Cardiff, said: “I can now reveal the story that has been around since I left Portsmouth. I did not ask the club for millions of pounds, I dropped the whole matter of wage money because I know the club was in big problems.

“The reason I have not returned is because I feel it is time for me to hang my boots up as a player. I will be coaching and promoting my foundation through football.

“The thing that makes me the most mad is that the media have got the story completely wrong. Life goes on and forgiveness is number one for me.

If Lionel Messi's Career Ended Today, How Would He Rank Among All-Time Greats?
By
Michael Cummings
It's a simple but tantalizing question, and no matter how you answer, an argument is sure to follow.
Imagine Lionel Messi's career ended today. How would the magical Argentine rank among football's all-time greats?
On the one hand, Messi has won the Ballon d'Or—awarded yearly to the world's top player—an unprecedented four straight years. At the age of 25, he has already won it all in the club game with Barcelona, from domestic titles to European and international honors.
On the other hand, he's neither won a World Cup nor sustained his dominance for as long as legendary players like Pele or Diego Maradona.
So, again, how would you rank Messi among the game's all-time greats? Is he already up there with Pele, Maradona, Franz Beckenbauer, Ronaldo de Lima and Johan Cruyff? Or does he need to do it all for a little longer?
Pls make sure to add your thoughts to the comments below - tnx... bleacher report

Sports / The Shame Called The Flying Eagles Of Nigeria! by architectB(m): 10:05am On Apr 03, 2013
[b]The Shame called the FLYING EAGLES OF NIGERIA!

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria just crashed out of the African Youth Championship at the semi-final stage. Now they are hoping to clinch the Bronze medal which in my mind is very unimportant.

While the tourney was on, I was faced with a dilemma in that when we lost a match, I was sad because nobody likes to lose and when we won, I was still sad cos the fact that we were using over aged players comes 2 the fore.

How can u possibly explain a team that uses the same set of players to execute the same age grade competition on three different occasions; is that saying they were only 15years old when they played the first tourney? Even if they were, then that naturally should be a cue 4 us 2 take advantage of the situation and bring in new players so that at the very least, we can build our player base. But in Nigeria, we prefer 2 use the same set of players over and over again all in the bid 2 win tourneys.

The question wud now be – what is the effect of our action on our football?

Our result at the senior level over the years has been appalling. Imagine a country like ours, replete with talents everywhere and yet we have never qualified 4 the quarter final of the world cup; I think it’s a shame cos in my mind, brazil might just be the only country on the face of the earth that has as much talent as we have but they have 5 world cup trophies 2 prove it but what do we have; always struggling 2 qualify 4 d event.

I only hope we change our ways so that we can start harvesting the good from our good and wise actions. I want 2 see my country win the world cup soon and I believe it is possible, but first let’s do right.

As for our flying Eagles, let the team be disbanded and let us form a new team made up of truly young players that will represent us at the world youth championship. If we lose, so be it but then we would now have truly young players that we can groom 2 take over from the old legs that have been giving us false hope all these years…
