Hi everyone, please I'm looking to make contact with anyone who has information on Brandon Manitoba. Would appreciate any advice I can get on Jobs, housing and school for the kids. Also the viability of relocating in these trying times I.e covid-19. Thanks
P.S. I'm currently based in Edmonton but duty calls may have to move to increase the chances of pnp for my sister cos with the current scores she stands little to no chance. I also know I have to stay up to a year to be of any benefit to her hence the need to move as soon as possible. Thanks again |

UNN has one of the most organized transcript processing system in the country and it's all done online. You don't need to know anybody just click here iTranscript and carry go. I would also advise you to use WES because reports emanating from people that have used ICES lately indicates that they are becoming overwhelmed with applicants from West Africa which has increased their processing times to between 10 and 12weeks. Also they have started requesting for further verification from the schools in some cases. verification from UNN is also straight forward and fast too. Finally, I'm pretty sure you can use your Zenith Card for payment on most if not all the ECA organizations. You can pm me if you need help navigating the site. Hope this helps. Cheers coolangel54: Processing ECA (M.A English) with ICES is how much please and can I use my Zenith masters card? I graduated from UNN, does anyone know someone that can help out in PG school UNN? |

I would advise you to get a new one. Although the IRCC website says it's valid for 6months, I know of a guy in one of the Whatsapp groups I belong to whose application got refused as incomplete because of expired PCC even though the PCC wasn't up to 6months. So please it's better you get a new so you can sleep better. This wait is agonizing as it is don't add the uncertainty of a valid or invalid PCC to it. Some VOs may interpret the same documents differently but why take the risk. My two cents For the document to upload, the small pinkish one is the main document but I uploaded both. ready4glory: Good evening people, please I need your help. I'm currently uploading my post-ITA documents, and I'm having doubts concerning the document to upload for my Police Clearance Certificate. Is it the long white document with my passport, or the smaller one? Also, my PCC says the certificate is valid for 3 months, however, I did it in September, so technically, it expired in December. I have read in some posts that it's valid for six months, what do I believe? Thanks. |

jjohndoe83: Good morning sirs and madams I am doing evaluation with IQAS. Please, is it advisable to send my physical application package to my school so that it can be sent along with my transcript, thereby saving costs. Will it raise any red flags. Anyone done this before? Thanks in advance. I don't think there's anything wrong with this as long your transcript is put in a separate envelope from your other documents before they are all packaged into the postal envelope. I recall one of the pioneers of this thread did the same thing; Iphie25 you can read her posts on Part 1. |

WOW!! Just WOW!! I'm really lost for words, you are the realest MVP. Congratulations on your PPR. May you find favour in your new country. If I may chip in regarding the 3rd placeholder, I believe a form will be given to you after a new medical has been done. I think you should also upload that as well. Cheers and God bless gogedda: Good morning house, I feel it is only right I say this here. I have been away from NL for several months now. I started this journey in 2017, infact I have forgotten most of the dates. Anyway, "Re-medical" ame in 14th of January, the second day (15th), PPR letter came in. Below is my timeline.
Application: Single applicant ITA: Sept, 2017 AOR: Oct 19, 2017 MEP: Nov 2017 FTD to LVO: Nov 2017 FTD to AVO for interview: May, 2018 Interview waived: Jan, 2019 Re-Medical request: Jan 14th, 2019 PPR: Jan 15, 2019
My PPR letter requested for the following: - New PCC - Schedule A - Client information: Submit passport for visa issuance after you have completed updated medicals - UPDATED FAMILY INFORMATION: You must advise us of any change in your marital status or family composition. All family members must be listed on your IMM008 and Additional Family Information forms. Failure to comply may result in a delay in the issuance of your visa.
Only 3 Placeholders were provided ( the 3rd one falls under "optional documents " where we can upload LOE.). I have uploaded my new PCC & Schedule A in the 2 placeholders.
My questions:
- What is the 3rd placeholder for ? - Do I need to submit the physical Schedule A & new PCC with my Passport while sending it to Accra? - Do I really need to fill and submit "Additional family information form" while sending my Passport to Accra since my family composition hasn't changed since I submitted my application?
- Seniors who have submitted their PPR & gotten COPR should kindly help out.
Thanks all |

Sorry I missed this, he also included an LOE ArcUgo: This was what my friend did and he has gotten his COPR. After they refused giving him a letter, he simple wrote a formal application requesting for the same reference letter, they responded in kind. So he got his senior colleague to write him the letter on plane paper then attached his complementary card. He also got another colleague to do an 'affidavit of co-worker' on his behalf.
In summary, he combined the following: His formal request letter, Response letter from the company where they stated that they do no issue work experience letter for immigration (mind you it was on the company letterhead), Reference letter from his supervisor+complementary card and company ID. Affidavit of co-worker from another colleague, Employment letter, Promotion letter, Banks statement highlighting salary deposits, His company ID CARD
Overkill right, well he got his PPR in 96days and is chilling in Toronto presently. I hope this helps |

Let me tell you what I would do if I were in your shoes. I would select employed and state FREELANCE ENTREPRENEUR as my job. I would avoid cooking up anything that I cannot defend if it comes to it. Please DO NOT select unemployed especially if you are NOT using a GIFT DEED. Finally, back it up with a detailed LOE. Also, please note that you do not need to submit reference letter for a current job if you are not claiming points with it. johnnybravo1990: I need your advice concerning proof of work experience. I already have my letters from my previous places of work which make up over 3 years of experience. However, for the past almost 2 years, I haven't gotten any serious full-time job. I have been into many things: irregular hours on different activities which are mainly cash-on-hand transactions, and the present job descriptions are totally unrelated to the NOC for my previous jobs for which I have letters of experience.
Is it safe to put unemployed for the past 2 years in personal history? Or I should just cook up something(maybe, say business).
In a case like this where I am not going to submit any letter of experience for a current job(I have letters from previous jobs), is a LOE necessary to explain why? |

You can start by reading all about the process from Page 1, follow the links to the official IRCC website. First find out if you are eligible for any of the Express Entry programs, most importantly if your work experience falls under NOC A, B or 0. Read read and read again. Nigerians read ooo! I dey beg una. When you research about the process you will be able to PLAN, STRATEGIZE and MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS.Alternatively, if you don't have time to read, then engage the services of Consultant. Make Dem follow Chop temmarbaba: Good morning guys! Am new to this great thread. Please how do I start my application? I only know I need to write IELTS. I don't know anything further. Exactly, it's only a dubious person that imagines that everyone is out to stab them in the back. LOTRISH45: Only soiled hands roam around the internet looking for the kind of hubris you dumped here as advice. You are not aspiring to go to a jungle, but a developed society where you can only temporary run from the law if you have crime baggages. Fix yourself and have rest of mind as you proceed with this journey. Fellow Nigerians here or outside will have nothing on you, if you are upright. |

It's obvious that from your response you have failed to grasp the points that I was trying to make. In this case, the judge actually sided with the applicant and rightly so. In other words, the VO was wrong to make a decision based on that letter without giving the applicant the opportunity to defend him/herself. I was only trying to tell you that your advise was quite wrong. If all the people that have contributed to the success of this thread decided to keep to themselves and become faceless, then a lot of us including you will not be here today. I know so many people here have met physically and formed bonds of friendship that would most likely last a lifetime. Most of these people are "Nigerians/Canadians" but for you to conclude that Nigerians are out to stab each other in the back is quite unfortunate. I did not say that the applicant was innocent but that the judge was write to allow him/her defend themselves by presenting evidence to refute the claims of arranged marriage. I only hope that you don't experience such a situation were you are judged without being able to defend yourself. Perhaps then and only then, you will understand the message I'm trying to pass across. I rest my case 234ng44uk: You're entitled to your opinion. So am I. But why do I have this feeling that you're in that class of the so-called "concerned Nigerians"? Bitter people and enemies of progress. You were so blind by whatever has blinded you to see that the VO actually made a decision based on that letter.
