False. The are was not known as Biafra before the Portuguese came. There was no kingdom or land of Biafra anywhere in recorded history before Ojukwu took on the name for his new country.
Some people just assumed that because the Portuguese named the bight - bight of Biafra, it assume there was an actual land called Biafra. It also means there is a land called Good hope, since the English named a cape in South Africa - Cape of good hope.

According to the fake map produced (yes fake map because the people living close to the sea (or bight), the Ijaws, never at any time in history called themselves Biafrans, Cameroon should be renamed Biafra, as most of Cameroon is inside Biafra.

He knows all that because we've thoroughly schooled him on this same topic but he'd continue repeating his lies so as to make it appear as the truth.

If Biafra is given to them, I bet u that they will beg to come back to Nigeria in less than a year because Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, Enugu, n Abia will all want to produce the first Biafra president. And since that can't be possible, they will share Biafra into five more countries. In 'Anambra Country', an Awka man will wanna be president, an Abagana man will also want to be so Anambra will be shared into God knows how many countries too...lol.....Abeg let's stay together jor..Igbo brother n sisters abeg learn the act of politics n master it the way u do ur businesses, then u will produce a president. I engaged with Igbos a lot here in SW, I've asked them this question too b4.
There answer was, things are more cheaper here than SE, the cost of building malls, houses, land, factories etc, it's very cheap here in SW than SE..

I know most of my friends didn't travel to SE for Christmas, he said the cost of transportation is high...

I asked him what about biafra that if you later got it.
He said, he doesn't think biafra can come anytime soon.
He's not in support of it...


My own take is that.
It's not easy as you said it.
I know many Igbos that build their house, here, their children to go school here tho some were sent back to SE to further in the higher institution..
