Filipy:If you need military drills to prepare you to be fit and competent, then you should just join the military. Before I went for service, I was juggling 3 jobs and always got home late every night to still make dinner for myself. That was before NYSC. I knew someone who always walked from Moro to Ife. For those who know Osun State, they will tell you how far those places are from each other. I think Nigerian youths are unfortunately largely lazy and unadventurous. What if there is no NYSC, how will many of you even survive? Haba mana! What if a government comes one day and scraps it? Many of the things I learnt at NYSC were things I already learnt. I prayed for my posting to be to the South East because that was the only region I had never visited, but it never happened as I was posted to Kwara. |
youngsahito:Why must there be military drill? How come the military drills never made a difference when corps members pass out? What is the point of the drills? How much better and prepared for the labour market do these drills make the corps members? Someone is trying to reform the scheme to get the best out of it, but you people insist on the old, unproductive way. |
South Africa is stronger than Canada. I expect them to qualify for the round of 16 tonight. |
Mandem05:You need to read more on the Green Card. Without that Green Card or a U.S. citizenship, you can't get into the military, even if your spouse is a U.S. citizen. Possessing a green card means you can legally live and work in the United States. Without that card or a U.S. citizenship, you can't work legally in the United States. And by extension, you can't get into the Army because the Army is considered "work" too. Being married to a U.S. citizen can help you quickly get your green card, but it can't help you get into the military without a green card of your own. |
They conceded 9 goals in just 2 matches and managed to score only one goal. What a disaster of an outing. |
aariwa:We were at the 2018 World Cup under APC. In fact, we qualified earlier than usual. So, get your facts right and stop spreading misinformation. |
henkey:So because he is a defender of the government, he deserves to be kidnapped? This toxic politics you people are playing will consume you eventually. |
This was exactly how Skrill started to fall apart too until my 50 dollars got trapped there forever. |
Freshtruth:Do you know how long it took for the invention of electricity to happen? Between when man first observed static electricity to when electricity (as we know it) was invented? It took almost 3000 years for that transition to happen. Science is not a sudden miracle thing. It takes years and even millennials between observations and inventions. As for HIV, scientists have made great strides since when the viral infection was documented in the 1980s. But viral infections are hard to cure because they are technically not living things that you can directly attack and kill. HIV hijack cells, mess with the cell's DNA and turn the cell into a sort of zombie. So, instead of the cell to carry out its biological functions, it will be carrying out the orders of the virus. It will be making more viruses and eventually burst open with newly produced viruses which would then go on to infect other cells in the body. Because HIV does not have cell walls or its own properties or machineries, you can't use antibiotics to fight it. Scientists discovered Antiretroviral therapy (ART) which helps to prevent the virus from spreading further. But the ART does not kill the virus since the virus is not technically a living organism. ART does a fantastic job of preventing the virus from hijacking other cells and replicating. If the virus cannot replicate itself, the viral loads drop as infected cells die. ART does not cure HIV because the HIV can rest or hide in the DNA of some cells for years. Because these viruses cannot replicate themselves, they lay dormant and even manage to hijack other cells and force them to replicate viral reservoirs. Scientists are currently researching ways to clear up these dormant cells because if an infected person stops receiving ART, the dormant cells will awaken and HIV will resume replication. |
Kanwulia:Don't worry. Tinubu will continue. I see you people are not ready. Tinubu till 2031. Money is the god. None of you hypocrites should complain when the dollarization begins and your candidate is outspent. |
FSBoperator:Bro, you are speaking hogwash. All the rich men that have governed you since 1999, I guess they have solved our myriads of problems. Tell me one philosopher of old or one poet that was rich? Yet, they were full of wisdom. Make Tinubu continue. Una never wan get sense. |
Kanwulia:This is a big problem with you Nigerians. So, if a man has great ideas for the country, he has no business contesting if he can't afford the form fee? Someone will go and take a loan and win the election and you expect him not to loot. |
Na medicine do am. The power of IVF. Medical scientists are the real God. Scientists generally should be worshipped, not the thieving pastors and the God they claim created the universe. |
ElevationD:Instead of you to accept that you goofed, you still want to argue. Which business profile? His only business is his stores. Chairing a business does not mean you own it. The only business he owns are his stores and how many stores does he have in Nigeria or elsewhere? I am sure his employees are not even up to 200. |
ElevationD:Do you even know the meaning of millions? Even Dangote who is the largest employer of labour in the private sector has only 30,000 employees across its business units. UBA has around 25,000 employees. MTN Group has around 20,000 employees across 18 markets in Africa. Its biggest African market is Nigeria where it employs under 10,000 employees. How many stores does Obi have that you want to claim that he pays the salaries of millions of employees? Make una dey take am easy with the hyping of this Peter Obi o. |
From the comments, you will realize that people didn't understand the video. Two couples fight! That is, a man and his wife fight another man and his wife. One couple (husband and wife) and another couple (husband and wife) were wedded and wanted to take photos, but a photo spot caused an argument between them. Although in the video, only the husbands appear to be fighting. |
Just imagine the police barging into your room just when you are about to cum. Or being caught in a brothel when you told your wife you were going to watch ball in the next street. And to make matters worse, the brothel is not even on the way to the viewing centre. So, how did you get into a brothel? |
Shinor:You need a history textbook o. You did not know that even Socrates, Plato's teacher, witnessed democracy and hated it? In fact, when a historian teaches the weaknesses of democracy, they will always reference Socrates and Plato. Socrates' problem with democracy is that unfit/unqualified individuals usually have the tendency to be handed power. Plato emphasized that statement by mentioning the philosopher-king. According to Plato, people elect leaders in a democracy based on emotion rather than wisdom. Plato believes that power should be held by wise men (or philosophers). |
Mattswaggz:The job is easy when you are not the one doing it. Give it to Kemi and you will start seeing that she is not as good as she thinks she is. That is life. We always think we can do a better job when we are not the ones doing the job. I remembered when Oliseh used to have a lot to say about SE coaches. He was called Africa's Guardiola. NFF eventually gave him the job and we all saw how it ended. Easier said than done! |
Macphenson:Bro, Trump does not know what else to do. Forget it. Did he give deadlines before going to war with Iran? On a normal day, Trump would never give deadlines before striking Iran. He knows he has miscalculated. He is making threats because he doesn't know what else to do, hoping that Iran would be scared. Remember the economic woes going on globally. The Americans will start grumbling soon. |
anigold:And which country can the US withstand in open battle? You people think war is some game that is easy to predict. Being strong on paper is not the same as being in a real war situation. On paper, the United States should destroy Iran in an under a week. But in reality, a combined attack from Israel and the US has not been able to decimate Iran since February 28. In fact, Trump himself admits underrating Iran's strategy. |
Misplaced priority. Investing in massive buildings instead of the Church. |
sheedy407:They said "large ticket borrowers" That means those with non-performing loan sizes that can affect a bank’s Capital Adequacy Ratio. They are not talking to those who borrow money from OPay or PalmPay. You think your 10k/250k loan can affect a bank's CAR? Even those with 1 million naira loans don't count. They are talking to millionaire/billionaire/big business owners' loans. |
He get mind o. Agodi of all places. That scary place? |
HeadNigga:So, Yoruba movies don't fall under the Nollywood film industry? You people are too ignorant. The name "Nollywood" is just the name of the movie industry in Nigeria. Every movie (be it Yoruba, Igbo or English) fall under that industry. Only the Hausas refuse to fall under that industry. They rather call their own movie industry "Kannywood". |
gidgiddy:The hatred has always been there, even before he became president. The hate is largely from one region, and it came from the role Tinubu played in ousting GEJ. The hatred became worse when Tinubu won the election in 2023. I remember very clearly those who began the rumour that Buhari had sidelined Tinubu. They could not believe that the same Tinubu would remain in APC and still throw his weight behind Buhari's reelection while political desperados like Atiku, Obi, Dino, Saraki have been busy running up and down like headless chickens, hoping to become president overnight. |
Shedrack777:It was a podcast and the interviewer asked him about Obi. Did you expect him to be discussing Tinubu when the question was about Obi? Or you think everyone is like Obi whom they would ask about A and he will talking about B? |
The MOD should rearrange the score. It is Morocco vs Senegal (0-1) |
If the Super Eagles had played like this, they would have had a case. But they let the Moroccans outplay them. Senegal has a strong case. How can a referee award such a soft penalty kick late in such a high profile game. Would he have awarded the penalty if it would be against Morocco? |
zeenaman:It is a terrible mentality. |
Wotowotoman:Hope you no dey criticize Tinubu o? Remember sey the man fit feed your entire village. I no wan hear say you criticize any billionaire again. Anyone wey rich pass you don pass criticism. Abi no be wetin you dey talk be that? |
