You know, u r absolutely right, now I think about it. There really is no age of consent in the bible. There are laws against all sorts of things in the bible, but there are no laws against marrying children (or am I wrong?). That seems strange, doesn't it?

I don't know why our country is yet to see this as a national emergency. I know some NGOs and women orgs are trying their best but this is an all-hands-on-deck kind of problem.
A great percentage of our kids undergo sexual abuse. If you or your friend has not been sexually molested, you'd know someone who has. If you don't know someone who has been molested, your friend knows one. That's a high number.


I believe the problem lies with the police institution. They way they handle some of these cases before it gets to court is pretty disgusting.

I think virtually every female in 9ja has been sexually molested or harassed in one form or another by the time they reach adulthood. They just won't let on about it.

I think U R 100% right about the police. Many of them are sexual predators and molesters themselves.
