wetmenow: He only went for a burial not because of ipob.
ipob is terrorists group in the south east. This is politics and especially Nigerian politics, you and I would understand this as just attending a burial but what of others especially northerners who when shown this picture during campaign would interpret it as something else. Remember that Hero beer was used against him in the last election because of the rising sun logo on it. |

obailala: I agree with the OP. Obi is already loved in the east, he needs to focus more on winning other regions. If Obi gets the ticket to run in 2023, whether he attended this burial or not, he would still get full anf undiluted support from Igbos and all IPOB members. Attending the burial has only given room for an unnecessary campaign of calumny against him by other regions in future elections. When I saw the picture of him and Abaribe, I knew he really goofed. Abaribe is already a senator for his constituency and only needs their votes but not national votes unlike Obi who might be going for the presidency or vice and needs votes from all zones. He might just end up going for senate because he going for anything national is already dim. We all can remember how pictures of the Hero beer was used against him in the last election because of the rising sun logo on it. |

Some people and the way they reason can surprise the devil sef, picture appeared on the internet showing a man with resemblance to Nnamdi Kanu, people were confused and now his identity has been revealed showing he's not.
If he was Nnamdi, is it not a plus for him and IPOB that he could make it and defeating all surveillance by the FG?
Now it isn't him, it's a plus for the FG that Kanu couldn't make it afterall but all I'm seeing here is afonja.
Was it afonja that scared him not to come back and he's now formally known as a coward? |

tsdarkside: i dont understand....?? Not only you, I'm confused as well by that statement......his parents out of the way!!! Were they talking him into stopping his IPOB and he disagreed with them, does this statement have anything to do with their deaths? |
Politics › Re: Nnamdi Kanu: With My Parents Out Of The Way, Biafra Will Be Achieved Very Soon by Area4Area: 12:42pm On Feb 16, 2020 |
gidgiddy: Nigeria is a complete and utter disaster, that is why it is poverty capital of the world.
Who in their right minds wants to be associated with failure and poverty?
That is why we IgbosIPOBians must strive for an independent homeland. This is not about Nnamdi Kanu, this is about doing the needful.
Nigeria has failed woefully and we IgbosIPOBians cannot pass on this endemic failure to the next generation
It is time for us IgbosIPOBians to seek a new beginning and a fresh start. I trust my people, I have no doubt that an independent IgboIPOB land will be the most powerful country in Africa within 50 years.
But if we remain in Nigeria, we will remain part of failure and poverty |

gidgiddy: The mistake you make is that 'protest' is a right enshrined in the constitution. How can it be possible to lead people to their potential deaths over something the constitution has already granted everone?
Kanu is not leading anyone to their potential deaths, it is government and its security forces that dont care about the rule of law and human rights that are killing unarmed people unnecessarily Why have you never been in an IPOB rally, protest etc aside nairaland? Are you scared of walking the talk like the runaway cowardly coward of the millennium Nnamdi Kanu? |

horsepower102: Let’s cut the nonsense out. These people giving all these unsolicited advise are masking their inner pain and hatred for IPOB and what it stands for with fake advice.
They know that the ideas they are suggesting won’t ever work in Nigeria. They just want to sound diplomatic and appear good.
If you give these people advising you on IPOB unlimited power, they will permanently crush IPOB.
The truth is that no matter how much Nigerians pretend, the idea of Igbos leaving Nigeria makes them very scared and insecure. Forget all the online nonsense.
IPOB will have to prepare for a war. It is sad but it’s the only realistic option in a country like Nigeria. You just repeated what everyone has been saying, since IPOB can't go about it in a diplomatic manner then it should be preparing for war, simple as ABC. |

gidgiddy: Thats what the Police said. Do you believe the Police? Maybe you dont know that IPOB took the Nigerian Police to court seeking 2 Billion Naira damages over that case You were the one that said they killed policemen even when the police said 'suspected' IPOB members, you convinced us and we agreed with you, why lying as usual or you think we all have short memories |

Westbestside: I wonder, with the way they beat chest, they should all bury their head in shame. But we'll, they are shameless.
Not surprised anyways, it is a usual thing
Buhari should not come to the east, we will soak his blood with our own. What happened when buhari got there, they ran inside, only to be out when buhari left to curse their parents in the market.
Abacha said, they are noise makers with no substance. So shameless. |

gidgiddy: IPOB wants the SE and parts of the SS to break away from Nigeria as the Republic of Biafra via referendum
Even if IPOB managed to win all the elective positions in the SE/SS and moved a motion at the National Assembly for a referendum, they have zero chance of having it passed as they require two thirds Majority. Just the core North controls about 40% of the National Assembly.
Some people dont seem to understand that the way Nigeria has been constituted favours the core North, the have the most states, local governments and representatives in the NASS. They can make or unmake any law. Thats why I laugh at those who think they will ever agree that Nigeria be restructured
So going into politics is a waste of tine time for IPOB. The only alternative is to keep up the agitation u til Nigeria agrees to agrees to a referendum, even if takes 200 years Declare a Biafra and save us the stress of waiting endlessly for Biafra. When did the SE or SS tell you they want a Biafra? Go and mourn kanu's parents for now and allow him and his parents to rest |

Shameless things from the deepest part of hell and are supposed to be hiding their faces in shame are still talking.
They wanted Kanu to return and IPOB miscreants to misbehave against police directives so that they can see and lick blood are now disappointed that their plans didn't work and now trying to blame others. |

They were so angry that there evil wishes never happened Left matter for Mathias, his parents has been buried and stop crying that your plans of seeing blood didn't materialise. Let his parents rest in peace abeg |

Gnaeusmagnus: 1,Unfortunately, IPOB cannot be a political party as the Constitution does not allow secessionist parties
2.Who told you that other regions would vote down a bill for referendum? Don't make assumptions.
3.Again, the NA cannot grant a referendum unless the constitution is amended to allow for the NA to consider a referendum. Amending the constitution requires 2/3 vote in all state assemblies plus 2/3 vote at the National Assembly and Senate. He won't say he doesn't know about what you just told him but he feels shouting referendum upandan can make IPOB have it |

gidgiddy: It doesnt work like that, if a person has to understand why you should be free, this is a person who will never agree that you should be free.
Freedom is already your right, what should be discussed is the terms of separation Who's supposed to be discussing for your side, do not mention IPOB because the Igbos never elected nor asked it to speak for them. |

XANDERBOY85: Notice how they're sneakily trying to point you (Biafra) in the direction of the useless National Assembly that they control and which is full of greedy, self-serving, anywhere-belle-face politicians (of all ethnicities) who are primed to torpedo any talk of referendum or secession just to protect and preserve their hustle! If the national assembly can't give you then get prepared for a war |
