Arsenal will drop points tomorrow.

I honestly wanted them to win this season, but after that disappointing 0-2 loss to Aston Villa, I knew immediately that they had gifted City the league.

I mean after Liverpool's loss to Crystal Palace, one would expect Arsenal to use the opportunity to extend their lead, but no, they disappointed in their usual Arsenal style.

I hate this statement, and cheats like to use it a lot.

Which thing led to another? You went to show appreciation at his house. So, what thing led to another?

Usually, when sex happens like this, it is never accidental or unplanned. Both parties wanted it.

It is a different thing if she was raped or if he asked her for sex before helping her, and she was really in a terrible situation.

But when a cheat says, "one thing led to another..."

I only understand it as that they planned to have sex. Perhaps, she even shaved and wore new panties before going to meet him. You would be surprised that she went there prepared to have sex.

They can charge you as much as 1000 naira per night.

That is 30,000 naira for a sleeping space every month.

Our criminal court and justice system are just a joke or how else could you be calling a "confirmed cultist" as "suspected" cultist. I knew the criminal politicians were the ones pushing the BS legal narratives so that until sentenced they shouldn't and cannot be called criminals or paraded as such to protect themselves....

How sure are you that this suspect is the killer?

Seems like you don't know our police. They can replace the killer with someone else if the killer is the son of a big shot.

Listen to the story of the suspect. Does it make any sense to you? He killed because the guy belonged to another cult, and then went on to ramble about a phone. Why did you kill? Was it because he came to take a phone from you or because he is a member of another cult?

It is not making sense. It looks like he is confessing against himself under duress.

That is why the law treats everyone as a suspect until they are proven guilty. You can't judge a case on the surface.

Okay, I never knew the law was department-specific.

The law is not really department-specific.

It only stops you from dating someone with whom you share a sort of master-servant relationship with.

More like a person with whom you have a lot of power of influence over. Any sort of romantic relationship with that person will be deemed an abuse of position.

A lecturer of English department, can of course, date a student of Engineering faculty, although this can also present its own problem if a good lawyer claims that even an English lecturer can influence the results of an engineering students, if for example, the English lecturer has lecturer friends in the engineering faculty.

But I think the law deals more with direct influence.

A doctor can fall in love with any patient, but never with a patient under his direct care.

You are a BIG fool, if you cannot read my post in context of a brewery that Obi invested in.

You claim you are for production, rather than consumption, but you invested in a brewery when there is a manufacturing hub in Nnewi that needs power to boost productivity.

The point is that Obi should have built an IPP rather than invest in a brewery.

For a man like Obi who claims he wants to move Nigeria from consumption to production, it is embarrassing that he did not do it when he was governor of a little part of Nigeria.

Anambra has potential. Nnewi, for example, is a manufacturing hub.

An IPP to service Nnewi industrial sector would have enhanced productivity. Imagine the benefit of an IPP to a company like Inoson?

But Obi chose to invest in reckless consumption (a brewery).

Anyone who still refuses to see through Obi's charade can never be wise again.

His antecedents is enough evidence that this man will wreck Nigeria if he ever nears the seat of government.

My son misbehaves, tell me.
Learn listen, you are obviously the type of teacher who doesn't listen to students.

You wrote that "if a teacher touches your children, you will take care of it."

You don't spare the rod, yet you don't want even a teacher to touch your child.

A teacher knocked your child on the head. Your babymama reported. You rushed to the school the next opportunity you got to go to warn him.

There are many of them in the school where my wife and I teach.

Before, I used to be strict, but not anymore.

Normally, parents transfer parental rights to teachers when they drop their children at school, but if you don't want me to parent your child under my authority, I let that child rot. I collect my salary at the end of the month. To hell with spoilt brats and the parents who encourage them.

No one touches my kids in school anymore.
I have 4 boys, a set of twins and two younger ones.
The rules are simple, any student touches your younger one y'all go beat them up.
A teacher touches you I will take care of it.
My babymama called me to say she went to pick them from school and walked in on the teacher knocking my son on the head.
Few days later I returned from Abuja, went to get them from school myself, I simply called the teacher aside and told him " This is the first and very last time I will have this kinda conversation with you inside the school compound, the next time you touch my son I would be waiting for you outside the school and I won't be talking"
I have also informed the headteacher, if it happens again, I am withdrawing my 4 sons and someone will spend a long time in the hospital.

I am an advocate of not sparing the rode but teachers are now going to school to unleash their frustration on kids.
I am not paying half a million for you to turn my son to a punching bag

Your parenting is poor. I am a teacher. I have dealt with children who have parents like you.

Because their parents enable them, they most of the time report out of mischief, and the father would be hurrying to school to create a scene.

There was one parent in particular. He was not violent, so he never put his hands on any teacher. He was a lawyer and would threaten you with lawsuit for as little as scolding his child in class.

At a point, I was class teacher of the boy's class. One day, during Valentine's Day, we found packs of condom in his bag. The boy denied knowing how they got into his bag. Every teacher was scared of interrogating him. Even the principal could not interrogate him. At closing time, the boy left the class. Then, some minutes later, he returned with his father who was looking furious. The man started shouting that I should not hurt his child emotionally. That why did I scold him. I told the father that we found condom in his son's bag. The father asked the son if he knew anything about the condom, the boy said no. The father now told me that his son can never lie. If he said he didn't know how the condom got there, then that is it.

I was shocked.

Another one of such spoilt brats would report every thing that happened in school, and the father or mother will be in school the next day to complain or quarrel. The boy will not write notes. You can't punish him. You can't flog him. Yet, the parents will complain during Open Day that their son does not write notes. If you tell them that other students write notes, they will say it is your fault that their son is not writing notes.

God! Sometimes, I want to lay these bad parents down and beat the hell out of them for being so poor in parenting.

Parents need to start teaching their kids gun handling. Taken them to ranges often so they can defend themselves when it matters.

If the victim had shot the bully dead, it would have been addressed as self defense, and probably will get few years behind bars for illegal possession of arms.

Every parent should perfect the arms handling of their kids before they turn 15. Fights wont be fought with punches o Mr slaps in the future. He/she with better handling wins.

You don't get the point.

The point is that if laws are enforced to the point that people are this afraid to break it, Nigeria would have made some progress.

For example, if we can get to this point one day when a politician can be scared to steal for fear of being arrested, Nigeria will start getting better.

We make too many laws in this country, but we hardly implement any.

Take for example, the IG always declaring it illegal to use police as bodyguards to private citizens. Even celebrities like Jim Iyke have one as body guard and openly shows him off on social media. Total disregard for the law.

Kudos to the EFCC. But more needs to be done. It is a gradual process, but we must take the implementation of laws as seriously as law making.

They already have regulations in place. The accidents might be happening every day, but many go untold, so the government can only react when once in a while one incident becomes news. The government then refers people to the regulations.

You don't expect government to be monitoring beaches and public swimming pools every minute, do you?
