Technocracy:
Obasanjo is fond of criticizing those who disagrees with him, as far as Nigeria is concerned he had all the opportunities to make us great with the huge oil revenues that came during his tenure and yet he did nothin,he is still culpable in the siemen and haliburton scandal not to talk of the billions wasted on power sector reform with nothing to show during his time
The price of oil during OBJ's time was almost 4 times less than the selling price under Jonadumb and OBJ still managed to save billions of dollars and paid off our debt so why not just tell us what GEJ achieved all that money and why is he borrowing from China to do everything?

Billions for airport repainting came from China

Money for the ancient and stone age railway came from China

Money for power dams came from China

Money for the obsolete toys that never functioned aka Abuja CCTV came from China..

So kindly tell us what Nigerian's have benefited from the $500 billion generated under GEJ...

Jonadumb's terrible characteristics and his incompetent and corrupt ways is at this point not any kind of news to Nigerians so of what relevance is this info?

When is OBJ going to apologize to Nigerians for saddling us with the same disaster called GEJ he is now denouncing?

OBJ is trying too have it both ways and this is the problem with Nigerian leaders, they have zero sense of responsibility and accountability.

The only way to redeem yourself is by helping to get rid of the disaster he created.

LAGOSIANS TO VOTE FOR SUSTAINABILITY

All our interventions have been made possible with the usage of the taxpayers’ money by an APC Government; so vote for continuation”, he says Contrary to misrepresentations in some sections of the media, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola SAN, at two different fora at the weekend continued his sustained campaign for his Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and urged Lagosians to vote for its Governorship Candidate, Mr. Akin Ambode, in order to sustain the programmes of the present administration.

It would be recalled that at several public fora and media interviews preceding the APC Gubernatorial primaries in the State, Governor Fashola had reiterated his conviction that he would support any of the candidates produced by the party primaries adding that being product of the Lagos State Public Service system, any of the candidates who emerged would be able to carry on the task of sustaining the rapid development going on in the State since the return of democratic governance in 1999.

Speaking at the Lagos Sea Food Festival 2014 at the Bar Beach, Victoria Island, Governor Fashola said supporting the new candidate and the Party would also ensure that the State would continue to enjoy the good governance and high performance attributes of the Party which have been variously demonstrated in all the States under its control.

Noting that the 2014 Annual Seafood Festival would mark his last as Governor of the State, the Governor declared, “I urge you all to support the new APC Governorship Candidate; support him, support the Party and make sure that the Festival continues.

Presidency caught showcasing Kwankwaso’s projects as Jonathan’s achievement in North-West

The Nigerian presidency has been caught showcasing projects executed by the Kano State Government as part of the legacy projects executed by the President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration in the North-West geopolitical zone of the country.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, had in a 10-part series of tweets on Sunday highlighted key projects he said the Jonathan administration executed in the six North-West states of Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara.
Using the hashtags #DidYouKnow?#TransformationintheNorthWest #ForwardNigeria #UpJonathan #UpNigeria, Mr. Abati deployed images and graphics to illustrate what he called the President’s transformation of the North-West zone.

Kano State Supports its students at Crescent University

https://goldmyne.net/redcapkano/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Nigerian-students1.jpg

Kano state government is to spend N56, 000, 000 annually to finance the education of 100 of its students who secured admission recently into Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun state. This translates into N560, 000 on each student per annum.
The state governor, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso said that his administration is paying serious attention to education not just for its citizens to earn university degrees but for them to be exposed and capable of fitting into what he termed “the Nigeria of today and the Nigeria of tomorrow and beyond”.

The governor who made this known during a send forth held at the government house, Kano for the 100 students sponsored by the state government said ”since we are the most populous state, we have to create opportunity for our people to acquire education”.
This, he said will launch Kano further into the league of progressive states , pointing out that if the state doesn’t pay attention to education its children will continue to roam the streets as beggars. Governor Kwankwaso therefore challenged Kano citizens not to relent in embracing education so that the growth and development of the state will be accelerated.
