limamintruth: Really?
So why is the government deceiving Nigerians to patronise made-in-nigeria goods & services/businesses then
Clearly, they do not practice what they keep preaching. The government did not mandate it for citizens to school in Nigerian just work hard and find your way out of the country if u want foreign education |

hollowpot15684: Politicians often ridicule Nigerians just because a common Nigerian cannot stand up to speak for himself. I have personally commit such error before and I made up my mind that no-one will ever ridicule me anymore. But that doesn't mean because my father is not a politician I can't have such education too, I just have to work for it.
Some people here are vexed. you better stop hating and work harder. unfortunately, you are feeling depressed or oppressed. you better wake up and stir your paddle harder..

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: N-power: FG Explains Reasons For Delay In Payment Of Some Volunteers by arena07: 12:52pm On Jun 26, 2017 |
Winner4Life: This is a laudable programme but the problem is many participants in Edo State receive this money without working for it. Some are really not unemployed. Some go to their places of work once or twice a week. Some just stay at home and receive what they call cool money while some others engage a second party to work in their place while they play the role of the employer! Some boss at the places of work even compromise with some N-power staff to earn without working for their money! Meanwhile many are out there looking for similar opportunities. When will this corruption end? Maybe we should protest at vice President office at abuja and tell them what the volunteers are doing with their nonchalant attitude towards the job? but you will be the person to lead the protest or what do u think? |

Its as if you're saying that since Nokia c2 can make call and Iphone7 can, then IPhone 7 is not a better phone.
What are you even comparing between Nigeria and Canada?
My district is full of rich people, but the only time I see electricity is around 12am when people has gone to bed.
Its a little acceptable to compare Canada to lekki or V.I
But comparing country for country is not making sense. lol u are funny what is so special about lekki?are saying they have uninterrupted power supply for 24hours? Canada is 1million times better than those places you mentioned... I wonder why guys are still replying her |

Think again, bro'. Or did they study for their bachelor's and masters' degree courses in Canada? Let us know the real truth. yes some get recertification and their lives are better than when they are in Nigerian |

[quote author=laudate post=53495100]Go and talk to the doctors, nurses etc. that work over there and let them tell you what they passed through before they could get a job. By the grace of God, I have had the privilege of working in 3 different continents in more than 8 countries. I have seen Nigerians in different places, and observed first hand what they go through. If you still do not believe me, please hop on a plane to these foreign countries that you love so much and stay there for a few years. You will come back to compare notes and wish you had done things differently. One word of advise: do not compare yourself with Nigerians that hold dual citizenships over there, or who have rich parents and families that sponsored their trips and education in those foreign countries. You would be making a huge mistake! [/quote) what makes you think I can't sponsor myself through legal means to travel abroad?besides nobody says it is rosy over there but with hard work and prayer you will be better than average youths here in Nigerian... |

laudate: Travel legally to Australia, Canada, new Zealand and Germany, to do just what exactly?? What kind of jobs are you talking about? First of all, do you know how much the ticket, visa, travel documents, accommodation abroad etc., will cost you?? Calculate it. If you use that money to set up a small scale business in Nigeria, after doing your research don't you think you would be better off?
In these countries you mentioned, you cannot even get a decent professional job, without re-training to get their own certifications. Do you know how long it takes, or how much it costs?? lol yes I said travel legally I have lots of friends that travelled to Canada through federal skilled work and they are doing wonderfully fine besides if you have the money for pay tuition fees in those countries I mentioned with Hard work and prayer that person will be better than average Nigerian youths...business in Nigerian this period is hard unless agriculture even with farming it will take lot of time before you can make head way |
Education › Re: 4 Mistakes 99% Of Students Make That’ll Slow Their Progress After Graduation by arena07: 10:04am On Feb 07, 2017 |
laudate: Another shallow epistle from a person that has not thought outside the box. You think simply leaving this country is the key to success? Go abroad and see how many Nigerians are still living from hand to mouth with nothing to show for it, because they have mortgaged their future to the system over there. Many of them cannot come home, because after many years abroad they have nothing to show for it. Others have taken to crime and illegal means to make money, out of desperation. While quite a good number have had to marry foreigners of low repute, just to obtain a residence permit. At the end of the day, those foreigners show them pepper and they can't do jack, because they lack the means to move.
Oga, think deeply before you fall into the trap of thinking 'going abroad' is a trip to paradise, and you end up making such mistakes. For you to say NYSC is a waste of time, shows that you do not even understand what NYSC is all about. A number of my colleagues made use of their NYSC period to engage in small-scale businesses or learn new skills at their place of primary assignment, which ended up fetching them good money. I had a friend who finished from UNILAG and was posted to Warri. The guy got curious about kerosense business, made friends who taught him all he needed to know and got connected to people at the depot. At the end of his NYSC year, he made enough money to buy a small car.
There are so many little things you can do to keep body and soul together, pending when you get a good job. Think outside the box, study hard and network. Learn from entrepreneurs and visit small-scale industries for ideas. Above all, pray to God to send you divine help and inspiration. With God on your side, you will surely make a difference. If you travel legally to gud countries like Australia, Canada, new Zealand and Germany without involving in crime your life will be better than average Nigerian youths that raom the street without jobs...even those with jobs are even trying every possible legal means to leave this country..... |

abmendozer: Education is over rated in Nigeria joor! I went to a friend's jamb tutorial class and I was sad because the students think life is the way they picture it. I never realised all these things till I finished the time wasting NYSC last year. Those that have graduated years back are still struggling with their life not to talk of recent graduates. The only thing that is important is to have a hand work. Btw, you think having connection is an easy task? You think these top people want to help anybody aside from their children? You better wake up! If you are not from a wealthy family, just work and and slowly and gradually you will get there...but if you are from a rich background, just count your blessings. Finally if you have any opportunity to leave this country RUN and don't look back well said especially the last sentence... |
