is it not an insults to the CU management of the products of students that's coming out from your school. A christian school for that matter is producing a cigarette graduate. Please am asking what's the faith of the society. It is only God that will help us. If you aren't been disciplined in CU I think you will be taught outside. Come and see them during the NYSC period. You will be ashamed of the school they came from. No discipline at all. Smoking cigarette every where.
one thing you don't understand is that the lecturers they employed are graduates who are Ph.d holders and professors who finished from from public universities even some obtained their doctorate degree from foreign countries long time ago when the standard of the education is still good not the crop of graduates we have presently although we still some guys from public universities who are exceptionally good but not all.....

I really dont know why you have to defend yourself against this poor-minded and deluded people. You are trying to fit into ut with them and it should'nt be so. Whoever wants to send his/her ward to CU should do and of not they should shut their lice infested mouths.

Every single time covenant university or other private schls come on news, they alwaya receive backlash, dont you think it stems from their insecurities ?? They feel they cant meet up. whether or not, we have set a standard, changed the status quo. They should enjoy their ill-literate lecturers too who only derive joy in giving marks to their grandmothers.

Dnt reply anybody's stupidy about CU again, please. It shouldnt happen.
Well said eventhough I finished from public university

You are a perfect paragon of what the Oxford dictionary defines as a fool to think that your SHUT UP meant anything to me, i only mentioned that to point out the stupidity you have acquired over time.

Let me reiterate here again in the interest of emphasis that private universities are refuge for those who could not pass jamb.

whether you agree with me or not is inconsequential but i hold that truth to be self evident.

Bleep off my page slowpoke
And those that passed jamb are those that finished from federal universities? U are too deluded to see where i wrote how we helped most of undergraduates and graduates of public universities to make sure their O''level and jamb are OK? I don't need to expose more on that.Besides what i can deduced from the rubbish you have been spewing since is that jamb really dealt with you, which means you failed jamb five times or more...olodo as i said before stop hyping jamb....

the best i can tell is that you lack the most minimal standard of manners and that is why you could begin a reply to someone's post with a "SHUT UP". ergo my reasons for the acidic replies to you comments

i think you have displayed your stupidity enough to grant me leave to exit this page

I rest my case.
yes you deserve to shut up due to your myopic sense of reasoning,if that ''SHUT UP '' hurt you so much I will continue to say it until you learn how to say sensible things on public thread as I said earlier stop hyping jamb......

dont be stupid, i asked why didnt he send his son there, you are talking of my father. politicians will talk of education and then send theire kids abroad, some will build "universities but there children dont attend, tommorow graduates who cant compose a sentence or answer a simple question like the one I asked you will wonder why they cant get a job. instead of you to question a system that oprresses you, you are insulting the person who who asking the questions that matter, if you were related to the Adelekes I will understand but you probably dont even eat as well as Davido's brother's dog and you are holding brief for them.
chai you see why I have been asking you this question pls answer which one did your father build?which system oppresses you?it shows your insanity is beyond remedy who told you deji adeleke is a politician?besides what is my business with David brother's dog dat feed well than your entire generation? Are they the one that put your entire family into perpetual poverty? The vast majority of those using foul languages against this institution are genetically stup!d and idiotic. Your hatred towards Davido shouldn't make you all so stup!d to stupidly make dum.b comments. Whether y'all like it or not, the dude is RICH, his family is equally WEALTHY. There's no competition, everyone cannot afford to build these edifices, just live and let others live.

Oooooh that's the way I died laughing when you guys too think that we don't earn 150k in Nigeria

What's 150k I laugh there are people that have never earned less than 400k in Nigeria years of working and it's been steady

You see we can keep arguing round and round because you guys in abroad will keep painting it with only the good side and covering the bad sides and we in Nigeria will do the same too.

But there are really people having it well in Nigeria
I'm in Nigeria and I'm happy very happy for that matter......it's simple build your own world and enjoy it.

Every country has her good and bad side
lol see ur mouth like 150k even a 10years old person knows that u are only deceiving urself let me start from paramilitary how much is graduate level monthly salary of immigration, custom, civil defence and road safety?should I start with civil servant? Ooh u are referring to bankers whose majority are contract staff that earn below 100k? From all I have mentioned above the total population that got those job above is not less than 10 to 15% of the total unemployed graduates we have in Nigerian. Do you know how many graduates that applied for N-power a 30k job? Close to 3million.you can only deceive yourself not Nigerians on nairaland

Your post made me laugh. Do you know how many middle class Nigerians own at least two cars and a driver to go with it? Having a driver, maids, and other domestic staffs here is quite easy unlike it is abroad. Now tell me, assuming i work in a bank, with even a salary of N150,000, i can still afford to pay a driver N25K, a washer man N15K and a maid N15 to N20(or alternatively i can just put her in a cheap school or let her learn a trade) how many middle class indivuals abroad can afford all three permanent staffs at the same time? So there are pluses and minuses everywhere. With that same salary, i can also be granted visas to many other countres abroad , depending on how i package myself. What i'm trying to say is this, Nigeria is not as hard as most people make it seem, our problem is that most people cant see beyond the bridges of their flat noses
it shall not be well with you and your generation with this heartless comments can a driver you want to pay such meagre amount of stipend per month pay medical bills of 800k upward if strange illness happen to his family?oloshi

[quote author=Schwartz post=58372420]So you actually wrote that its only a particular tribe that stays homeless and begs on the streets. shocked I have met naija guys staying at the train station begging for a living plus many other nationalities as well. Go to Hamburg central train station and bring out money from your wallet to pay for a ticket, as soon as you're about to slot in your money into the machine you immediately see (from nowhere two or three guys corner you desperately begging you for money and if your not smart enough your money is gone. Go to Berlin ZOB at every interval there is a public announcement system warning everyone to watch their luggage's and personal items because there are pick pockets around. Go to Bremen central station right infront you find many people sitting on dirty blankets with their dogs begging for food and money. Even in the cold. Breaks my heart to see such. Peole sleep in the train station, on the streets, feed from dustbin. I have seen it countless times. Some stand at the entrance of shops to beg. There are poor people living in abject poverty everywhere including europe and America. American citizens live in homeless shelters too.

I have never read a comment so exaggerated gosh! You are obviously in Nigeria daydreaming of how heavenly abroad looks like. Is scadaniva a country?[/quote)stop this display of stupidity you are showing here, those country you mentioned above can't be compare with Nigerian in all ramifications.Have you visited hospitals on Nigerian? Pls go to UCH Ibadan and see how Nigerians are dying everyday due to financial problem to pay their medical bills while the people you called poor ppl in adavanced countries have access to health care and social security pls never in your life compare poor Nigerians to those poor ppl in developed countries

Nigerian universities will not be like Harvard or any of the universities you've mentioned simply because we are a poor country at the moment whether we accept it or not. I got convinced during my first exposure to western education. The UK/US university system gets funding from their government as well as well-meaning donors .In the UK the government allocates a fixed number of slots for its citizens on each program a university offers. For each of these slots the government allocates about GBP9,000 while the student who is able to get admitted pays about GBP3,000 . Thus the university gets a fee of approximately GBP12,000 on each student aside from research grants, fees from international students and other source of funding. I looked at the university of glasgow budget for 2014 and its was around the region of GBP500M . More than the budget of an entire state in Nigeria. Our universities are poorly funded and as such cannot compete with universities in the first world.

A revolution will not bring UI and HArvard at par. Nigerians need to focus/tackle the root cause of our problems and rather than allowing emotion take control of our reasoning.

We can refuse to comply with their fake policy of 'growing naija' all we want, but the reality remains that our so-called leaders are being very insincere to Nigerians.
everyone knows that our leaders are insincere to Nigerians but the bone of contention is dat the country is the reflection of our educational system as I said earlier double your hustle if you wish to have foreign education
