engrchykae: nigerians deserve bad government. buhari your lord and savior is visiting south Africa after like a month after the killing of nigerians in south Africa and you are hailing him. when a marauding fulani herdsmen is killed in taraba, arrests will be made in less than a day. I'm still surprised you weren't among those that were tear gassed in SA, |

gidgiddy: What I saw was unarmed IPOB protesting in front of a building which I believe is the South African house of assembly. Only the South African police know why the tear gassed IPOB but I like the maturity they showed by using non deadly methods such as rubber bullets and tear gas
They are cowards for being dispersed by rubber bullets? What did you want them to do? Stay and fight with the South African police? Do they have a police permit to stage such protest there, is it that none of them even have a half brain to know that the protest against Buhari was ill timed and not the best location for now? You don't have your Biafra yet, someone comes speaking on your behalf against the attacks and killings against you and you are protesting against him. Unarmed or armless, the SA police messed up, live bullets would've been the most appropriate instead of rubber bullets and tear gas against ingrates. |

Nigerian government should conduct psychiatric test for all the creatures living in South Eastern part of Nigeria.
They are the major victims of South Africa xenophobic attacks at same time protesting against a leader trying to rescue them.
Buhari was blamed for not taking action against South Africa now the issue is being resolved you turned to Biafra again. Very pathetic my brother |

jibrilELsudan: UNION BUILDINGS = ASO ROCK.
THEY WENT INSIDE THE UNION BUILDINGS TO PROTEST.
AM SO DISAPPOINTED. SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE SHOULD HAVE USED LIVE BULLETS.
WHAT A MASSIVE SCALE DISRESPECT TO GO PROTEST AT THE UNION BUILDINGS.
EVEN SOUTH AFRICANS THEMSELVES NEVER GO PROTEST AT THE UNION BUILDINGS. This goes to show South Africans that Nigerians are lawless and more reason why they must go on in their attacks on Nigerians. |

RomanGreen: Please educate me on how IPOB approach is illegal... Am waiting biko It is morally wrong and bad, did they even obtain a police permit to protest there is the first question? Nigerians have been accused of constituting nuisance in SA, xenophobic attacks and deaths have been recorded, Buhari is in SA to talk on their behalf and what must be done to prevent any future occurrence, some IPOBians still went protesting against him thereby cementing it in the hearts of South Africans that Nigerians are a violent people and they go about constituting nuisance everywhere they go. So you can see this is the "wrongest" time for such protest, this should have been saved for next time especially not after a recent attack on Nigerians |

Bawizzo: judging from the last xenophobic attack, the south African police will embrace this opportunity to maim and kill those dunderheads protesters with a legal backup.
make IPOB use Just imagine, Buhari went to speak against any further killing of Nigerians yet they are protesting against him, if he didn't say or do anything about it, same people will complain. Funny enough, 90-95% of those don't even have legal papers to remain in SA |

akdjr: I guess his speech is taken out of context. What the president is trying to say is for them to obey the laws of the land of the country. If I can drive one way here in Nigeria and I can't try it in Canada, it simply means I will behave like a Canadian in Canada. My only take on the statement is that our president choice of words at times in addressing critical issues often complicate it. You 101% correct here, most Nigerians do feel they can behave abroad same way they do in Nigeria, we have heard news of Nigerians being attacked in Kenya, Ghana, Togo, SA even as far as India and Malaysia all because of the bad eggs amongst us. Asian and recently South American jails are having Nigerians as one of their highest occupants, Nigerians have successfully formed their own drug mafia in southern Italy and so much more all around the world. Of course we have hard working and law abiding Nigerians out there but the bad eggs are doing more harm than good. |

Fashdeejay: the real question my brother, is how did they make 9.2b in a day? What did the customs do to make that much in one day. Cars aren't coming in, nothing is being imported through the land borders, so except they are receiving high bribes to cross illegals, how did they make that amount in a day? Na customs.. I knew I'd see something like this here, obviously you didn't even read the report before posting. The report said that since the closure of the borders, ships destined for Benin ports are now coming to Nigeria, increased ships, increased revenue. Most of you should endeavor to read the main story and not only the topic before posting. |

OhiOfIhima: So the revenue generated is more concern than the wellbeing of Nigerians..
Bring the price of the commodities down to where you n your APC govt met it.. Rice den was going for 7-9k/50kg while now is 17-20k. A kilo of chick den was #650 and now #1200.
Your income doesn't put food to our table... Don't go and start a poultry or rice farm and start raking in millions, be waiting for the FG to open the borders so that cheap goods would flood Nigeria and you can be happy |

As I said earlier, did they inform the Oyo state government that they were leaving for SA and were they sending some of their income to the state? This applies to other states governments. |

Now the state is trying to be magnanimous by giving them something, some people are complaining that it's too small. |

Na small small, the demand in the local market has to be catered for before moving out to other places because of the high demand, with increased production and saturation of the local market, you'd start seeing it Benin. This and other brands can be found in major markets all over Anambra but I wonder why most states are not taking the rice revolution serious like Anambra and a few other states. |

The problem with you in particular is your inability to be consistent or stick to one narrative.
That was why you went from claiming Anambra with your old Monika to now claiming Yoruba.
Stop wasting my time until you make up your own mind on what narrative to push Why beating a dead horse, IPOBians are not ready to leave Nigeria to go get Biafra, all talk and no mouth, do it it the right or wrong way, no problem but show some seriousness. What does zik,s ambition have to do with the yearning of over 30 million Igbos who want biafra Why didn't the 30million Igbos speak up against him and his ambition, why didn't they tell him that they wanted Biafra or were they all blind, deaf and dumb? Perhaps they were scared to speak up for themselves and only Zik was man enough to speak on their behalf |
