FiftyFifty: This is a welcome development. Drivers' recklessness is becoming something else and the currently applicable laws aren't helping matters. Let any driver hat killed recklessly be killed too or pay Diyya. There was one that happened at uniport some time last year, driver was blowing one way and killed a student. Is that not frustrating. Is that not murder? When one sees that kind of thing, one gets very angry |
Travel › Re: FRSC Commander Advocates Sharia Law For Traffic Offences by Aremson14(m): 8:40am On May 13, 2023 |
Lol, I bet most people commenting did not even bother to read the whole thing. As soon as they saw sharia it is a problem.
From what I deduce he is talking based on his location (Bauchi). I belive majority are Muslims there and he as a "professional" in managing roads, he is probably bewildered why people don't follow simple rules and regulations, seeing some kind of very avoidable accident. Me a resident of Rivers self sometimes im bewildered why road users behave like animals.
So may be he thinks if they use a law that is closer to the people "and faster in action" is going to help
Ps: I'm not saying the law should be adopted or whatever, he is probably talking from a place of anger and frustration |
Family › Re: How Do I Cope With The Loss Of My Sister? by Aremson14(m): 2:38pm On May 12, 2023 |
We all cope with grief differently. There is no template. You just have to wake up every morning and keep trying. Sometimes it gets better sometimes you would just remember her and break down even after years of her death. If ur a religious person keep her in your prayers . At the end we all owe death and he would certainly come and take what is his no matter how long u run away or powerful you are, I doubt if in a 100 years any of us would be alive. Again sorry for ur loss |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NDLEA Recruitment 2023 Official Thread by Aremson14(m): 8:32pm On May 09, 2023 |
BakoB: well that question is simple yet kinda tricky. The truth is that a plane octagon will probably have no triangles unless it is dissected and only the sort and number of dissection will determine the resulting triangles within it. The question doesn't say all these and just assumes a plane octagon with probably nothing inside. so i think non of the above should suit it better. My 2 cents though... Same here, I'll probably go with none of the above. Let us even log in and write something I Don tire |

our law makers go to europe for medical check up but hospitals are not upgraded?
If YOUR law makers are so wonderful - why is the former senate president or deputy senate president in prison or about to go in?
Why was the transplant not done in Nigeria?
Why do their children school abroad and children of the masses are in and out of strike?
DO YOU EVEN THINK AT ALL?
OR ITS JUST TRIBE AND STIPEND?
our law makers my foot! Weda we have wonderful law makers or not is not the question. The gist is that there is nothing Obi can do about anything this election is over. There is nothing the USA or Russia can do about this |

KPGGlobal: Does matter who becomes president?
Are you not concerned about the sanity of your nation?
If he is involved in drug dealings, is that the kind of president you want for a nation that want to move forward? A big If and a very big If. Have you taken your time to go through the supposed allegations to know that these allegations do not hold any water under the law? . BaT has the full backing of the Nigerian law for now. Weda u like it or not he is president-elect under Nigerias constitution and law You are only making a redicle of yourselves calling international media for only God knows what. Its not as if they have any influence on the Nigeria judicial system. And I hope you do know sometimes what you think is right is actually wrong under the law. That is why it is called the Nigerian constitution. Our law makers made these laws and it is only the Nigeria Judiciary that is going to interpret these laws. IF YOU LIKE CALL JESUS IT IS THE NIGERIA CONSTITUTION NOT THE U.S CONSTITUTION. The earlier you guys get this the better. |

What I do not understand in all this Obidient fiasco is how they want to be president with minority votes. they didn't even come second in the race. U guys should try to remove sentiment from ur line of thoughts. It's seriously making u look like fools. I've got smart friends from the SE who voted Obi but already understand this fight is lost cause. The worst that can happen is Atiku becomes president(which I believe is worse) but Obi has no chance at all. |
