naptu2: You didn't ask a proper question, but I know what you are trying to get at. People asked a similar question during the China summit last year and I've answered this question many times on Nairaland in the past 8 years. I will search for my old posts and post them here when I get home.
This is not a state visit, rather it is an international summit. Heads of state and government do not always provide individual welcoming ceremonies in a summit in which many heads of state are attending. There are going to be over 50 leaders at this summit, do you expect the emperor or prime minister to provide individual (one by one) welcoming ceremonies for them?? Does Donald Trump hold welcoming ceremonies for all world leaders that visit New York for the UN General Assembly??
However, like it was done at the China Summit last year, the prime minister or emperor will provide a general welcoming ceremony tomorrow when the summit begins.
Now, if your question is about the location of the prime minister, I answered that question on the first page of this thread (read every post on that page) You tried lecturing these brainwashed kids who can't reason with their brains but only expect Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB to reason for them, kudos to you but if na me, I'd rather they continue wallowing in their ignorance since a simple Google search on their phones is so difficult for them. You tried anyway bros. |

Emescot: Okay did the Ivorian president go to Japan today? So those that welcomed the Ivorian president also welcomed the Nigerian president? Or that is the cloth they wear to welcome African presidents? That particular picture is Photoshopped, I don't know about the others though, but if they can Photoshop that, then what exactly are they hiding? You have no proof it was photoshopped, stop all your conspiracy theories that none of you had proved |

If dem born any IPOB well, let them try it.... When they made mouth that nobody can arrest Nnamdi Kanu, they whisked the mumu to Abuja and locked him up, IPOB nack mouth, nack mouth, nothing happened. This same Ekweremadu and some Igbo elders begged, and used their connection and they release the guy and he ran out via Cotonou and now running his mouth in hiding. IPOB dey nack mouth, dem just start python dance, dem run go UN, ECOWAS, UNHCR, WHO, everywhere writing letters that Buhari is attacking them. Just do like useless bokoharam and fight or keep kwayet... Don't mind them with their mouth, they'll be shouting as if they can do anything but the moment python (Japanese or Nigerian) show face, na genocide we go dey hear with letters they've sent everywhere including to heaven |

I wonder why the man decided to attend a trade fair in japan instead of G7summit , particularly when the Japanese president is away for the G7summit , education is truly important for proper understanding and decision making in life Is Nigeria a member of the G7 and was he invited? Education is indeed important |

Nigeria is a small country in the scheme of things. It may happen in mighty countries like china or saudi arabia or iran or russia or even india....try genocide again in nigeria and AU will start from u b4 EU and america reach ur side
Nothing will happen other than a few riots in the north and a call for calm by elders AU, EU, UN, ICJ ECOWAS, US etc, let IPOB try their threat first then we can continue |

landforeast: I don't just understand, how can a president of the country fly in into a country when the prime minister is still attending G7 summit, hoe can he enter a country without any official welcome from the government. How can he travel four days to the date of the official event, there are many questions yearning for answers. And I expect Nigerian intellectuals to ask intelligent questions. What if Nnamdi Kanu is right, what if these people has been fooling us all this while. Tell IPOB to go and attack him already, una gragra and noise too much, tell them that they have enough time to perfect their plans to attack. |

izombie: if they get their hands on him they will do to him worst than they did to ekweremmadu. I hope buhari addresses nigerians living in japan. Na there ipob go catch am. Bubari must not hide himself over there o. He must show face o. We don't want nairaland ranting, let them carry out the threat first, Ekweremadu didn't address Nigerians and it is not a must that the president must address Nigerians over there, he has been to several countries and didn't address Nigerians in all those countries. This is not a state visit but an official function so don't use that as an excuse. Let IPOBians get him first and let's see what happens after. IPOB has said they'll get him anyhow and hit him, addressing Nigerians shouldn't be the excuse abeg, after all the boasts and nothing happens then I know that IPOB is a toothless bulldog. |

I remembered years back when Nigerians shouted when Stella Oduah said she spent billions on this airport and all she did was just repainting the airport and putting an "international" in its nomenclature, they called for a probe, it was Ohaneze and Igbo traditional and political leaders that defended her calling her " our daughter, our sister, an Igbo being persecuted, because because she's a woman, she's not the only politician that had stolen etc". Why the crying now, Ohaneze should organize the state governments of the SE to contribute money and do the needful please |

The different Nations would emerge whether anyone likes it or not. it will surely happen. Go and form your country then, why waiting for Nigeria to collapse first, is it because you now understand that Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and you their supporters can no longer get Biafra any more by yourselves so you want others to get it for you? |

njelrapheal: When did they say it several times. And how can You prove that a few people's opinions represent the opinions of the entire minority nations. Igala, Idoma, Efik, Ibibio, Ijaw Bini, Urhobo, Isoko and other groups had said it at different time, Google is not expensive so use it. |
Politics › Re: Igbo's, Nigeria's Most Misunderstood Tribe by Area4Area: 12:49pm On Aug 25, 2019 |
njelrapheal: it's so obvious that it will only be a matter of time before other nations split. I mean the ethnic minorities in the south that you refer to as Niger Delta, encomprises different subnations. Even in the event that they do not leave and all chose to be part of Nigeria it still would not create a huge problem of survival ,I mean it's not as if land locked countries do not exist. Landlocked countries exist and many are even richer than Nigeria today but what you must know is that they've signed pacts and agreements with the countries surrounding them for trade and use of port, question is that will Nigeria agree to any agreement with landlocked Biafra or you still want to think again |
Politics › Re: Igbo's, Nigeria's Most Misunderstood Tribe by Area4Area: 12:29pm On Aug 25, 2019 |
Lexokey: I think I understand you better now. You are assuming if Biafra breaks away the Niger deltans will break away too. If that happens you might have solved the port problem but how are you so sure they will break up too. You are depending on another region to make a decision which they might or might not Exactly my point |

Politics › Re: Igbo's, Nigeria's Most Misunderstood Tribe by Area4Area: 11:59am On Aug 25, 2019 |
njelrapheal: Of course you don't have to see those that support with other resources. In addressing your concerns you need to clarify what you mean by Niger Delta. Are you referring to the geopolitical zone of the south South or the oil producing states. In the case of being surrounded by 'enemies', I don't think some southern states would charge us dearly to use their ports besides there have always been a cordial trade relationship between the igbos and her southern neighbors to the Atlantic. It is also a wrong notion to assert that the igbos are not very united. A confederation will sufficiently answer both the question of oppression and that of a powerful figure ruling at the center as more attention will be paid to each confederating unit/state. At the bolded, you are thinking when they had said it on several occasions that they remain Nigeria and had rejected anything Biafra, they are subjected to Nigerian laws and there's nothing you can do about it, continue thinking and giving yourself false hope |

meccuno: i condemn when i have to. the truth is that we have gone past the stage of having trust for each other. what we are doing in Nigeria is just postponing the dooms day. we can never understand each other the best is to split now that te time is still right. or we split by force. with blood shed. IPOB within the last few years had really brought up serious hate between Igbos and between Igbos and other Nigerians. Uwazurike had called Igbos the most foolish ethnic group, Asari Dokubo called Igbos slaves to the Ijaws, Lagos state has made it a law that before you can be admitted into any state owned higher institution in the state, you must have a credit in Yoruba language, We now have Iyaloja and Babaloja as leaders in Igbo dominated markets in Lagos, The north has issued a quite notice to the Igbos to leave the north twice in the last two years but thank God for Igbo leaders going to beg them, I'm sure people like Ekwemadu, Abaribe, governors of the SE, Obi of Onitsha, Eze Nri, Yorubas, Hausa/Fulanis would never want anything to do with IPOB forever. You started the hate that we warned against earlier and it has started so gear up and stop complaining |
