Buhari wants Nnamdi Kanu to be at the forefront, he can't talk to riff raffs so tell him to head to Japan this moment, it is him that his Jibril wants to talk to

This may not be the right way to go about it but our government don't like diplomacy, yes they may not be able to see the president but they have gotten the attention of the world who are already aware of what's happening in Nigeria. Most people will criticise ipob but deep down something tells u they may get it right somehow. We all want a great and working Nigerian but Only if we can drop the unnecessary hate for one another, no one will enjoy country with the high rate of unemployment, insecurity, terrorism, kidnapping, ritual killings, epileptic power, intimidation, harrasment by the NPF etc. We really need to see things from a different view so we all can move forward .
OK, so they've not been getting the necessary world attention after all their protests in different countries, this is the one that would do the magic? Una sabi make person laff, let Buhari come back and nothing happens to him then we'll know that IPOB is just a toothless bulldog that only barks

If IPOB didn't go they will say IPOB ARE COWARDS

NOW IPOB WENT THERE AND JUBRIL WAS IN HIDING they now say we are disgracing ourselves grin

An average Nigerian is confuse... doesn't have a stand just blows with the wind like WHEATHER VANE
Buhari went for an important international summit and may even be meeting some important international dignitaries at the moment, his itinerary didn't have anything about him meeting some unruly miscreants so if the IPOB miscreants are serious, let them break through the doors, gates and walls to go get him.
A directive from Nnamdi Kanu must be respected and the miscreants must do as directed.

You still dont get it. Kanu has the right to lead a group of people to agitate for self determination according to the international law of the UN and AU charters which Nigeria has signed up to. It is the right of anybody to say they do not want be part of Nigeria any more.

It is not Kanu's job to uplift anybody or make Nigeria a better place. Kanu's job is to agitate for a separate state for his people through a referendum

Even if anyone doesnt agree with Nnamdi Kanu's methods, you must agree that it is the right of the Igbos to determine if they want to be part of Nigeria or not
Not again, why can't you, Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB go and point out these charters to those groups so that they can start doing something about it or do you mean that all your laws and charters start and end on nairaland?
You repeat same thing every time but when asked how far you've gone with it, you keep quiet.

Ojukwu didn't call for war it was Gowon that called for war, we only acted in self defense, same thing the Nigerian government is still doing with ipob we are not violence Nigerian government are giving us the violence option
If you fail to read for an exam, how do you expect to pass it? Ojukwu was educated enough to know that seceding from Nigeria was a declaration of war on the rest of the country, was it not in 1966 that Ironsi signed the anti-secession decree and Ojukwu was aware of it, why didn't he speak to Ironsi against it? Remember that Ojukwu was the military ruler of the Eastern region so you can't tell me he doesn't know the implication of declaring a Biafra

You don't know what you are talking about there is a difference between a little group of militants waking up one morning to say we are republic of niger Delta, it's not different from Boko Haram
Aburi accord was signed between Gowon and ojukwu in Ghana,
In response to the accord, the federal government promulgated Decree No. 8, which was mainly an embodiment of the accord. The accord finally broke down because of differences of interpretation on both sides. This led to the outbreak of civil war, when ojukwu declared Biafran republic
Was Ojukwu supposed to have declared Biafra knowing fully well it's against the constitution at the time and despite knowing the implications (war) and he was not prepared for such offensive.
Of course Gowon unfortunately didn't stop the pogrom in the north and reneged on the Aburi accord but that didn't give Ojukwu the right to head into a suicide mission and 3 million lives wasted because of lack of preparation, few equipment, no formidable ally to rely on in case anything goes wrong.

Thank you! But the joke is on you still, unless you think Soyinka,Momoh,Balarabe,e.t.c,lied when they said the igbos have not be treated well. You didn't think it through how absurd your statement is that ipobs should provide those things they are protesting for, which are the responsibilities of govt. It is just like saying every protesting farmer should be responsible for his own safety. Then, what ia the essence of good governance? But again, that is not anyone's problem. What we want is a country of our own where we could decide our own fates; where the govt will do its work and not abdicate it.
I'm sure you saw in my post where I said that those things are supposed to be provided by the government and some individuals and communities have been providing such because of the shortcomings from the government, what has IPOB done or contributed in bridging the gap with all their monthly contributions worldwide? I don't think there's any community in Igboland that doesn't have a school, clinic, road done by an individual or the community, tell me which IPOB has done.

As per getting your country, do the right thing and get it peacefully or go the wrong way but be ready for a war.

What did adaka Boro put in place to declare niger Delta republic, what he did is not different from what many many militant groups from niger Delta have done cause of oil and the weren't the only one Benin republic was declared but died too

Biafra republic was a well organized revolution for Biafran independents by ojukwu, and was recognized both home and abroad

Both Nnamdi azikiwe awolowo advocated for federalism and self governing, besides that Nnamdi azikiwe wasn't really advocating for Biafra, he was a man who was dynamic in nature, he spoke Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo fluently, right from the beginning he believed in one Nigeria and advocated for Nigerian Independence from the colonial masters, azikiwe was more of a northern man cause he was born in the North he believed in one Nigeria, he turned against ojukwu and supported Nigeria during the Biafran war
That shouldn't have been anybody's (Ironsi and Ojukwu) problem, they should've allowed him and his people go in peace instead of forcing them back only for Ojukwu repeating same months later

We have seen how the serious igbos you know have stopped the constant killings and raping if hapless Igbo's on their farm lands. We have equally seen how those igbos you know have negotiated fg presence in Igbo land: Tarred federal roads, constant electricity, railways, standard schools,e.t.c. We have seen it,how you championed the negotiations.
....and we have seen how Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB had helped stopped the raping and killings, how they've negotiated for more FG presence in Igboland, how they've helped in tarring some roads, built schools and hospitals, giving scholarships etc
We all know this is the job of the government but don't tell me you don't know that some individuals do it, some communities do same so why can't IPOB help by getting donations from its members in diaspora to fix some of this instead of waiting for others.
Till date, we've never heard that members of IPOB donated books to schools, medicines to hospitals or even building anything, all we hear is protest here and there and their monthly contributions by members, what the contribution is being used for is what nobody knows

....and you believe a president invited by a foreign country will allow people to even come close? That's how much to rate your IQ level. There is no shifting of any goal post...All you need is to shift your intelligence...so you can understand things in their perspective.
Question is this, is it that IPOB didn't know this before Nnamdi Kanu directed its members in Japan to carry out his threat? So Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB didn't know that the security of the president and other heads of states is the responsibility of the Japanese government and would never allow any unruly group uninvited to get close to the visiting heads of states? Is is that they didn't know this before Nnamdi Kanu issued his directive, if him and IPOB didn't know this earlier then I make bold to say that they are the funniest clowns of the century

Mandela didn't call his country Zoo but instead made it better and till now the blacks are still ruling
Mandela didn't call the white dead people, instead he played them unlike KANU that said buhari is dead and always insulting him
Mandela didn't run or hide but instead voluntarily stayed in prison, he ran like a thief and even accepted bail
Mandela always keeps to his words, unlike KANU that said he bring buhari head in 2017, Biafra will stand before today. Etc
Mandela didn't compromise his ideology and principal unlike KANU during 2019 election....saying after all their terms are met and agreed, by who?

Mandela didn't think of division but a unified South Africa unlike KANU that forget what killed his father will kill him..(civil war)

When I knew KANU is a fraud was when he insulted massob and created his own movement while can't he join massob and clear the dust which will therefore make a better move...he doesn't believe in unification but division and getting things out of lies, propaganda and disrespect.

Look at Martin Luther king, Bose of India, Ghandi, Kum of south Korea with all the treats and assassinations attempt which eventually they were killed, they never run or hide but their dreams came through....

KANU is cowards operating yahoo yahoo is more legal way

Shut up you dull afonja, if Nigeria will be a happier country without us then why is Nigeria still holding on to us? You talk about withdrawing tribesmen, military, police, legislatiors ministers etc from Nigeria we did all that in 1967 and declared ourselves independent ,
as the republic of Biafra with our own flag, own soldiers our government own currency, officially recognized by countries both home and abroad, Nigeria was so pained and came for war, and fought us for 2 yrs didn't they? Why didn't they allow us be? We won't be discussing this topic if Nigeria had let us be, Buhari was one amongst the Nigeria soldier Commanders in the baifran war protesting against him in Japan is a plus for us
Why are you this pained, do you know what a constitution of a country is?
Why did Ojukwu and Ironsi not allow Adaka Boro to form his Niger Delta republic and Ojukwu decided to form his Biafra months later,
why didn't Azikiwe agree to the de-amalgamation of Nigeria when Ahmadu Bello suggested it, why did he not agree with Awolowo when he suggested for a referendum and secession clause to be put into the constitution?
Someone had told you earlier that leaving the union by any ethnic group would take some processes but you refuse to listen

When Nigeria got independence...was there no protests abroad? That you are poor and have no exposure shouldn't be my business. Okay?
Why shifting the goal post? Nnamdi Kanu said the president should be harassed and not just protest, IPOB members have protested in several countries including Japan in the past.
This time he directed that the president should be harassed and not merely protesting where the president may not be able to see or hear them

Who is holding you down? What do you expect an ordinary non igbo citizen to do to help you go? Do you expect a Yoruba man or Hausa man to carry placard and head to national assembly with the inscription "Go igbo Go"? Secession is a political process with little role for ordinary masses. Start the political process and stop making childish populist noise all over the place and see if others would not support you.
Noo, the north had tried helping IPOBians by issuing two ultimatums in the last two years to leave the north and go form the Biafra but did they leave?
Some on nairaland even argued that they must have their Biafra before leaving, does that show any seriousness on their part?

What are you and IPOB doing to improve the standards of living in Alaigbo?
What is Nnamdi Kanu doing for the families of Igbo youths that were killed during confrontation with the Police over his incarceration?

How many Igbo students has IPOB given scholarships to study at home and abroad?

How many computers did Nnamdi Kanu donate to his old primary school?
What's IPOB doing about the plights of young Igbo men awaiting executions in Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia for drug trafficking?
Please tell me the problems of your town that you and IPOB have been able to solve.
