Today being

one Area4Area said that Boko Haram is a blessing onto Nigeria that it is far better to have them around than Ipob.
Nland shall bear me me witness.
Typicalof IPOB sympathizers, someone called me a Boko Haram member and I replied that it is even better than being an IPOB brainwashed miscreant.
You didn't read that but now trying to twist what was said, I'm not bothered about what you wrote but to let other forumites understand how IPOB miscreants twist the truth

If it turns bloody, it will be in the east. You will only attack your fellow people. Any attempt to attack other tribes might result to total destruction and extinction of you Igbos. That's why you have been warned to use your heads instead of foolis.hly taking orders from a man hiding in UK and pushing you to your early graves. There are better ways to fight for whatever you believe in and you have to start from your representatives and governors. Some of you cannot be chanting biafr.aud while some others are chanting presidency by force. When ya'llbare truly ready, you will all move back to your region and force your leaders to return with you. Anything other than that, you will continue to get shot for illegal gatherings over a proscribed ipob.
They don't have the brain to decipher that the bloodshed and destruction would be confined to the SE, I guess they'd appreciate when it starts.
@bolded, who would even give them any audience now, is it the governors and reps they've been insulting since forever?

Kanu, IPOB and supporters have been insulting Igbo leaders, any Igbo who doesn't support their ideology is insulted. It is now you want them to care about you.
Why not tell Senator Ekweremadu, SE governors, NASS members, religious and traditional leaders they've insulted before now to care about whatever happens to IPOB sympathizers.

What are you then saying?
Do you know that Nigeria doesn't run a unitary govt on or before independence? Can we revert to the independent consituation?
Why should the govt always be against IPOB and South East ? Have the govt cared to investigate the root cause of the agitation? Why can't the security forces use such force against the herdsmen and Boko harem?
It's never a crime to agitate/ protest for a thing.
It's a crime if it's a terrorist group and its members are terrorists, tell Boko Haram members to come out and protest na

You should have more sympathy for Nigerians than IPOB. Boko haram, ISWAP and killer herdsmen are likely going to kill far more Nigerians than IPOB in the future.

Pity Nigerians not IPOB.
I have no pity for IPOB or her supporters, they want death and they can have it, same for the other terrorist groups you mentioned.

You think that people like America and the EU who all said that IPOB isnt a terror organisation are fools? You think you are wiser than them? The minimum requirement to be classed as terrorists group is that the organisation must be armed.

The authorities say IPOB are armed, yet nobody has ever seen IPOB with arms except the authorities

The authorities say IPOB is a terrorist group, yet nobody in the East is terrified of IPOB except the authorities

The authorities say IPOB are violent, yet the only violence attributed to IPOB started with the authorities being present.

A time comes when you have to ask, 'Is IPOB the problem or the authorities?'
IPOB brainwashed miscreants will continue to be killed needlessly till they start using their God given brains.
The authorities had labeled IPOB and Boko Haram as terrorist groups and it remains so.

The MeleZenawi know that Once Biafra goes away from Nigeria without Ijaw and others in the SS, it shall not take more than a week before the Ijaw country and other possible countries in the SS emerge. So the MeleZenawis use every blackmail in the books against those agitating for restoration of Biafra.
I guess the Ijaws and others in the SS had told you they'd be leaving immediately Biafra goes away

You are lagging behind in reasonable thinking... those who knows how Boko haram started in Borno will always condemn the shooting of the IPOD members ... That was how they started shooting armless members of Boko haram, until they started getting public sympathy , members and arms ...today we all are suffering it... If the govt fails to handle the Biafra people properly , same Boko haram issue will play out , and they would have no option to let them go...
This is the part I like, same killing and destruction just as Boko Haram has done to the NE

He started the struggle in an unintelligent manner.

You don't beat a drum of war if you are not ready for battle.
He started an hate filled struggle, he poisoned the mind of his gullible followers and they also started hate filled campaign against other tribes and even their kinsmen who have diverse views from theirs.

He wasted the lives of many Igbo youths, he has forgotten that secession can't be achieved through violence and hate speech.

He should finish what he started, he shouldn't back out he should be liberal and diplomatic in his approach, instead of attacking Fulani today, Yoruba and Niger Deltans tommorow, he should convince and solicit for support.

Many people are tired of this union called Nigeria but you can't bully them into believing whatever ideology you have.

He should stop his media propaganda of making some Igbos believe he has genuine backing from Isreal, US and whatever Countries he always claims are supporting IPOB.

If he continues is hate filled campaign I am sorry to say that many lives will be wasted and we all know who will have the highest casualties.
You just said my mind

Considering the fact that we locked down our economy during the second quarter, a 6.10% drop in GDP is not bad. We shut down our air and land boarders and the price of crude oil crashed to as little as 0$ at a point. Even US and UK that expended trillions of dollars to keep their economy going still posted worse second quarter result than Nigeria. in th

With the gradual easing of the lockdown in the third quarter in Nigeria and all over the world couple with the improvement in crude oil prices, the next figures will definitely be better. However, we may still not escape the recession. Things should pick up fully by the fourth quarter and by first quarter of 2021, we should start reporting positive GDP growth.
Leave those hate filled kids alone, they'd never say or see anything good about the country, they saw a lower figure for Nigeria and not happy. They believe if Nigeria performed worse it's going to affect Buhari alone.
Meanwhile Japan is -27% and not -8% written above

Yes, I agree with you that it's speculation, but a very realistic one.
The truth is that, not every Igbo man wants Biafra, but the reality is that majority wants it.

Whichever side Asaba goes, the rest of Anioma will join it. Now, the side Asaba will go with is already obvious, they will go with their Igbo brothers once Nigeria breaks up. Osadebe who was the most influential Anioma man believed that they will always go with Igbos. The current Asagba of Asaba, Chike Edozien, believes that across the Niger is where their interest lies. Same with Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. Again, Asaba has merged with Onitsha. Nollywood has made it the centre of our film industry which has fostered our integration. Many people now live in Asaba and do business in Onitsha yet despite all these facts, you still decieve yourself that Anioma people will chose Benin over their Igbo brothers shocked shocked

You also believe that those villages that were criminally divided into two like Egbema, Asa etc. and pushed into SS will decide to go with them where confusion and fight will be a daily occurrence due to differences in language, culture and tradition instead of simply rejoining their blood brothers? So blood is no longer thicker than water??

Honestly, I can only laugh at you all as you continue to decieve yourselves. You can call it speculation but the odds are 98:2 against you grin

Don't get it twisted. Biafra is one people, one nation but Niger Delta comprises of many diverse ethnicities with different interests. So, while we can speak with one voice, they can't.
In the same Niger Delta, there are many areas that are die-hard pro Biafra. Example of such is Oyigbo and the surrounding Asa areas. Oyigbo is just a stone throw from P.H.
Asaba too is already merged with Onitsha and they will most likely go with their Igbo brothers along with the surrounding areas.

If you believe that Itshekiri will belong to the same country with the Ijaw alone, then you're decieving yourself.

The only part of South that can possibly stand as a country is the Akwa-Cross. The rest will be balkanized and most will join Biafra while the remnant will form Ijaw rep. Many of those River Niger tributaries will serve as the boundaries which automatically makes them international waters.

Lastly, Nigeria will break up under its own weight of chaos, inefficiency and bankruptcy. It is only a matter of time.

Everything you've said is only based on speculations, you've not galvanized the whole of the SE and you're already predicting for the SS.

You this afonja man claiming South South, how exactly can you stop our food supplies when most of our food needs will be grown locally?

You're not making sense, how exactly can you stop flights or ships from going to Biafra? You mean you will shoot down commercial or cargo planes flying across to Biafra or you will attack ships passing through the river to a port in Biafra?

How can you achieve that?
When the time comes, you can ask those questions. Ask those landlocked countries how they started international trade with other countries through their neighbours

That agreement you agreed with is what we are talking about, we were only correcting those who had been shouting "international waters" and can therefore make use of the resources of others without question

Last time I checked, South South has many ethnicities and they all have different interests. So do you mind speaking for your own group?

The creation of SS is just for political convenience in Nigeria. Once Nigeria breaks up, South South will break up too and each of the ethnic groups there will decide where to belong.
The interest of the Ijaws is not the same with the Itshekiri or Ibibio and the rest. The earlier you know that, the more reasonable you will sound.
You speak for yourself too, has the SS told you they are breaking away from Nigeria and/or breaking away from each other, why predicting for them?

What dues are you talking about? Did Nigeria build any canal like the Seuz or Panama that our ships will have to pass through? Or are you saying Biafra bound ships will pay dues for passing through Atlantic ocean or the Rivers Niger or Imo?

Funny people grin
Ships to and from Biafra be it through any river will still pass through Nigeria's landmass and your ships must not be found on another country's territory without permission. Do you know that any point along the Nigerian coast 12 nautical miles into the sea is solely Nigeria's property and no other country can be seen transversing that territory, it's same all over the world for countries with a coast to the sea or ocean. You can only pass through with permission.

there is international law for situations like this and it's simple to settle ...the water is treated as international water

secondly there is no reason niger would not want to allow ships enter Biafra
Agreement with Nigeria is the keyword, no agreement no deal.
It would be settled no doubt but Biafra must first agree that it's trying to use the resources of another country
