The Biafran movement is what is important. It is far more important than Asari Dokubo or Nnamdi Kanu. Dokubo and Kanu can whatever they like, their mouth is their property. What I care about is that they do their quota to keep the Biafran spirit moving on
Their quota that is already divided and you are doing nothing to unite both causes?

This why I laugh at people who talk about a "united Nigeria", it is not possible. Islam and Christianity will forever be fighting each other for supremacy in Nigeria
Don't go religious, a reply to Asari Dokubo is enough.
I know you're not happy with his speech but I'm always speechless when people like you can't condemn him anytime he rants against Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB or the Igbos.
Are you scared of him or what?

According to Islam, kafirs(non-Muslims) should not be allowed to be in charge of their destiny. Kafirs should be silenced politically. Kafirs should not be allowed to rule over muslims. That was why the north destroyed and sabotaged jonathans government until they took power back.

Every evil perpetuated by the north is being instructed by Islam.

That is why no herdsmen will be sent to jail because according to Islam, killing of kafirs is not a criminal offence.

Islam is the problem of Nigeria.
Go and start killing Muslims and stop shouting kafirs or whatever upandan. If you can't then go and rest and stop disturbing nairaland with your hate speech against Muslims

It is evident that Asari Dokubo is acting out an agenda.
Asari Dokubo in one of his previous videos had told Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB to go choose another name for their country and that the name Biafra belongs to his people but they refused.
I remembered when this same man was championing IPOB and Biafra and some of us warned about relying on the Ijaws and other SS minorities, we were laughed at and called names, it is unfolding already

ItsMeAboki:
Some PigDiots may want to read this forwarded message and receive some common sense from one of their own Chieftains.

WHEN COMMON SENSE IS NOT COMMON!!!

From a prominent Igbo Chieftain.

I remember a time in this Country when all the six Ministers in Jonathan's kitchen Cabinet were all Igbos.

Ayim Pius Ayim was Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala was in charge Finance, Emeka Wogu was in Labour and Productivity, Berth Nnaji was in Power and Energy.

Dieziani Madueke was the powerful Minister for Oil.

The six of them outside the Federal Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at the larger FEC.

Whatever they decided would eventually be the position of Government.

In six years, this was the situation.

Okiro and Onovo had the Police under their control.

Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled the Army.

These powerful Igbos could do and undo.

Nigeria was in their pockets.

Rather than care about the poor Igbo chaps scattered all over the Country, they were busy diverting Billions of Naira into their accounts at home and abroad.

The Second Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared the money.

The Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through nine States, three of them in the South East, they were not bothered.

They refused to pay the Chinese the Counter part fund. They shared the money.

Enugu/Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to their fellow Igbos, they abandoned them.

Who is to blame ?

Who is marginalising the Igbos ?

You had your chance, you bungled it.

There was only one Yoruba Minister worth mentioning at the time, Akinwunmi Adesina.

He was in Agriculture. His budget was less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labour had over 10% for his Ministry.

Ayim had unlimited access to the treasury for the benefit of himself and Family members.

The poor Igbo guys meant nothing to him.

If an Igbo becomes President tomorrow after Jonathan, will there be any difference ?

The Igbo man will marginalise his fellow Igbo people...

PLEASE SEE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Under Former President Jonathan, A South Easterner:

Senator Pius Anyim - former Secretary to the Federal Government for 5 years - Igbo.

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala - former Minister of Finance and Coordinator of the Economy for 5 years - Igbo.

Senator Ike Ekweremadu- former and incumbent Deputy Senate President for 5 years plus - Igbo.

Emeka Ihedioha - former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives for 5 years -Igbo.

General Ihejirika - former Chief of Army Staff for 4 years - Igbo.

Diezani Alison Madueke - former Petroleum Minister for 5 years - Ijaw/ Igbo.

**Senator Stella Odua- former Minister of Aviation for 4 years - Igbo.

Please add these to the List. All since the present Democratic dispensation in 1999.

Evans Enwerem - Igbo- Senate President.

Chuba Okadigbo - Igbo- Senate President.

Adolphus Wabara - Igbo - Senate President.

Ayim Pius Ayim - Igbo - Senate President.

Ken Nnamani - Igbo - Senate President.

Chinedu Nebo- Igbo - Minister of Power.

Bert Nnaji - Igbo - Minister of Power.

So who really is marginalising who when all these had all the chance in the world to get their kinsmen their fair slice of the National cake ?

Did they not get the slice ?

Hell they did. Where did it go ? Into their individual pockets.

Ask them.
So unfortunate

Don't mind them, those who witnessed the war always pray never to see another unlike this ones always praying for war when they've never even been engaged in a small riot.

selemempe:
Nnia nwodo is only trying to play the role of elder states man, albiet badly.
He believes that killing an hausaman will precepitate to hausa killing many igbo in the north
What he fails to see is that events are rolling now and cannot be determined by one man anymore. A lot of killings and counter killings are going on in the across the country now and unlike in 1967 when hausa carried the middlebelt along the MB feel left out now and also suffering from fulani aggression

Killing of an hausaman in igboland now will not gv the feared result...yes some igbos maybe killed in the north but then some more hausas will be killed in the east and if it ever becomes a full blown conflict btw igbos and hausas, the coalition that helped them defeat us in 1967 may not be assembled again....so nigeria could divide finally
Just don't pray for anything bad to happen, the number of Igbos in Kano alone is far greater than the number of northerners in Igboland, be guided. You are assuming that the MB will not go with the north but what if they do, it was same assumption that the Igbos had during the 1966 pogrom which costed thousands of lives to be wasted in MB.
Be guided and speak for yourself alone, don't even trust the SS minorities, they had done it before and can repeat it again

I doubt Garba Shehu even understands what the president said and the path this government wants to go in regards to importation.
According to Buhari, anything that can be grown in Nigeria, even if it can only cater for 10 people, ban
the importation,no matter the consequences.
If Nigeria is not self sufficient in it now,by the time it's importation is banned,in x years,we will, even if major irreparable harm would have been done in the process.
That's the kind of economic mindset of the present ruler of Nigeria.
It is you that doesn't understand what the president said, importation from importers can go on but the government would not give you subsidised dollars as usual, go source for your dollars elsewhere.
We need raw material, medicines etc and the importers of such can be given the scarce dollars but importers of foreign rice, Apple, grapes etc can go source for their dollars elsewhere, hope you now understand

As a committed Democrat I believe in democratic resolution of all crisis and mistrust.

Let referendum be conducted and allow the untrusted Igbos to decide how to chat a new course.

Recycling same message breeds nothing..

At this point and as far as you uncomfortable with them, subject to referendum and allow them stay or leave with their un-trusted attitude.

Simple democratic referendum will solve all these squabbles.

There is an Igbo adage that if you must eat a Frog, make you eat the one that is big.

If Igbos must be in a disorderly, chaotic dead end, let it be that of Biafra and not Nigeria.

Brothers who live n their own separate house alone have a much better chance at settling their issues than when they living in a compound where all the neighbour's are all fighting each other

Governor never said that Anambra economy will be bigger than Lagos.

The Governor said that (using the current trend of investments into the state) he projects Anambra will surpass Lagos in new investments.

What is controversial about the statement or does it mean that Nigerians lack reading comprehension.
This is what has been baffling me with these haters, many have never been to Anambra but choose to be experts on Anambra.
And for those making it look as if the economy of Lagos is great, have you considered the population vis-à-vis the GDP? Don't give me any Wikipedia stats, we need NBS stats.
China's GDP is greater than those of Hong Kong, Singapore, Norway combined but can they please tell us if the Chinese GDP per capita is close to those other countries? Lagos that is full of slums, poor and wretched, what's the need of the huge GDP of Lagos when it's not reflected in Lagosians because of the huge population?

nextstep:
First, Nigeria is not America. Every country has its own methods/laws for eligibility, so we can't really use one as any basis to determine the other. Second, there was no "scandal", just propaganda from misinformed/disingenuous opponents (scandal implies covering up a misdeed, which was not the case). President Obama was born in 1961, in Hawaii which became a state in 1959. Also, one of his parents was a US citizen - hence he was American by birth to American, as well as born in the USA.

But on to the statement "not born a Nigerian"...

The part of the Constitution relevant to Atiku says of birthright citizenship: "every person born in Nigeria before the date of independence, either of whose parents or any of whose grandparents belongs or belonged to a community indigenous to Nigeria."

Inor in Nigeria till 1914.

Finally, let's not forget that the sole arbiter of who is eligible or not - INEC - did not disqualify him.
Provide proof or tell Atiku to provide.
Atiku is a Nigerian no doubt but he must provide proofs that he's a Nigerian by birth, read the constitution and come back
